This article aims to study mediation and its various approaches and forms of action, to identify its applicability in the professional legal arena. It has been with the assumption the existence of an apparent conflict that permeates this profession whose human actions already are established, but that have been impacted by the actions not human (technology) based on the economics of information and knowledge. It is questionable C atom to Information mediation can act in the transformations suffered by law in face of the changes that the Information and Communication Technologies-ICT have caused in society. We opted for research of an applied nature, contemplating intervention in social reality, with a qualitative approach, with an exploratory objective, whose method is the inductive one, as the general conclusion is based on a set of particular observations from the literature. As a result, important theoretical elements were identified for the debate on mediation and its ability to lead in the transformation processes of advocacy.

The chapter explores patterns of ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) usage (particularly: cell phones and the Internet) among mildly intellectually disabled adolescents aged 13-17. Importance of leisure activity in life and rehabiliation of the disabled as well as a risk of digital exclusion are also underlined. The strong emphasis is put on an issue of victimization and perpetration of electronic aggression. Data were obtained from the unstructured interviews (qualitative approach). The research revealed several issues related to patterns of ICT usage. The data are presented as following categories: importance and declared range of ICT usage, ICT and its usage for communication purposes, awareness of the risks related to ICT usage, ICT usage and electronic aggression (divided in two categories: being a victim and/or being a perpetrator, ICT usage and issues related to family functioning). Such problem areas are not well recognized in either Polish or foreign literature.

This systematization of experiences in the course “Teaching Resources for Commercial Education Learning” mainly aims to analyze the teacher role and the relation with the utility and pertinence given to the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in the secretarial major. This course is part the bachelor´s degree program in Commercial Education. The methodology consisted in elaborating teaching devices with traditional technology and resources, as well as observing high school lessons where the secretarial major was taught. The observations led the students to elaborate teaching proposals. A qualitative approach was used during the systematization process. The main findings show that most of the teachers do not use ICT as teaching resources in their classes. Students pointed out to the need for having more interactive lessons with the help of technological devices. Through this systematization it is expected that teachers and students will be motivated to use and recognize the need to innovate their classes with new technologies.

There is a rising tide of `digital' citizens now clamouring for more and better government services and these expectations have profound implications on the delivery of services. Many governments have thus undertaken major transformation processes that maximize the utilization of information and communication technologies through e-government initiatives aimed at facilitating a collaborative and efficient administrative environment and enhance delivery of government services. Challenges facing e-government are varied and multi-faceted and require innovative uses of technologies to ensure that services can be provided to citizens in a seamless fashion. The article also describes the Malaysian experience in implementing e-government by highlighting several of the key programmes undertaken and the lessons learned. It is also imperative for governments to actively and continuously monitor and measure e-government outcomes against targeted key performance indicators as well as to leverage on international benchmarking to assess their position globally in order to identify and address major gaps.
