Tanjung Region is one of the severely damaged areas by the Lombok earthquake on June 22, 2013. Therefore, to anticipate the similar events, it is necessary to perform microzonation in this region. Objective of this study is to map the distribution of the physical quantities related to the vulnerability of area included the frequency characteristics, amplification factor, and soil vulnerability index. The results showed that the value of the resonant frequency in this region ranged from 0.401 to 16.92 Hz. In general, the lower frequency was 0.40 to 5.91 Hz contained 87 data (71%) were located in the north of the region, which meant that that area has a high vulnerability. While based on the H/V amplitude and vulnerability index, the zone that suffered severe damage on the earthquake of June 22, 2013, showed a different uncertainty of amplification and vulnerability index value.Wilayah Tanjung adalah salah satu daerah yang mengalami rusak parah akibat gempa Lombok pada tanggal 22 Juni 2013. Oleh karena itu, untuk mengantisipasi kejadian serupa, maka perlu untuk melakukan mikrozonasi di daerah tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memetakan distribusi besaran fisis yang terkait dengan kerentanan suatu daerah terhadap gempa bumi yang meliputi frekuensi respon, amplitudo getaran tanah dan indeks kerentanan tanah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai frekuensi resonansi di wilayah ini berkisar antara 0,401-16,92 Hz. Secara umum, frekuensi respon di daerah ini rendah yaitu 0,40-5,91 Hz dengan jumlah 87 data (71%) yang terletak di utara dari wilayah tersebut, yang berarti bahwa bagian utara wilayah memiliki kerentanan yang tinggi. Meskipun berdasarkan nilai amplitudo H/V dan indeks kerentanan, daerah yang mengalami kerusakan parah saat gempa 22 Juni 2013 menunjukkan pola amplifikasi dan indeks kerentanan yang sangat tidak biasa.

The paper at hand discusses a novel method of miniaturization of antenna design using metamaterials. We suggest a novel method to improve frequency characteristics while reducing antenna size. This method is based on the connection of this element resonant two split rings resonator. The resonant frequency, return loss, bandwidth, radiation pattern, gain, directivity, electromagnetic field, and current supplied by the proposed antenna are the parameters addressed in this study. CST software generates all simulation results.

In this paper, piezoelectric sensing elements are used to assist in the study and analysis of ceramic art process optimization and visual quantization characteristics. A series piezoelectric element impedance sensor is designed based on the resonant frequency characteristics of the series piezoelectric element. Combining the resonant frequency characteristics of the series piezoelectric element and the basic principle of the impedance method, a multisensing impedance method based on the series piezoelectric element impedance sensor is proposed. The feasibility of the multisensing impedance method for monitoring the grout compactness was verified experimentally, and the basic principle of the method was further investigated by finite element simulation. The vase-type porcelain vessels were classified according to symmetry elements to find the characteristic points, the abdominal morphology was used as the basis for classification, and the screened samples were extracted from the contours to exclude the influence of other factors on the vessel shape. By the symmetrical elements of each type of ware, the classification principle of the ware type was designed and divided into six types, and each type was further subdivided into various types to establish a typological map of Qing dynasty bottle porcelain. The information entropy redundancy that describes the uniformity of the code appearance probability and the visual redundancy that describes the human eye’s sensitivity to image content or details are all entry points that can be considered for image coding. The experimental results show that the LBP-HOG fusion features can digitally express the information of ancient ceramic ornamentation and dig and verify the evolution of ceramic ornamentation with the times from the digital quantity. The GRNN model has an excellent performance in processing small samples of ancient ceramic data.

The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of material property changes in the spinal components on the resonant frequency characteristics of the human spine. Several investigations have reported the material property sensitivity of human spine under static loading conditions, but less research has been devoted to the material property sensitivity of spinal biomechanical characteristics under a vibration environment. A detailed three-dimensional finite element model of the human spine, T12– pelvis, was built and used to predict the influence of material property variation on the resonant frequencies of the human spine. The simulation results reveal that material properties of spinal components have obvious influences on the dynamic characteristics of the spine. The annulus ground substance is the dominant component affecting the vertical resonant frequencies of the spine. The percentage change of the resonant frequency relative to the basic condition was more than 20% if Young’s modulus of disc annulus is less than 1.5 MPa. The vertical resonant frequency may also decrease if Poisson’s ratio of nucleus pulposus of intervertebral disc decreases.

A pulsed diaphragm piezoelectric pump using centrifugal force is introduced in this paper. It utilizes centrifugal force in the swing motion of a vibrating tube as the driving force, and to input and output liquid continuously at first bending resonant frequency. The piezoelectric pump based on this principle is expected to effectively coordinate the high frequency characteristics of piezoelectric materials and low frequency characteristics of check valves. Resonant frequency of the pump is studied. A prototype pump was fabricated and tested. Experimental results show that the pump can hold and discharge very precise volume of liquid in every pulse, and can pump tap water at a flow rate of 6.12ml/min under a backpressure of 0.3kPa.

In this paper, a simulation model for the propagation of transformer PD pulse has been constructed,and the propagation of PD in a real substation were investigated. We also studied the frequency characteristics of currents at different detection positions, and the influences of substation network are analyzed in aspects of system resonant frequency. The optimal detection position and the optimal measuring band are proposed. The results show that, the calculated range of substation network and capacitive apparatus play the key roles in impedance characteristics.
