The paper provides the first data on aphyllophoraceous fungi of the planned protected area «Kuznechnoye» (Kaarlahti) situated in Priozersk District of the Leningrad Region. The list includes 138 species annotated by data on their habitats, substrates, and frequency. Representative specimen numbers are cited for selected species. Hyphoderma incrustatum (first record in the European Russia), H. occidentale (first record in the northwestern Russia) and Junghuhnia semisupiniformis are recorded for the first time for the region. The specimens are kept in the Mycological herbarium of the Komarov Botanical Institute RAS (LE).

The paper provides the first data on aphyllophoroid fungi of the Natural Park «Toksovskiy» situated in Vsevolozhsk District of the Leningrad Region in the central part of the Karelian Isthmus. The list includes 165 species annotated by data on their habitats, substrates and frequency. Stereopsis vitellina (Plowr.) D. A. Reid is recorded for the first time for the Leningrad Region. The specimens of selected species are kept in the Mycological Herbarium of the Komarov Botanical Institute RAS (LE).

The paper provides the data on aphyllophoroid fungi of the State Nature Reserve «Kurgalsky» situated in the Kingisepp District of the Leningrad Region. The list includes 285 species annotated by data on their habitats, substrates and frequency. In total 25 species protected in the Leningrad Region and 3 species protected in Russian Federation were found in the protected area. Chaetodermella luna, Phlebia subochracea and Trechispora stevensonii are published for the first time for the Leningrad Region. The specimens of selected species are kept in the Mycological Herbarium of the Komarov Botanical Institute RAS (LE).

The paper provides the data on aphyllophoroid fungi of the planned protected area “Haapalampi–Northwest shore of Lake Ladoga” situated in the Sortavala District of the Republic of Karelia. The list includes 216 species annotated by data on their habitats, substrates and frequency. In total 11 species of aphyllophoroid fungi protected in the Republic of Karelia (Krasnaya…, 2007) were found in the protected area. Athelia binucleospora, Byssocorticium pulchrum, Hydnum ellipsosporum, H. umbilicatum, Junghuhnia autumnalis, Phanerochaete livescens, Phlebia subcretacea, and Vuilleminia alni are published for the first time for the Republic of Karelia. The specimens of new and rare species are kept in the Mycological Herbarium of the Komarov Botanical Institute RAS (LE).

The lichen biota of the Ragusha River (protected area in Leningrad Region) is studied. In total 221 species (211 lichenized, 5 lichenicolous and 5 saprobic fungi) are listed. Lecanora perpruinosa is new to North-Western European Russia. Lathagrium fuscovirens, Pronectria erythrinella, Protoblastenia rupestris, Thelidium minutulum, T. zwackhii and Tremella hypogymniae are reported for the first time for Leningrad Region, and Ochrolechia bahusiensis for Eastern Leningrad Region. The most noteworthy part of lichen biota is the complex of 21 calcicolous lichens. Eleven of them are known in the region only from the Ragusha River valley.

Euastrum lacustre is reported for Russia for the first time. This alcaliphilic species was found in the periphyton and plankton of three lakes in the Kursk Region (European Russia). A description of morphology, including the relief of cell wall, and habitats where this taxon is found are represented. LM and SEM microphotographs are provided. Morphological differences of E. lacustre from similar species are discussed. New species for region, namely Closterium aciculare, Cosmarium formosulum, C. granatum, C. pseudoinsigne, C. reniforme and Staurastrum pingue, are found in the samples together with E. lacustre.

The paper provides new data on aphyllophoroid fungi of the State Nature Reserve “Kurgalsky” situated in the Kingisepp District of the Leningrad Region. They were collected on the Kader bog and its vicinity. The list includes 165 species annotated by data on their habitats, substrates and frequency, including 37 species new for the reserve. In total 5 species (Antrodia mellita, Chaetoporellus latitans, Junghuhnia collabens, Rigidoporus crocatus, Sidera lenis) protected in the Leningrad Region and 3 species (Phlebia subserialis, Pseudomerulius montanus, Xenasma pruinosum) new for the Leningrad Region were found in study part of reserve. The specimens of selected species are kept in the Mycological Herbarium of the Komarov Botanical Institute RAS (LE).

The paper provides the data on mosses of the State Nature Reserve ”Kurgalskiy” situated in the Kingisepp District of the Leningrad Region. The list includes 136 species. Among them Plagiothecium nemorale is new for the Leningrad Region, 83 species are recorded for the first time for the protected area, 12 species are protected in the region, Aulacomnium androgynum is protected in Russia. Of the protected species, Plagiothecium latebricola is recorded for the first time for the protected area. Data on habitats, substrates and frequency of every species are provided.

New data on species diversity of agaricoid fungi of Oksky Biosphere Reserve are given. The checklist of 41 species with indication of their localities and herbarium numbers (of the Herbarium of the Komarov Botanical Institute, LE) is provided. Three species (Conocybe gigasperma, Entoloma occultopigmentatum, E. scabiosum) are recorded for the first time in Russia.

Information on the Sphagnum mosses of the South Ossetia is generalized, the resulted list is presented. Nine species of Sphagnum are included in the list, whereabouts data and references to the publications are given, and the presence of a sample in the Herbarium of the Komarov Botanical Institute RAS (LE) is noted. The species Sphagnum platyphyllum (Lindb. ex Braithw.) Warnst. rarely occurring in the Caucasus is reported in the South Ossetia for the first time. The species was found in the Caucasus, South Ossetia, at the side of the Ertso Lake (42°28ʹN, 43°45ʹE), 1720 m a. s. l., among sedge thickets at the margin of the overgrowing lake. The peculiarities of its occurrence and ecological conditions are considered. Its distribution in the Caucasus and in the world is discussed.

The corticioid basidiomycete Jaapia ochroleuca (Bres.) Nannf. et J. Erikss. is recorded for the first time in the European Russia from the «Bryansky Les» Nature Reserve (Bryansk Region). The taxonomic position of the species is defined briefly. Its morphological description and data on distribution and ecology are provided. The details of microscopic structure of the collected specimen are illustrated.
