Abstract: The purpose of this study is to improve the creative thinking skills and mathematical communication of VII grade junior high school students by applying the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model and to find out whether students 'creative thinking skills have a positive correlation with students' mathematical communication skill. This research was conducted at SMP XYZ in Bogor. The activities in this learning process are designing mathematics board games. Mix method as the research methodology that is used with data collection techniques by interviewing 5 respondents, questionnaires and observations. Qualitative analysis is done by triangulation. Whereas for quanitative analysis using data obtained from the rubric instrument of creative thinking skills and mathematical communication indicators. The implementation of PjBL could improve students' creative thinking skills and mathematical communication. Quantitatively using the Pearson correlation statistical test, it is known that creative thinking skills have a positive relationship with creative thinking skills.

The main objective of this research is to produce junior high school Physics teaching materials oriented to a simple practical tool that can be used to foster junior high school students 'creative thinking skills, with the specific aim of knowing the indicators of junior high school students' creative thinking skills that can be grown through the use of a guided inquiry learning model assisted by a simple practicum tool. This type of research is a quasi-experimental research with the design of Equivalent Pretest-Posttest Design (Design of Prates-Pascates Equivalent). This research was conducted at the Labschool Junior High School of Tadulako University where  the class VIII students being the research subjects. The research instrument used was an essay test and observation sheet. The data analysis technique used was quantitative data analyzed by inferential statistics, calculating the significance of the differences in the average of both groups of samples and qualitative data analyzed by using the stages of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results showed that a guided inquiry learning model assisted by a simple practicum tool could foster the creative thinking skills of the students of Labschool UNTAD Junior High School in the indicators of flexible thinking, fluent thinking and originality.

This research was aimed to describe the effectiveness of learning materials taht developed using problem solving model to facilitate junior high school students’ creative thinking skills on global warming. This research was done because the problem solving model’s learning materials to facilitate students’ creative thinking skill was less available. Learning in schools was tend to emphasize the aspects of knowledge only, whereas creative thinking skill was an important skill possessed in the 21st century. Applying creative thinking skill in problem solving would generate a lot of ideas that were useful in finding solution. The learning materials were developed using 3D model and one group pretest-posttest design was used as the trial design. The subject in this study was learning materials that was implemented on 7th grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Kediri. The results showed that the students' creative thinking skills both in general and each indicator increased. Based on the results and discussion of the study, it can be concluded that the learning materials using problem solving method were effective to facilitate junior high school students’ creative thinking skills on global warming.

Creative thinking skill is one of the 21 st century skills targets in implementing the 2013 curriculum. However, the fact is that 90% of 70 junior high school students reveal that they need textbooks to improve their creative thinking skills, namely textbooks with a brain-based learning approach using comic strips. Meanwhile, 88% of the 27 IPA teachers stated that they had never used comics to improve creative thinking. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of textbooks with a brain-based learning approach equipped with comic strips for creative thinking. The design of the research used was one group pretest-posttest design with four meetings. The results showed an increase in learning outcomes and creative thinking skills. The results can be seen from the N-gain value of the first meeting is 0.66, with medium criteria. The second meeting is 0.71, with the high criteria. The third meeting is 0.71, with the high criteria. The fourth meeting is 0.73 with the high criteria. The mean creative thinking results from the first meeting to the four meetings were 80, 81.11, 82.78, and 80.56. So it can be concluded that textbooks with a brain-based learning approach effectively improve learning outcomes and creative thinking.

The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in creative thinking skills of junior high school students who use learning by using the problem posing approach and the scientific approach to classroom learning, especially in mathematics. Quasi experiment is this type of research with the control group pre test and post test design. The research was conducted at one of the junior high schools in Cimahi City. As many as 62 students of class VII being sampled in this study consisted of 30 students in the experimental class with problem posing learning and 32 students in the control class with scientific learning. The testing in this study uses IBM SPSS version 22 software. The conclusions from the results of this study are 1) Increasing the ability of mathematical creative thinking by using a problem posing approach better than the scientific approach, 2) A problem posing approach if it is well planned for effectiveness when learning takes place, and 3) Students who are inaccurate in solving the problem of the ability to think creatively because they do not understand the problems asked in the questions. This can be seen from several responses of students who are incomplete in giving responses
