Swarm intelligence algorithms are natural-inspired computational methods that mimic the social interaction between creatures to solve certain problems. Swarmative computational architecture (SCA) is a novel nomenclature proposed by the authors to present the use of various swarm algorithms in solving architectural problems. It includes three main aspects: form generation/adaptation, performance evaluation, and optimization. This study provides a systematic review and comparative analysis for the major publications within the review scope. The correspondence between dynamic subjects and the objective functions for the optimization process is presented. Particularly, dynamic subjects such as building formation parameters and objective functions such as occupant comfort and energy consumption. The main results and criteria are categorized into the design approach, case study, form generation/adaptation, and performance evaluation/optimization. Finally, this review presents the current trends and highlights the gaps in the use of swarm algorithms to solve architectural engineering problems.

The present study aims to investigate the obstacles to implementing the strategic action plan in the light ofperformance evaluation at the College of Education, Jeddah University. The author adopted the descriptive analyticalapproach. The population comprised all forms and documents relevant to the domains, namely learning andeducation, post-graduate studies, social responsibility, and funding. The results showed that the achievement rate ofthe domains was 40%, 18%, 0.04%, and 73%, respectively. The obstacles to learning and education related toawareness of the course and its design, difficulty of students’ interaction, and form filling objectively. The obstaclesto post-graduate studies domain were relevant to publishing in reviewed and standardized journals due to JeddahUniversity, lack of action handbook for mission and, post-graduate studies based on mission regulation of the SaudiUniversities. The obstacles to social responsibility were relevant to funding in terms of allocating a budget foractivating the social responsibility projects and upgrading the college’s infrastructure. The obstacles to funding andinvestment were based on the needs of civil society associations to launch new programs that meet their needs andprovide the College of Education with investment return.

The study of the spatial-temporal pattern and social performance of urban public services is a basic task for achieving urban fairness and justice. Through spatial analysis and social performance evaluation, this study explores the evolution of spatial-temporal patterns and the social performance of community sports and fitness venues in Shanghai from 1982 to 2019. The results show that the construction of Shanghai’s community sports and fitness venues presents the evolution pattern of “urbanization-suburbanization-reurbanization”. The center of construction has always been in the urban area and first moved toward the south and then toward the north. Government investment was the main source of funds for the construction of venues, and social investment has been steadily growing. The number and area of multiple types of venues has increased significantly, including trails, gymnasiums, and courts. The overall service coverage radius of Shanghai’s community sports and fitness venues has been significantly increased, and the regional equality between the core and peripheral areas has been obviously improved. The overall per capita service location entropy has not been significantly improved. The old city center and the peripheral area have always been the low-value areas, and the old city center is surrounded by high-value areas. The “low-high-low” three-circle spatial structure continues to exist, but around the old city center, the scope of the high-value area has expanded markedly. There was a significant optimization of social performance from 1999 to 2009. The social performance of the community sports and fitness venues in urban areas is better than that in suburban areas, but the optimization of social performance in suburban areas is greater than that in urban areas. The above analysis is expected to provide references for rationally arranging urban sports and fitness spaces, enhancing the fairness of urban public services, improving the quality of residents’ lives, and assisting the implementation of the “Healthy China” national strategy.

The article presents the methodological tools for the evaluation the executives’ performance ensuring the companies’ sustainable development: the essence and the quantitative assessment concept of the organizational leaders’ performance; the performance conceptual apparatus features and assessment. The performance evaluation concept is proposed on the basis of various management theories combining, taking into account the stage of the organization’s life cycle. The performance evaluation stages are shown in five blocks. An indicative approach is used to assess performance, it is quantified as an indicator which integrates particular performance indicators that characterize the goals achievement for the main managing parameters (finance, patient relations, business processes, staff training and growth, and corporate management). The indicative approach features to the integrated commercial organization heads performance assessment are shown using commercial healthcare company as an example. The lifecycle stage is reflected by modification the number, composition, weights and standards value of assessment indicators. The necessity of BSC building is justified as a reflection of the social orientation and the profit generation sustainable development for the medical organization.

Abstract In this qualitative study, the trends analysis based on scoping review and interview used to identify the driving forces affecting the future of research performance evaluation. MAXQDA version 10 and thematic analysis were used to analyze the interviews and documents. The social trends included the research social impact, the social development of society, increasing researchers’ awareness of the research evaluation importance, lack of research culture in society, the gender gap in society, and employing human resources. The technological trends were the development of information and communication technology, scientometric indicators, and open science. The economic trends and driving forces included not emphasize on the oil economy merely, research grant, economic evaluation of research, and research budget. The environmental trends and driving forces were increased emphasis on green information, using the green environment components in research institutes, and a favorable organizational environment. The political trends and driving factors included scientific diplomacy, a country's domestic policy, war and political sanctions, research performance evaluation system, optimal research policy, and increased research collaboration. The results showed that various social, technological, economic, environmental, and political factors and indicators must be included and normalized in the national and international research performance evaluation system.

This research will reference TBP and Landscape performance method together, use the problem-seeking method and quantitative methods, to examine the restoration performance in environment, economy and society aspect of a project in Taiwan Street Area. The results show the social benefit is higher than others. We expect the study is drawing people’s attention to the relationships among the three categories of benefits, so that future policies and preservation development will enhance compatible benefits, reduce compatible benefits, reduce conflicts, and contribute toward sustainability.
