Pengertian Industri otomotif merupakan suatu jenis bisnis yang berkembang cepat di negara Indonesia. Makin banyaknya kuantitas pada perusahaan otomotif merupakan salah satu bukti, bahwa industri otomotif di Indonesia telah menarik banyak pihak. Hal ini didasari fakta sebagai bahwa kekuatan ekonomi Indonesia. Penelitian ini untuk menganalisis industri otomotif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kondisi internal proses industri manufaktur dengan menggunakan value chain. Value Chain Analysis berguna dalam mengidentifikasi kegiatan utama dan bantuan yang menambah nilai produk, kemudian menganalisisnya untuk mengurangi biaya atau meningkatkan diferensiasi. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah inbound logistic, operations, outbound logistics, marketing atau sales dan service, procurement, technological development, dan human resources management yang dilakukan oleh industri otomotif. Hasil penelitian ini telah dapat mengetahui bahwa industri otomotif di Medan masih memiliki aktivitas inbound logistic, operations, outbond logistics, marketing atau sales yang kurang dapat bersaing dengan lokal maupun dalam skala internasional.   Understanding The automotive industry is a type of business that is developing fast in Indonesia. The increasing quantity of automotive companies is proof that the automotive industry in Indonesia has attracted many parties. This is based on the fact as the strength of the Indonesian economy. This research is to analyze the automotive industry. The purpose of this study is to determine the internal conditions of the manufacturing industry process by using a value chain. Value Chain Analysis is useful in identifying key activities and assistance that add value to products, then analyzing them to reduce costs or increase differentiation. The analytical methods used in the study are inbound logistics, operations, outbound logistics, marketing or sales and service, procurement, technological development, and human resources management carried out by the automotive industry. The results of this study have been able to find out that the automotive industry in Medan still has inbound logistics, operations, outbound logistics, marketing or sales activities that are less able to compete locally or internationally.

The article is dealing with two problems regards the quality management in automotive industry such as: human resources management and processes monitoring. This connection is really difficult because of entrepreneurs generally have a problem with processes monitoring. Additionally human resources management is unmeasurable, so measurement must often be done using qualitative criteria, rather than quantitative. Furthermore the regulations of the new ISO 9001 include evaluate the performance of processes. It emphasizes the importance of the problem. The study provides examples of ways to monitor the process of human resource management in small and medium-sized enterprises automotive. Examples were evaluated for suitability to assess the effectiveness of the process and to generate guidelines for improvement. The form of keeping and visualization in order to use the information for periodic reviews of the management was discussed.

The era of free trade spurred causing intense competition among companies. Competition can be based on quality, price or provide more value for its customers. Distro Screamous is a retail company enganged in the apparel industry. To get a more Distro Screamous must have a competitive advantage, one of them by analyzing the value chain in Distro Screamous. The method used is descriptive method is a method of research by collecting data systematically and accurately describe the implementation of the value chain analysis in Distro Screamous. Data collection techniques used  by interview, observation and kuesioner. Kuesioner using non probability sampling methods. Based on the results of the implementation of value chain research in Distro Screamous has been good to have an average value of 4.18. However, there are some in the implementation of the value chain that was below the average of them: Infrastructure Company, Human Resources and Operations. In the implementation of the value chain Distro Screamous has several problems that must be faced that Distro Screamous to make efforts to improve the implementation of the value chain.

ANALISIS PERENCANAAN STRATEGIK BISNIS KATEKIN DAN TANIN STUDI KASUS : PT GAMBIR AGRO FARMAKA Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor strategis yang mempengaruhi PT. GAF dalam menjalankan bisnis katekin dan tanin di masa depan, menganalisis kompetensi yang harus dimiliki untuk menjalankan bisnis katekin dan tanin, dan menyusun rancangan strategik dalam menjalankan bisnis katekin dan tanin di masa depan. Analisis rantai nilai digunakan untuk menganlisis faktor-faktor internal. Model Five Force Porter‘s Model dan Analisis PEST digunakan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor eksternal. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa untuk menjalankan bisnis katekin dan tanin, PT. GAF harus menambah kompetensi baru, seperti logistik ke dalam, marketing dan penjualan, pelayanan, manajemen sumberdaya manusia, dan pembelian. Berdasarkan data faktor-faktor internal dan eksternal, dilakukan pemetaan posisi saat ini dengan menggunakan matriks internal-eksternal (IE). Pada saat ini posisi PT. GAF dalam menjalankan bisnisnya berada pada kondisi hold and maintain. Diharapkan dalam jangka waktu lima tahun perusahaan telah memperbaiki kinerja perusahaan sehingga mampu berada pada kuadran IV atau dalam kondisi tumbuh dan kembangkan yang merupakan sasaran jangka panjang bagi perusahaan. ANALISIS PERENCANAAN STRATEGIK BISNIS KATEKIN DAN TANIN STUDI KASUS : PT GAMBIR AGRO FARMAKA Abstract The objectives of this study were to analyze strategic factors that influence catechin and tannin business to be run by PT. Gambir Agro Farmaka (GAF) in the future, to analyze competencies that must be owned by PT.GAF to run a catechin and tannin business in the future, and to design strategic planning of catechins and tannis business to be run by PT. GAF in the future. Value chain analysis was used to analyze internal factors. Five Force Porter‘s Model and PEST were used to analyze external factors. The result of the study showed that to run a catechin and tannin business, PT. GAF must add new competencies, such as, inbound logistic, marketing and sales, service, human resources management, and procurement. Then based on the data and information from internal and external factors, a mapping was done using the internal-external matrix (IE). The result of the study showed that based on the IE Matrix, PT. GAF falls into cell V, which can be managed best with hold and maintain strategy. Expected in next five years, PT. GAF has improve their company performance so that be able to stay at quadran IV or in growth and build condition which is company‘s long term goal. <p>The current situation that business organizations now is featured by different changing and developing work environment with difficulty and risk in achievement of their sustainability, continuity and success in addition to the existence of a set of great and extended challenges and competition, therefore, the organizations seek to keep pace with development through creation of ability to better use their provided resources in order to achieve sustainability and create the competitive advantage that makes them superior to the competing organizations.</p><p>The occurrence of a set of phenomena in the knowledge economy had an obvious reflection on the business organizations that started to search new mechanisms for competition and ensure survival, continuity and create the added value through using the value chain model and focusing on the main and supportive activities in this model. The role of human resources management activities was appeared as supportive activities and an essential requirement to deal with these great challenges either they were local, regional or international where the human resources activities represent the main generator to produce new ideas, development of old ideas and the participation in supporting the main activities of the organizations, enabling them to expand its market share, maximize the organization value making it in a position through which it will be able to seize the opportunities, achieve the competitive advantage, survive, continue in the current market and think to find future markets to serve customers and realize their satisfaction.</p><p>This study comes with the purpose to demonstrate the impact of human resources management activities adopted in the value chain model on organizational sustainability with its different dimensions in the Jordanian environment.</p>

Semarang City Public Works Department is a state-owned enterprise that works in the area of public services in the city of Semarang. Most of the technological conditions in the Public Works Department are still in manual data management, which is hampering business processes from going well. Therefore this research was conducted to design an Information System at the Semarang City Public Works Department using the Enterprise Architecture Planning (EAP) method which includes a SWOT analysis and Value Chain analysis. The existing framework in the Enterprise Architecture Planning (EAP) method can help align the data architecture and application architecture to get the expected results, which is achieving the business objectives of the City of Semarang Public Works Department so that business functions can run by the desired business processes. This research resulted in several proposals for the development of Information Systems and Information Technology in organizations including the development of several applications in the next 5 years.
