It is of a great importance in modern agriculture to study fast, automatic, inexpensive and accurate method of diagnosing plant diseasesTherefore, timely and accurately diagnosis of the disease in the fields is one of the most important factors in dealing with plant diseases. For this reason, in the present study, the image processing method study, has been examined for diagnosing the two important diseases of rice and tomato, brown spots and leaf blasts. In this study, firstly the data section is treated using improved k-means segmentation, after preprocessing. Secondly, comprehensive features are extracted and the disease areas are demarcated. An improved genetic algorithm is used in the feature selection step. Finally, images are categorized using the k-nearest neighbor’s algorithm (k-NN) classifier. The accuracy of the proposed method for the rice data set is 99.12 and for the tomato data set is 97.29, which shows a very good performance compared to other methods.

Data mining is a process of knowledge discovery to extract the interesting, previously unknown, potentially useful, and nontrivial patterns from large data sets. Currently, there is an increasing interest in data mining in traffic accidents, which makes it a growing new research community. A large number of traffic accidents in recent years have generated large amounts of traffic accident data. The mining algorithms had a great role in determining the causes of these accidents, especially the association rule algorithms. One challenging problem in data mining is effective association rules mining with the huge transactional databases, many efforts have been made to propose and improve association rules mining methods. In the paper, we use the RapidMiner application to design a process that can generate association rules based on clustering algorithms.

Lung infection or sickness is one of the most common acute ailments in humans. Pneumonia is one of the most common lung infections, and the annual global mortality rate from untreated pneumonia is increasing. Because of its rapid spread, pneumonia caused by the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) has emerged as a global danger as of December 2019. At the clinical level, the COVID-19 is frequently measured using a Computed Tomography Scan Slice (CTS) or a Chest X-ray. The goal of this study is to develop an image processing method for analysing COVID-19 infection in CT Scan patients. The images in this study were preprocessed using the Hybrid Swarm Intelligence and Fuzzy DPSO algorithms. According to extensive computer simulations, the persistent learning strategy for CT image segmentation using image enhancement is more efficient and adaptive than the Medical Image Segmentation (MIS) method. The findings suggest that the proposed method is more dependable, accurate, and simple than existing methods.

The dispersal of digital media due to the fast evolution of networked multimedia systems has created an essential need for copyright prompting technologies that can protect multimedia objects such as text, images, audio and videos from copyright ownership. This paper proposes digital image watermarking algorithm for copyright protection based on discrete wavelet transform, discrete cosine transform and singular value decomposition. In this method a watermark is embedded into the low frequency sub-band of a host image, after subjecting the watermarked image to various attacks like Gaussian noise, rotation sharpening, noise and pepper salt and speckle noise etc., we extract the originally inserted watermark images from LL sub-band by Truncated singular value decomposition and compare them on the basis of their mean square error, peak signal to noise ratio and normalized correlation values. Experimental results are provided to illustrate that the proposed scheme is the robustness of the technique on wide set of attacks.

The paper at hand discusses a novel method of miniaturization of antenna design using metamaterials. We suggest a novel method to improve frequency characteristics while reducing antenna size. This method is based on the connection of this element resonant two split rings resonator. The resonant frequency, return loss, bandwidth, radiation pattern, gain, directivity, electromagnetic field, and current supplied by the proposed antenna are the parameters addressed in this study. CST software generates all simulation results.

Today, cardiovascular disease has become an epidemic. Statistics show that one person dies every 33 seconds due to cardiovascular disease. It is estimated that 33% of men and 10% of women have a heart attack before the age of 60. Arrhythmias are abnormal beats that cause the heart to beat too fast or too slow to pump. Automatic electrocardiogram analysis is critical to the diagnosis and treatment of heart patients. There are several learning methods for analyzing ECG signals to diagnose arrhythmias. In the proposed method, the heart rate signals are decomposed into different sub bands using the Tunable Q-Factor Wavelet Transform (TQWT) method, then the features are extracted and modified using classification with the aim of better classifying and separating data in the process of identifying the clinical features of the class. They are classified so that normal people and people with cardiac arrhythmias can be distinguished from their ECG signals. The results showed that the proposed method classifies the ECG signal with 99.25% accuracy. Since accuracy in diagnosing cardiac arrhythmias in medicine is a vital and important factor, so the proposed method can be very effective for the decision of cardiologists.

Modern radio communication services transmit signals from an earth station to a high-altitude station, space station or a space radio system via a feeder link while in Global Systems for Mobile Communication (GSM) and computer networks, the radio uplink transmit from cell phones to base station linking the network core to the communication interphase via an upstream facility. Hitherto, the Single-Carrier Frequency Division Multiple Access (SC-FDMA) has been adopted for uplink access in the Long-Term Evolution (LTE) scheme by the 3GPP. In this journal, the LTE uplink radio resource allocation is addressed as an optimization problem, where the desired solution is the mapping of the schedulable UE to schedulable Resource Blocks (RBs) that maximizes the proportional fairness metric. The particle swarm optimization (PSO) has been employed for this research. PSO is an algorithm that is very easy to implement to solve real time optimization problems and has fewer parameters to adjust when compared to other evolutionary algorithms. The proposed scheme was found to outperform the First Maximum Expansion (FME) and Recursive Maximum Expansion (RME) in terms of simulation time and fairness while maintaining the throughput.

Skin cancer is the most common cancer, accounting for 75% of all skin cancers worldwide. Malignant melanoma is the most invasive type of skin cancer, which is deadly. Some techniques have been investigated to diagnose skin diseases using skin tissue classification and diagnosis models and skin recognition approaches using colors based on image retrieval methods. In this regard, image processing techniques and classification methods are intelligent. The purpose of this method, diagnosing melanoma skin cancer using image processing. In the proposed method, after collecting the dataset, the boundary to separate the skin lesion from the background was specified. Then in the next step, the analysis was performed using Empirical wavelet transform (EWT). Then the color, texture, and shape features were extracted. In the next step, the feature was selected by Gray Wolf meta-heuristic algorithm using ranking models and the disease was classified into two categories, namely normal and abnormal. The database used in this study contains 594 dermatoscopic images with a resolution of 512 × 768 pixels, 476 images with normal spots, and 88 images with abnormal spots caused by melanoma. The evaluation results revealed that the proposed method had an accuracy of 97.25, indicating its significant performance compared to other methods. The contribution of the results of the proposed method can be very useful and valuable in the future for early detection of skin cancer.
