The prototype of the device for radio-physical diagnostics of heart rate has been developed. The modular structure of the device is described. An intelligent sensor is selected for data acquisition and measurement system. Data exchange procedure between sensor and computer is configured on hardware and software level. Digital signal processing algorithms, in particular, filtering, cancelling artifacts of various nature and spectral analysis of biophysical data have been implemented. The results of measuring the heart rate variability are demonstrated. The concept of selecting a signal for organism exposure is represented, which uses information about heart rate fluctuations.

Estimation of Heart Rate Variability Fluctuations by Wavelet TransformTechnique for separate estimation of fast and slow fluctuations in the heart rate signal is developed. The orthogonal dyadic wavelet transform is used to separate the slow heart rate changes in approximation part of decomposition and fast changes in detail parts. Experimental results using the recordings from persons practicing Chi meditation demonstrated the applicability of estimation heart rate fluctuations with the proposed approach.

This paper reviews recent progress on different high-speed optical short- and medium-reach transmission systems. Furthermore, a comprehensive tutorial on high-performance, low-cost, and advanced optical transceiver (TRx) paradigms is presented. In this context, recent advances in high-performance digital signal processing algorithms and innovative optoelectronic components are extensively discussed. Moreover, based on the growing increase in the dynamic environment and the heterogeneous nature of different applications and services to be supported by the systems, we discuss the reconfigurable and sliceable TRxs that can be employed. The associated technical challenges of various system algorithms are reviewed, and we proffer viable solutions to address them.

The article describes the microprocessor system for various digital signal processing algorithms testing. The development of electric drive control systems is carried out with the usage of modeling systems such as, MATLAB/Simulink. Modern digital control systems are based on specialized digital signal microcontrollers. The present market offers evaluation boards, for example STM32F4DISCOVERY, which enables to connect a microcontroller to a personal computer. It makes possible to use the microcontroller as a part of the mathematical model of the control system. However, the designing of the control system simulation model and the program for the microprocessor is carried out in different programming environments. Thus, the software and hardware solution for testing programs for the microprocessor, which is a part of the control system, is relevant. This article deals with the designing of the modeling method in which the prototype program for the microprocessor is debugged as a part of the electric drive control system simulation model.
