Supply Chain Management (SCM) aims to maximize the value of the products produced to meet customers' needs and demands. This study aims to conduct an assessment of Supply Chain Management at MS Company and suggested BPMN with adjusted business processes. The Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) approach is useful for describing complex business process modelling in detail but still easy to understand. Thus, it can minimize errors in implementing business processes. We used the study case approach to conduct this research by studying several journals related to SCM. A discussion was then held to improve the four main processes associated with SCM, and the improvement was written by using BPMN. This study explains that BPMN can be used to give detail and minimize errors so that the modified business process modelling is easy to understand and facilitates communication between business process designers and business process executors. Some MS company improvement in its SCM includes production scheduling, goods procurement, production implementation, and warehouse management. It is suggested that further observation and examination of the improved SCM is needed to prove the new SCM's success in the midst of the covid-19 pandemic.

Context: With business process modelling, companies and organizations can gain explicit control over their processes. Currently, there are many notations in the area of business process modelling, where Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) is denoted as the de facto standard. Aims: The aim of this research is to provide the state-of-the-art results addressing the acceptance of BPMN, while also examining the purposes of its usage. Furthermore, the advantages, disadvantages and other interests related to BPMN were also investigated. Method: To achieve these objectives, a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) and a semantic examination of articles? citations was conducted. Results: After completing SLR, out of a total of 852 articles, 31 were deemed relevant. The majority of the articles analyzed the notation and compared it with other modelling techniques. The remainder evaluated general aspects of the notation, e.g. history and versions of the standard, usage of the notation or tools. Conclusion: Our findings demonstrate that there are empirical insights about the level of BPMN acceptance. They suggest that BPMN is still widely perceived as the de facto standard in the process modelling domain and its usage is everincreasing. However, many studies report that only a limited set of elements are commonly used and to this end, several extensions were proposed. The main purpose of BPMN remains the description of business processes.

The paper describes the principle of the reengineering of supply chain management integrated scheduling processes in order to increase in efficiency of business process and decrease the decision-making time at collision of plan-fact deviations. The basic concept of business-processes reengineering is analyzed. The experience of reengineering of supply chain integrated scheduling business processes for the oil and gas branch is presented. The bottlenecks of the current practice were revealed. The purpose of this paper is to carry out recommendations for improving business processes based on an analysis of the current realization of the process, his provision with information systems and data flows.

Purpose The value of big data in supply chain management (SCM) is typically motivated by the improvement of business processes and decision-making practices. However, the aspect of value associated with big data in SCM is not well understood. The purpose of this paper is to mitigate the weakly understood nature of big data concerning big data’s value in SCM from a business process perspective. Design/methodology/approach A content-analysis-based literature review has been completed, in which an inductive and three-level coding procedure has been applied on 72 articles. Findings By identifying and defining constructs, a big data SCM framework is offered using business process theory and value theory as lenses. Value discovery, value creation and value capture represent different value dimensions and bring a multifaceted view on how to understand and realize the value of big data. Research limitations/implications This study further elucidates big data and SCM literature by adding additional insights to how the value of big data in SCM can be conceptualized. As a limitation, the constructs and assimilated measures need further empirical evidence. Practical implications Practitioners could adopt the findings for conceptualization of strategies and educational purposes. Furthermore, the findings give guidance on how to discover, create and capture the value of big data. Originality/value Extant SCM theory has provided various views to big data. This study synthesizes big data and brings a multifaceted view on its value from a business process perspective. Construct definitions, measures and research propositions are introduced as an important step to guide future studies and research designs.

