Abstract NIMOCAST Alloy 80 is the casting counterpart of NIMONIC Alloy 80A (Alloy Digest Ni-10, May 1954). It may be used as as cast but develops optimum mechanical properties in the fully heat treated condition. NIMOCAST Alloy 80 is used for diesel engine precombustion chambers and for other high-temperature components.
