The experimental laboratory-scale plant for the fatigue testing of samples with electrolytic coating were designed and constructed. Shows the kinematic scheme and considered the principle of the plant. The dependences for determination of test parameters and the method of testing samples with coatings under variable loads were obtained.

Study of the Biodegrability of Degradable/Biodegradable Plastic Material in a Controlled Composting EnvironmentThe objective of this study was to determine the degrability/biodegradability of disposable plastic bags available on the market that are labeled as degradable/biodegradable and those certified as compost. The investigated materials were obtained from chain stores in the Czech Republic and Poland. Seven kinds of bags (commercially available) were used in this study. One of them was a disposable bag made of HDPE and mixed with totally degradable plastic additive (TDPA additive). Another was a disposable made of polyethylene with the addition of pro-oxidant additive (d2w additive). One was labeled as 100% degradable within various periods of time, from three months up to three years, and four were certified as compostable. The test was carried out in a controlled composting environment. The biodisintegration degree of the obtained pieces was evaluated following a modified version of ČSN EN 14806 Norm "Packaging - Preliminary evaluation of the disintegration of the packaging materials under simulated composting conditions in a laboratory scale test" and a modified version of ČSN EN ISO 20200 "Plastics - Determination of the degree of disintegration of plastic materials under simulated composting conditions in laboratory-scale test" (ISO 20200:2004). The emphasis was put on determination whether the bags are degradable/biodegradable or not.

Abstract Guidance for determining a S-N based fatigue capacity (safe life design) for preloaded connectors is included in Section 5.4 of the 2019 edition of DNVGL-RP-C203 (C203-2019). This section includes guidance on the finite element model representation, finite element based fatigue analysis and determination of the connector design fatigue capacity by use of one of the following methods: Method 1 by FEA based fatigue analysis, Method 2 by FEA based fatigue analysis and experimental testing and Method 3 by full-scale connector fatigue testing. The FEA based fatigue analysis makes use of Appendix D.2 in C203-2019 (“S-N curves for high strength steel applications for subsea”). Practical use of Section 5.4 is illustrated with a case study of a fatigue tested wellhead profile connector segment test. Further developments of Section 5.4 of C203-2019 are proposed. This included acceptance criteria for use of a segment test to validate the FEA based fatigue analysis of a full-scale preloaded connector.

Abstract The determination of the drying temperature and time depends to the characteristic of the mushrooms. The use of low temperatures causes the mushrooms to not fully ripen, if the temperature is too high the protein contained in the mushrooms can be denatured and drying too long will change the color of the mushrooms to brown and change its taste. Research on the processing of oyster mushrooms as a raw material for natural flavoring, it is carried out to determine the quality flavoring produced through a descriptive test of the test parameters, color, aroma, taste and texture by variations the temperature 60¼C and 70¼C in drying time 6, 7 and 8 hours. The results of descriptive test of the sixth color of the flavoring have an intensity of attractive colors are light brown; Descriptive taste test F1, F2 and F5 have the intensity of the taste is rather pleasant, the umami is weak while F3, F4 and F6 have taste is quite good, umami tastes; Descriptive test of the six flavoring textures has a good intensity and; Descriptive test of the sixth aroma of flavoring has a slightly fragrant aroma intensity, the aroma of the material is not too smelly. The conclusion of the research is that temperature and drying time do not affect quality of color, aroma and texture. However, they affect the taste where the temperature 60¼C for 8 hours and a temperature of 70¼C within 7 and 8 hours have enough delicious taste with tasteful umami.

The present paper discusses about a simple, precise and validated method for the determination of selegiline loaded solid lipid nanoparticles. The study was carried as per the parameters laid down in ICH guidelines. Maximum wavelength of selegiline in 8:2 methanol: chloroform mixture was selected at 258nm. The method was found to be linear in the range of 200μg/mL to 1000μg/mL with correlation coefficient R2 of 0.994. Method was successfully validating as per ICH guidelines. Moreover, this method was simple, sensitive and easy to apply and can be performed at laboratory scale. Hence, the proposed method can be used for analysis of determination of selegiline loaded solid lipid nanoparticles.
