The alloys of the As2Te3-Cu2Cr4Te7 system were investigated by methods of physicochemical analyzes (DTA, XRD, MSA, as well as density and microhardness measurements) and its phase diagram was constructed. Studies have shown that the As2Te3-Cu2Cr4Te7 system is a partially quasi-binary section of the As2Te3-Cr2Te3-CuTe quasiternary system. In a system at room temperature based on As2Te3, solid solutions reach 3.5 mol %, and based on the Cu2Cr4Te7 solid solutions reach up to 17 mol %. Eutectic equilibrium and peritectic transformation occur during chemical interactions between As2Te3 and Cu2Cr4Te7 compounds in the system.

The character of the interaction in the InAs2Se4 -InAs2SSe3 system was investigated and its phase diagram was constructed by DTA, XRD, MSA, as well as by measuring the microhardness and determining the density of the alloys. It was found that the InAs2Se4 -InAs2SSe3 section is a quasi-binary section of the In-As-S-Se quaternary system. Solid solutions based on InAs2Se4 at room temperature reach 10 mol % InAs2SSe3, and on the basis of InAs2SSe3 it extends to 15 mol % InAs2Se4. The lattice parameters are calculated from the region of solid solutions based on InAs2Se4 and InAs2SSe3.

Chemical interactions in the system were studied by methods of physicochemical analysis (DTA, XRD, MSA, determination of density and microhardness) and its phase diagram was constructed. It was found that the phase diagram of the system is a non-quasi-binary section of the quasi-ternary system As2Te3-Cr2Te3-CuTe. At room temperature in the system of solid solutions based on Cu3As4Te9 reaches - 5 mol. % CrAsTe3. The region of the solid solution based on the CrAsTe3 compound has not been established in practice. The dependence of the microhardness and density of alloys of the Cu3As4Te9-CrAsTe3 system on the composition has been investigated.

The phase equilibrium of the Sb2Te3-HoTe3 system was studied by means of physical and chemical analysis methods DTA, RFA, MQA, as well as density and microhardness measurements, and its phase diagram was constructed. It has been determined that the Sb2Te3-HoTe3 system is a partial quasi-binary cross section of the ternary Bi-Ho-Te system. The system undergoes a process of eutectic equilibrium and peritectic transformation. In the Sb2Te3-HoTe3 system at room temperature, of the based Sb2Te3 solid solutions extend to 4.5 mol % and of the based HoTe3 solid solutions have practically not been established.

Methods of physical and chemical analysis (DTA, MSA, RFA, as well as the definition of microhardness and density) studied the phase equilibrium in the system Pb-MnSe and built its state diagram. It is established that the Pb-MnSe system is a quasi-binary cross-section of the triple system Mn-Pb-Se and is of the eutectic type. The components Pb and MnSe form between the degenerate eutectic composition, which corresponds to 3 mol. % MnSe and melts at 310 ° C. It was found that solid solutions on the basis of MnSe in the system at room temperature reach 3.5 mol. % Pb, and solid solutions on the basis of Pb is practically not installed.

Phase and structural behaviour in the NdAlO3–EuAlO3 system has been studied in the whole concentration range. Depending on x two kinds of solid solutions Nd1‑xEuxAlO3 exist at room temperature: one with rhombohedral (x < 0.15) and one with orthorhombic (x≈ 0.15–0.20, where the co-existence of both phases was observed. First-order structural phase transitions Pbnm↔Rc has been detected in Nd1-xEuxAlO3 with x = 0.3, 0.4, 0.6 at 520 K, 627 K and 988 K, respectively. Based on the experimental and literature data, the phase diagram of the pseudo-binary system NdAlO3–EuAlO3 has been constructed.

By the methods of DTA, XRD, MSA, as well as by measuring the microhardness and determining the density of the alloys, the CuTe–As2Te3 system was studied and a phase diagram was constructed. The system state diagram is of the eutectic type and it is characterized by one chemical compound of Cu3As4Te9 composition. Compounds Cu3As4Te9 melts incongruently at 3200C. Solid solutions based on As2Te3 reaches 8 mol %, and based on CuTe solid solutions are practically not installed. Cu3As4Te9 and As2Te3 form an eutectic composition of 45 mol % As2Te3 and temperature 2650C. The results of X-ray phase analysis have shown that the Сu3As4Te9 compounds is crystallized in the tetragonal syngony with lattice parameters: a = 13.86, c = 18.05 Å, Z = 9, ρpyk. = 6.96 g/cm3, ρrent. = 7.06 g/cm3

Based on the detailed investigations of the crystal structure, phase transition behavior and local polar domains, a ferroelectric phase diagram is established in this study for the room-temperature multiferroic Dy-modified BiFeO3–PbTiO3 solid solution.
