The purpose of this study is to develop a model for tourism supply chain management in the mountainous forest villages of central Mazandaran. In this research, rural tourism supply chain management processes were detected through a systematic review and the Delphi method. To analyze the data and to build a model, ISM and Micmac methods were employed. The final model shows that knowledge management is the most basic process in the tourism supply chain in the region. This is owing to the great influence of this process and the lack of its strong dependence on other processes. Information management processes, risk, market, service performance, demand, capacity, and customer relationship have a linking role in this model. These parameters have a great influence and a strong dependence on the other parameters of the chain. Financial management is the most dependent process in the tourism chain of the region with a low influence but a high dependence on the other processes. Order management is an autonomous process in the tourism chain of the studied region. Indeed, it has both a low influence and a low dependence on the other processes of the chain.

Tourism supply chain management has become an important research topic as individual firms no longer compete as isolated entities but rather as supply chains in the tourism industry. Despite the evidence that benefits can be gained to improve profitability, competitiveness, and customer satisfaction, the research on how to manage the tourism supply chain is very limited. This research contributes to the literature by applying the theory of constraints (TOC) with systems thinking to tourism supply chain management. It proposes that the key issue in tourism supply chain management is the coordination of business activities and the TOC with systems thinking can effectively support tourism supply chain coordination of the various links and processes. The article examines the TOC performance measures and the drum–buffer–rope model in the context of tourism management and applies the focusing process of the TOC as a continuous improvement approach for tourism supply chain management. The research findings suggest that, given modifications to the TOC terminology and the principles, the TOC principles can work as an excellent approach to facilitate the tourism supply chain management.

In this paper we take a closer look at developments in supply management. The main change in this discipline seems to be (2011) that cooperation and risk management are taking over the classical silo based way of looking at business. Companies start to learn that transactions block the profits throughout the chain. Or, to put it the other way around, supply chain parties learn that sharing interests is earning much more money and that supply chains become ‘faster, cheaper and better’.

Compared to the supply chain management of other business domains, agricultural supply chain management is affected with issues such as diversity of production and demand, the bulkiness of produce, perishability, seasonality, harvest uncertainty, and climate complexity. These issues are more prominent in rural agricultural sector. Availability of mature supply chain management processes and systems can enhance the productivity of rural agricultural communities. This chapter proposes a five-stage capability maturity model for the implementation and maintenance of supply chain management processes in farm management information systems. The capability maturity model is a valuable aid to determine the digitized supply chain process' ability to consistently and continuously achieve improvement and organizational objectives. The model is proposed based on the findings of the analysis of 121 supply chain management software in the farming sector, the Capability Maturity Model by the Software Engineering Institute, and the Supply Chain Process Management Maturity Model.

The relationship in the tourism supply chain management could in turn be a catalyst towards development of the sectoring the continent. Th is paper explore areas of integration in the tourism supply chain among Regional Economic Communities (REC’s) through contextualization of a comparative advantage to increase the share of the tourism business in Africa as a catalyst to development in the African continent. This paper adopted the text analysis that is used in social science research and involves “drawing inferences from a comparative advantage theory”. In this case, large volumes of contents are analysed. Themes that emerged revealed that a well-managed tourism supply chain in the country and in the Regional Economic Communities (REC’s) could stimulate the infrastructural development and preserve natural and historical heritage. TSCM has the ability to support the society. There is a dire need to liberalize air flight and visa regimes to benefit from the share of tourism in the REC’s in the African continent. The implication is that tourism distribution can be achieved through the recognition of the nature of strategic coordination between partners in the RECS and can also improve the performance of the tourism sector in the continent. For companies that are involved in the effective supply chain, they could benefit from coordination and communication through the distribution channels that support the core service or product.

When settlement amount and settlement efficiency grow, enterprise credit will grow, financial interest rate will decrease, and corporate earnings will increase. Realizing two integration of financial supply chain management from order to settlement can improve the utilization ratio of the fund, and help enterprises better managing the capital cost, and improve the economic efficiency of enterprises. In this paper we mainly use the computer data processing method to improve the financial data processing model, and use the method of function approximation to speed up the convergence of data processing. Combined with the nonlinear fitting principle we establish interpolation function model of financial management, and use VB software to develop and design the financial supply chain management system. Finally, through calculation we obtain the economic benefit of the two integration management program. It provides technical reference for the application of computer technology in financial management.
