The purpose of this work is to provide seminar needs (seminar kit) as compliments of seminar or symposium held by university including Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU). Method of this activity included launching of our main products, namely eco-print both on paper and on fabric. In this work, eco-print products on recycle papers was used as exclusive block-note covers while eco-print products on fabric were used as tote-bag materials. There were two advantages of using these products, firstly: they were made of natural ingredients without chemical synthetic materials; and secondly the products were designed specifically; one product was not similar with the others. This activity involved two partners, namely a recycle-paper producer and a tailor who make tote-bag. Result on progress of this activity was an order for seminar kit through exhibition. During the evaluation of this project it was found that Nauli Apik USU, as a seminar kit’s producer, still depends on workers whom working manually and having individual skill. In the future, management of production should be improved.

The research aimed to apply batik motifs to strengthen the differentiation of characters in the form of adventure games that could be an interesting and effective learning medium for introducing music theory. In order to work towards achieving its objective, developing interest in music theory by using games and animations specifically to approach more people and make this project sustainable, these games were supposed to be aimed into intellectual property. Therefore to be able to make it competitive, strong differentiation was needed as so many IP characters emerged as competitors. One of the strengths that could be added to these characters was by applying local content. It was a strong differentiator and could be developed with a deeper philosophy so that it had a wealth that could be developed more widely in the future, which in this case was using batik. To achieve goal, the research used the design thinking method and qualitative methodology to collect data. The researchers collected data through the process of document research, an observation about the implementation of batik patterns in character design for animation. The result is the characters’ designs of a game to teach music theory using batik pattern application. In conclusion, the batik pattern has the potential to strengthen differences in character design.

The study of replanting models for smallholding oil palm plantation analysis is focus on smallholders and cooperatives' readiness assessment involves in replanting and business development program. The research objects are four oil palm plantantion cooperatives (KPS) in Ophir, West Pasam: KPS Perintis, KPS Indah, KPS Maju and KPS Makmur. Smallholders readiness in replanting and business development program was assessed through three criterias, which are ability to repay of debt, good faith to join community, and cooperative capacity. The results showed that smallholders in KPS Ophir are basically ready and feasible in obtaining financing and follow the oil palm replanting program, but access to financing and regulations that requires avalis become constrains for the smallholders.

In the Central German Uplands, Fagus sylvatica and Picea abies have been particularly affected by climate change. With the establishment of beech forests about 3000 years ago and pure spruce stands 500 years ago, they might be regarded as ‘neophytes’ in the Hessian forests. Palaeoecological investigations at wetland sites in the low mountain ranges and intramontane basins point to an asynchronous vegetation evolution in a comparatively small but heterogenous region. On the other hand, palynological data prove that sustainably managed woodlands with high proportions of Tilia have been persisting for several millennia, before the spread of beech took place as a result of a cooler and wetter climate and changes in land management. In view of increasingly warmer and drier conditions, Tilia cordata appears especially qualified to be an important silvicultural constituent of the future, not only due to its tolerance towards drought, but also its resistance to browsing, and the ability to reproduce vegetatively. Forest managers should be encouraged to actively promote the return to more stress-tolerant lime-dominated woodlands, similar to those that existed in the Subboreal chronozone.

Prozesua hasi aurretik egiten diren jarduera-multzoa dira aurretiko diligentziak, eta aukeran dago auzitegiei aurretiko diligentziak egiteko eskatzea, prozesua prestatzeko helburuz, demandanteak demanda aurkeztu ahal izateko datuak lortze aldera. Prozedura Zibilaren Legearen 256.1. artikuluan jasotzen da diligentzien zerrenda. Gure azterlanean, zehazki, artikulu horren 1.7. eta 1.8. idatz-zatiak aztertuko ditugu, jabetza industrial eta intelektualari buruzko datuak lortzeko itaunketa nola egin eta horiei buruzko agiriak jendaurrean nola jarri arautzen baitituzte, hurrenez hurren. The preliminary inquiry is that set of pre-trial activities, whose implementation can be obtained from the courts with the aim of preparing it, by collecting data that the future applicant needs to submit his application. The list of these procedures is contained in article 256.1 LEC. We will focus our study on those dealt with in paragraph 1.7.º and 1.8.º of the same, referring to the interview to obtain data on industrial and intellectual property, and the exhibition of documents relating to the latter, respectively.