Purpose - The purpose of this paper is to present a business process measurement framework for the evaluation of a corpus of business processes modelled in different business process modelling approaches. The results of the application of the proposed measurement framework will serve as a basis for choosing business process modelling approaches. Design/methodology/approach - The approach uses ideas of the Goal Question Metric (GQM) framework to define metrics for measuring a business process where the metrics answer the questions to achieve the goal. The Weighted Sum Method (WSM) is used to aggregate the measure of attributes of a business process to derive an aggregate measure, and business process modelling approaches are compared based on the evaluation of business process models created in different business process modelling approaches using the aggregate measure. Findings - The proposed measurement framework was applied to a corpus of business process models in different business process modelling approaches and is showed that insight is gained into the effect of business process modelling approach on the maintainability of a business process model. From the results, business process modelling approaches which imbibed the principle of separation of concerns of models, make use of reference or base model for a family of business process variants and promote the reuse of model elements performed highest when their models are evaluated with the proposed measurement framework. The results showed that the applications of the proposed framework proved to be useful for the selection of business process modelling approaches. Originality - The novelty of this work is in the application of WSM to integrate metric of business process models and the evaluation of a corpus of business process models created in different business process modelling approaches using the aggregate measure.

The paper deals with integration of supply chains and specifically concentrates on the importance of distribution of information among various companies in the chain. It summarizes the most important concepts of supply chain management. Both technological changes and organizational improvements are essential for effective integration of supply chains. Therefore the paper shows how business process modelling can be used to analyze the existing processes and help in renovation and integration of those processes, with a special emphasis on an inter-organizational level. It is shown on a practical example, how sharing and strategic utilization of information in a supply chain can radically improve execution of vital business processes and help integrate processes in different companies. That leads to shorter cycle times, lower costs and inventory levels and better quality for the final customer.

Supply chain management provides a new kind of enterprise relationship management for ensuring the survival and development of enterprises in modern market competition, but with the development of business, information explosion, and the acceleration of business globalization, supply chain management will become increasingly complex. This article provides a method to construct the enterprise supply chain systems from the perspective of the business process management. It utilizes service-oriented architecture to achieve the componentization of each business unit, which makes chain system adapt to the changes of business processes rapidly and deploy these changes into IT system. Ultimately, IT systems can respond to supply chain system in time and then reduce operation costs and time when enterprise is carrying out business restructuring and process optimization.

Model-Based Supply Chain Management The paper is focused on application of modelling and simulation approaches in supply chain management. First, essentials of multi echelon supply chain management are discussed including the functionality of supply chain information systems. Then, a variety of modelling and simulation approaches are analyzed in the context of supply chain management, for example, simulation, stochastic programming, business process modelling and reference model. Finally, some illustrative examples are provided on application of simulation and modelling approaches to supply chain management.

Due to the expressiveness of BPMN for representing the business processes, it has replaced EPC as a de-facto process modelling standard. As such, enterprises require to transform their existing EPC business process models to BPMN to keep their competitiveness. ARIS Architect & Designer, as a popular business process modelling tool, provides a model transformation feature, e.g., EPC to BPMN. For the sake of quality, it must guarantee that the resulting model has syntactic correctness and syntactic completeness. However, there is currently limited scientific approach available to evaluate the quality of the model transformation in ARIS Architect & Designer. This study proposes an evaluation of model transformation in ARIS Architect/Designer based on syntactic correctness and syntactic completeness criteria using an experimental approach. The result shows the model transformation in ARIS Architect/Designer has not completely fulfilled the criteria. The result opens further research challenges to improve the quality of EPC to BPMN model transformation.

The uncertainties in Supply Chain Management (SCM) have increased the business requirement changes, which increase the complexity in the supply chain processes (SCP). As a result, different technologies of IT system have been emerged based on companies' business processes. Hence, managing the business process is crucial in SCM in which process modeling plays key role for analyzing and redesigning of process. Consequently, many methodologies in SCM have been developed to support the requirements for the modeling of SCP. However, they cannot cover the details of the business process in the lower level, i.e. the coordination of the SCP and their interaction, which can be addressed by service-oriented approach. Therefore, this paper aims at proposing a service-oriented methodology, which provides a new approach for supporting the business process architecture layers. The findings prove that the methodology narrows the gap between process analysts and information system developers, using the combination of modeling languages.
