To solve the display distortion caused by the motor rotational speed changes in the long-term operation of the rotating LED multi-sector display system, the model for LED multi-sector stable display (MSSD) in variable rotational speed is proposed based on the principle of visual persistence. The stepping motor subdivision driving technology is applied to the rotating LED multi-sector display, and the equal precision frequency measurement method is used for accurate rotational speed measurement. Then the innovation adaptive kalman filter (IAKF) is researched to further enhance the robustness to eliminate noise pollution, and the relationship between the modification value caused by rotational speed and the LED linear array minimum refresh time is analysed. The rotating LED MSSD system based on LED linear array rotated by stepping motor is provided. The test results reveal the relationship between rotational speed and the LED linear array minimum refresh time, and show that the lighting position of the LED can be synchronized with the lighting state during the rotational speed fluctuation, and the error can be controlled to a low level via LED linear array minimum refresh time correction. The designed model can effectively eliminate the distortion of the rotating LED multi-sector display screen caused by the changes of the motor rotational speed, and has a very stable display effect.

AbstractSeveral decades ago Markowitz was the first to report the existence of fluctuations in the motion of the Earth’s axis with a period of about twenty-four years. This empirical term was often considered not real but only an artifact due to local effects. In this paper long-term variations and the relationship between the 30-yr Markowitz wobble and changes in the Earth’s rotational speed are briefly discussed.

ISO 10816-3 (a new standard of International Organization for Standardization) was established as vibration criteria for industrial rotating machinery based on the bearing housing vibration in situ. The appropriateness of the application of the proposed vibration criteria to pumps was discussed and studied by a work group in Japan. For the assessment, the data of vibration level in field were measured, and the effects of driver output, rotational speed, and pump type were studied. This paper describes the applicability of the new ISO criteria to the evaluation of vibration level of pumps, based on the results of the field measurements. It was found that the new boundaries of evaluation zones, which are acceptable for unrestricted long-term operation of pumps, are quite appropriate and satisfactory.

Abstract Microstructure transformations occur in the Manaurite XM cast steel tubes during long-term operation in the reformer furnace were revealed and described. The relationship between mechanical properties, an increase of internal diameter of the tube and microstructure degradation is discussed. Static tensile test was performed on two types of samples with different shapes. It has been shown differences in the results of tests and an explanation of this phenomenon.

The timeliness of application of pneumatic hammers in the deep bore tunneling in underground construction is justified. The penetration resistance forces in steel pipe driving in soil are determined. The analysis of long-term operation of adjustable capacity pneumatic hammers shows the conformity of the blow energy and the driven pipe diameter. The relationship between the unit blow energy and the open-ended pipe diameter is proposed. The main pneumatic hammer parameter to govern the machine performance is substantiated. The standard pneumatic hammers of adjustable capacity are characterized. The cases of vertical pipe driving at construction sites in Russia are described. The technological capability of construction of retention wall in soil using rolled steel, namely, I-beams, U-sections, piling bars, etc. is illustrated. The production tooling arrangements to ensure secure mounting of the hammer on the axial element driven in soil are described.

According to the principle of constant-precision frequency measurement in the field of electrical automation, the relationship of frequency measurement precision and gate time is analyzed. And the constant-precision frequency meter based on MCU and CPLD is designed in this paper. It can keep the relative error being 0.0001% constantly when frequency measuring within the range of 0.1Hz to 1MHz. Its simulation results by MUX+PLUS is presented.

The analysis and consideration of the influence of the main factors on the damage of welded metal structures during long-term operation. The relationship between the strength of the magnetic field of the Hр scattering and structural changes in structural steels that occur during cold plastic deformation to different degrees is established. It is shown that at small degrees of deformation, the change in the magnetic parameter Hр is large. As they increase, the HP value decreases and tends to the values of the Earth's magnetic field. The data of microstructural analysis of the metal of structural steels are in good agreement with the results of the passive ferrosonde method of control. A method for evaluating the effect of cold plastic deformation on the magnetic properties of metal in structural steels has been developed.
