In this article, we extend the original TODIM (Portuguese acronym for Interactive Multi-Criteria Decision Making) method to the 2-tuple linguistic neutrosophic fuzzy environment to propose the 2TLNNs TODIM method. In the extended method, we use 2-tuple linguistic neutrosophic numbers (2TLNNs) to present the criteria values in multiple attribute group decision making (MAGDM) problems. Firstly, we briefly introduce the definition, operational laws, some aggregation operators and the distance calculating method of 2TLNNs. Then, the calculation steps of the original TODIM model are presented in simplified form. Thereafter, we extend the original TODIM model to the 2TLNNs environment to build the 2TLNNs TODIM model, our proposed method, which is more reasonable and scientific in considering the subjectivity of DM’s behaviors and the dominance of each alternative over others. Finally, a numerical example for the safety assessment of a construction project is proposed to illustrate the new method, and some comparisons are also conducted to further illustrate the advantages of the new method.

With respect to multiple attribute group decision making (MAGDM) problems, in which the attribute weights take the form of real numbers, and the attribute values take the form of fuzzy linguistic scale variables, a decision analysis approach is proposed. In this paper, we develop a new fuzzy linguistic induce OWA (FLIOWA) operator and analyze the properties of it by utilizing some operational laws of fuzzy linguistic scale variables. A method based on the FLIOWA operators for multiple attribute group decision making is presented. Finally, a numerical example is used to illustrate the applicability and effectiveness of the proposed method.

In this paper, we focus on new methods to deal with multiple attribute group decision-making (MAGDM) problems and a new comparison law of interval-valued dual hesitant fuzzy elements (IVDHFEs). More explicitly, the interval-valued dual hesitant fuzzy 2nd-order central polymerization degree (IVDHFCP2) function is introduced, for the case that score values of different IVDHFEs are identical. This function can further compare different IVDHFEs. Then, we develop a series of interval-valued dual hesitant fuzzy power Heronian aggregation operators, i.e., the interval-valued dual hesitant fuzzy power Heronian mean (IVDHFPHM) operator, the interval-valued dual hesitant fuzzy power geometric Heronian mean (IVDHFPGHM) operator, and their weighted forms. Some desirable properties and their special cases are discussed. These proposed operators can simultaneously reflect the interrelationship of aggregated arguments and reduce the influence of unreasonable evaluation values. Finally, two approaches for interval-valued dual hesitant fuzzy MAGDM with known or unknown weight information are presented. An illustrative example and comparative studies are given to verify the advantages of our methods. A sensitivity analysis of the decision results is analyzed with different parameters.

In this article, we combine some fundamental theories of the Pythagorean 2-tuple linguistic sets (P2TLSs) with EDAS method and design the Pythagorean 2-tuple linguistic number (P2TLN) EDAS (P2TLN-EDAS) method for multiple attribute group decision making (MAGDM) issue. Firstly, the basic concepts of P2TLSs are introduced. Next, two aggregation operators of P2TLN are defined, and then the calculation steps of EDAS method are listed briefly. Furthermore, P2TLN-EDAS method is given for MAGDM problems and computing steps are proposed in detail. Finally, a computational example related to construction safety assessment is used to expound the effectiveness of the designed method. Meanwhile, we also carried out some comparative analysis between P2TLN-EDAS method and P2TLWA/P2TLWG operators and another P2TLN-TODIM method. The results show that P2TLN-EDAS method derives the same best alternative as P2TLWA, P2TLWG operators and P2TLN-TODIM method.

In this paper, we investigate the multiple attribute group decision making (MAGDM) problems in which both the attribute weights and the expert weights take the form of real numbers, attribute values take the form of interval intuitionistic trapezoidal fuzzy numbers. Firstly, some operational laws of interval intuitionistic trapezoidal fuzzy numbers are introduced. Then some new aggregation operators including interval intuitionistic trapezoidal fuzzy ordered weighted geometric (IITFOWG) operator and interval intuitionistic trapezoidal fuzzy hybrid geometric (IITFHG) operator are proposed and some desirable properties of these operators are studied, such as commutativity, idempotency and monotonicity. An IITFWG and IITFHG operators-based approach is developed to solve the MAGDM problems in which both the attribute weights and the expert weights take the form of real numbers and attribute values take the form of interval intuitionistic trapezoidal fuzzy numbers. Finally, some illustrative examples are given to verify the developed approach and to demonstrate its practicality and effectiveness.

