IoT is a chain of Physical Objects that are installed with sensors, software, and other technologies for the goal of connecting and transferring data with other devices and systems over the Internet. In many research, it has been found that the data and communication between the Internet of Things are insecure. Also, the data which is transferred from one end to the other end is accessible for a shorts distance. A discovered protocol for Data Integrity in IoT communication. A protocol for providing an environmental monitoring solution and a system that facilitates the practical experimentation of the IoT solutions. After the data is secured with the protocols and it has received an environment for the experiments, the message has to be sent over a long distance.

Applying the Internet of Things (IOT) into ecological environmental monitoring is the goal of this paper. There are several advantages of the Internet of Things (IOT) applying in ecological environment monitoring. A hierarchical monitoring system is presented, including system architecture, hardware/software design, information flow and software implementation. In the end, using carbon dioxide gas in the atmosphere for experimental purposes, in data collection and analysis. Experiments showed that this system is capable of monitoring ecologica environment, which orientate the future research of forest ecosystem.

Population growth and urbanization have led to an increase in the rate of waste production, the lack of timely and proper management of which will have adverse effects on human life and the environment. Since most of the waste management costs are spent on waste collection and transportation, it is necessary to find solutions to control the huge costs of this sector. On the other hand, today, intelligent technologies are used globally as solutions to meet challenges in various fields such as agriculture to improve agro-industrial production, transportation, and waste management, which creates a concept called smart cities. One of the categories that has changed the concept of cities and made them have easier and smarter answers to various events and needs is the "Internet of Things", in which many cases and infrastructures with new hardware technologies and Software are integrated. Waste collection is no exception to this rule and efforts have been made to make it smarter. In this research, some of the latest innovations presented globally in order to make trash smarter have been examined.

Thanks to the recent advances of miniaturization and the falling costs for sensors and also communication technologies, Internet specially, the number of internet-connected things growth tremendously. Moreover, geosensors with capability of generating high spatial and temporal resolution data, measuring a vast diversity of environmental data and automated operations provide powerful abilities to environmental monitoring tasks. Geosensor nodes are intuitively heterogeneous in terms of the hardware capabilities and communication protocols to take part in the Internet of Things scenarios. Therefore, ensuring interoperability is an important step. With this respect, the focus of this paper is particularly on incorporation of geosensor networks into Internet of things through an architecture for monitoring real-time environmental data with use of OGC Sensor Web Enablement standards. This approach and its applicability is discussed in the context of an air pollution monitoring scenario.

Recently, Internet of Things (IoT) has aroused great interest among the educational, scientific research, and industrial communities. Researchers affirm that IoT environments will make people's daily life easier and will lead to superior services, great savings as well as a nifty use of resources. Consequently, IoT merchandise and services will grow exponentially in the upcoming years. The basic idea of IoT is to connect physical objects to the Internet and use that connection to provide some kind of useful remote monitoring or control of those objects. The chapter presents the overall IoT vision, the technologies for achieving it, IoT challenges and its applications. This chapter also attempts to describe and analyze threat types for privacy, security and trust in IoT as well as shows how big data is an important factor in IoT. This chapter will expose the readers and researchers who are interested in exploring and implementing the IoT and related technologies to the progress towards the bright future of the Internet of Things

This article determines the overview of the Internet of Things (IoT) and the multifaceted applications of the IoT. The IoT is made up of hardware and software technologies. The IoT describes a world in which everyday objects are connected to a network so that data can be shared. The IoT refers to the networking of physical objects through the use of embedded sensors, actuators, and other devices that can collect and transmit information about the objects. The data amassed from these devices can be analyzed to optimize products, services, and operations. For the IoT to flourish, interoperability must apply across all parts of the system, including the transmission networks and the data being transmitted. The IoT enables the multifaceted applications ranging from the micro to the macro, and from the trivial to the critical perspectives.

Pervasive computing has been greatly supported by the internet of things. The use of internet of things has created the environment that helps in the management of the different modules that are the part of the complete system, which can work effectively without the interference with the other components of the system. The cloud environment with the internet of things can help in getting the greater extend of data sharing. Little attention has been provided to the security of the various stakeholders that are the part of the system. IoT cloud integration involved privacy, security, and personal safety risk of the stakeholders. Not only are these types of security attacks possible, but there is also the possibility of attack on the IoT components like hardware manipulation to disrupt the services. As we are on the network, all the communication attacks of network are also possible. This chapter will cover common aspects of regarding the cloud and internet of things (IOT) with 5G networks.
