The present article shows the most significant steps to be taken in the process of the development of an automated system for fuel tank level monitoring and machinery location checking to optimize accessibility and mobile tracking. Fuel or energy consumption is converted with money spending and machinery in operation during different tasks. The maintenance and service costs add up to the final price of the product making it less attractive if the customer must pay more for each acquired unit of produce. Thus, optimization is required in the production system to lower the costs of energy and operation of working machinery. The main objective of the present paper is the research, development, and testing the process of an automated system designed with the purpose of controlling fuel tank level and machinery location management to improve accessibility and to optimize mobile tracking. The secondary objective consists of the installation of a volumetric sensor in the fuel tank.

The aim of this paper is to present a model of energy efficient scheduling for series production systems during operation, including setup and shutdown activities. The flow shop system together with setup, shutdown times and energy consumption are considered. Production tasks enter the system with exponentially distributed interarrival times and are carried out according to the times assumed as predefined. Tasks arriving from one waiting queue are handled in the order set by the Multi Objective Immune Algorithm. Tasks are stored in a finite-capacity buffer if machines are busy, or setup activities are being performed. Whenever a production system is idle, machines are stopped according to shutdown times in order to save energy. A machine requires setup time before executing the first batch of jobs after the idle time. Scientists agree that turning off an idle machine is a common measure that is appropriate for all types of workshops, but usually requires more steps, such as setup and shutdown. Literature analysis shows that there is a research gap regarding multi-objective algorithms, as minimizing energy consumption is not the only factor affecting the total manufacturing cost—there are other factors, such as late delivery cost or early delivery cost with additional storage cost, which make the optimization of the total cost of the production process more complicated. Another goal is to develop previous scheduling algorithms and research framework for energy efficient scheduling. The impact of the input data on the production system performance and energy consumption for series production is investigated in serial, parallel or serial–parallel flows. Parallel flow of upcoming tasks achieves minimum values of makespan criterion. Serial and serial–parallel flows of arriving tasks ensure minimum cost of energy consumption. Parallel flow of arriving tasks ensures minimum values of the costs of tardiness or premature execution. Parallel flow or serial–parallel flow of incoming tasks allows one to implement schedules with tasks that are not delayed.

Creation of automated technical and technological support of the system of washing milking installations, which intensifies the process without additional costs, becomes of paramount importance in solving the problem of improving the quality of milk. The purpose of the research is to conduct a production inspection of the developed automated system for flushing milk lines of milking parlors. On the basis of the received mathematical models of process of work of washing of milking installations with air and hydro-injectors, and also the photodetector of definition of pollution of the milk line of the milking parlor the automatic system of its washing is developed. energy consumption. As a result of industrial inspection of automatic milking line washing systems, it was found that the lowest value of microbiological contamination of milk (number of mesophilic aerobic and facultative-anaerobic microorganisms) is observed for the variant with adaptive washing duration and adaptive mode of air injectors. For UDE-16 the Christmas tree makes 82 thousand CFU/cm3 (extra grade of milk), and for UDM-100 "Bratslavchanka" – 248 thousand CFU/cm3 (the highest grade of milk). As a result of production inspection of the automatic milking line washing system of milking installations, it was found that the lowest values of water consumption are observed for the variant with the shortest washing duration (5 min/10 min/ 5 min) For UDE-16 the Christmas tree makes 185 l, and for UDM-100 "Bratslavchanka" – 268 l. The lowest value of energy consumption is observed for the basic version of the flushing system (without additional equipment). For UDE-16 the Christmas tree makes 13,5 kWh, and for UDM-100 "Bratslavchanka" – 21,4 kWh.

The infrastructure industry has a large demand for crude oil. Crude oil is explosive, flammable, volatile, and easy to accumulate static and other properties. So, the reservoir area is large and the route is far, which leads to the monitoring station being placed away from the tank area of the operating layer. This requires that the scene of the information is timely and effective in transmission to the monitoring station, and instructions are given quickly. In this paper, the design of ultrasonic tank gauge system is put forward. The system uses AT89S52 as the controller, to achieve the construction site tank level measurement function by the combination of hardware and software. And a variety of error correction measures are given to improve the accuracy. The system can be widely used in various types of infrastructure construction site oil depot management to meet the real needs of the tank level monitoring. Meet the requirements of centralized management of infrastructure projects, provide data for the highest management system, and support day-to-day business management and decision making.

To form a smart production system, the effect of energy and machines’ failure rate plays an important role. The main issue is to make a smart production system for complex products that the system may produce several defective items during a long-run production process with an unusual amount of energy consumption. The aim of the model is to obtain the optimum amount of smart lot, the production rate, and the failure rate under the effect of energy. This study contains a multi-item economic imperfect production lot size energy model considering a failure rate as a system design variable under a budget and a space constraint. The model assumes an inspection cost to ensure product’s quality under perfect energy consumption. Failure rate and smart production rate dependent development cost under energy consumption are considered, i.e., lower values of failure rate give higher values of development cost and vice versa under the effect of proper utilization of energy. The manufacturing system moves from in-control state to out-of-control state at a random time. The theory of nonlinear optimization (Kuhn–Tucker method) is employed to solve the model. There is a lemma to obtain the global optimal solution for the model. Two numerical examples, graphical representations, and sensitivity analysis of key parameters are given to illustrate the model.