Aiming at multiple attribute group decision making (MAGDM) problems, especially the attribute values of 2-tuple linguistic numbers and the interrelationships between each attribute needing to be considered, this paper proposes a new method of analysis. Firstly, we developed a few new aggregation operators, like the 2-tuple linguistic dependent weighted Maclaurin symmetric mean (2TLDWMSM) operator, the 2-tuple linguistic dependent weighted generalized Maclaurin symmetric mean (2TLDWGMSM) operator, and the 2-tuple linguistic dependent weighted geometric Maclaurin symmetric mean (2TLDWGeoMSM) operator. In the above operators, Maclaurin symmetric mean (MSM) operators can take the relationships between each attribute into account and dependent operators can mitigate the unfair parameters’ impact on the overall outcome, in which those ‘‘incorrect’’ and ‘‘prejudiced’’ parameters are distributed with low weights. Next, a method used by the 2TLDWMSM, 2TLDWGMSM, and 2TLDWGeoMSM operators for MAGDM is introduced. Finally, there is an explanative example to confirm the proposed approach and explain its availability and usefulness.

Facing with a sea of fuzzy information, decision makers always feel it difficult to select the optimal alternatives. Probabilistic hesitant fuzzy sets (PHFs) utilize the possible numbers and the possible membership degrees to describe the behavior of the decision makers. though this environment has been introduced to solve problems using different methods, this circumstance can still be explored by using different method. This paper’ s aim is to develop the MABAC (Multi-Attributive Border Approximation area Comparison) decision-making method which based on cumulative prospect theory (CPT) in probabilistic hesitant fuzzy environment to handle multiple attributes group decision making (MAGDM) problems. Then the weighting vector of attributes can be calculated by the method of entropy. Then, in order to show the applicability of the proposed method, it is validated by a case study for buying a house. Finally, through comparing the outcome of comparative analysis, we conclude that this designed method is acceptable.

In this article, we combine the original VIKOR model with a triangular fuzzy neutrosophic set to propose the triangular fuzzy neutrosophic VIKOR method. In the extended method, we use the triangular fuzzy neutrosophic numbers (TFNNs) to present the criteria values in multiple criteria group decision making (MCGDM) problems. Firstly, we summarily introduce the fundamental concepts, operation formulas and distance calculating method of TFNNs. Then we review some aggregation operators of TFNNs. Thereafter, we extend the original VIKOR model to the triangular fuzzy neutrosophic environment and introduce the calculating steps of the TFNNs VIKOR method, our proposed method which is more reasonable and scientific for considering the conflicting criteria. Furthermore, a numerical example for potential evaluation of emerging technology commercialization is presented to illustrate the new method, and some comparisons are also conducted to further illustrate advantages of the new method.

The design of mechanism scheme is the primary phase and the creative and challenging part in product lifecycle. In this paper, we research the multiple attribute group decision making (MAGDM) problems for evaluating the design of mechanism scheme with uncertain linguistic variables. We employ the uncertain linguistic weighted harmonic mean (ULWHM) operator to aggregate the uncertain linguistic information corresponding to each alternative and get the overall value of the alternatives, then rank the alternatives and select the most desirable one(s) by using the formula of the degree of possibility for the comparison between two uncertain linguistic variables. Finally, a practical example for evaluating the design of mechanism scheme is used to illustrate the developed procedures.

The partitioned Bonferroni mean (PBM) operator can efficiently aggregate inputs, which are divided into parts based on their interrelationships. To date, it has not been used to aggregate linguistic Pythagorean fuzzy numbers (LPFNs). In this paper, we extend the PBM operator and partitioned geometric Bonferroni mean (PGBM) operator to the linguistic Pythagorean fuzzy sets (LPFSs) and use them to develop a novel multiattribute group decision-making model under the linguistic Pythagorean fuzzy environment. We first define some novel operational laws for LPFNs, which take into consideration the interactions between the membership degree (MD) and nonmembership degree (NMD) from two different LPFNs. Based on these novel operational laws, we put forward the interaction PBM (LPFIPBM) operator, the weighted interaction PBM (LPFWIPBM) operator, the interaction PGBM (LPFIPGBM) operator, and the weighted interaction PGBM (LPFWIPGBM) operator. Then, we study some properties of these proposed operators and discuss their special cases. Based on the proposed LPFWIPBM and LPFWIPGBM operators, a novel multiattribute group decision-making model is developed to process the linguistic Pythagorean fuzzy information. Finally, some illustrative examples are introduced to compare our proposed methods with the existing ones.
