We introduce an iterative algorithm which converges strongly to a common element of fixed point sets of nonexpansive mappings and sets of zeros of maximal monotone mappings. Our iterative method is quite general and includes a large number of iterative methods considered in recent literature as special cases. In particular, we apply our algorithm to solve a general system of variational inequalities, convex feasibility problem, zero point problem of inverse strongly monotone and maximal monotone mappings, split common null point problem, split feasibility problem, split monotone variational inclusion problem and split variational inequality problem. Under relaxed conditions on the parameters, we derive some algorithms and strong convergence results to solve these problems. Our results improve and generalize several known results in the recent literature.

In this paper, based on the very recent work by Nandal et al. (Nandal, A.; Chugh, R.; Postolache, M. Iteration process for fixed point problems and zeros of maximal monotone operators. Symmetry 2019, 11, 655.), we propose a new generalized viscosity implicit rule for finding a common element of the fixed point sets of a finite family of nonexpansive mappings and the sets of zeros of maximal monotone operators. Utilizing the main result, we first propose and investigate a new general system of generalized equilibrium problems, which includes several equilibrium and variational inequality problems as special cases, and then we derive an implicit iterative method to solve constrained multiple-set split convex feasibility problem. We further combine forward–backward splitting method and generalized viscosity implicit rule for solving monotone inclusion problem. Moreover, we apply the main result to solve convex minimization problem.

We at first raise the so called split feasibility fixed point problem which covers the problems of split feasibility, convex feasibility, and equilibrium as special cases and then give two types of algorithms for finding solutions of this problem and establish the corresponding strong convergence theorems for the sequences generated by our algorithms. As a consequence, we apply them to study the split feasibility problem, the zero point problem of maximal monotone operators, and the equilibrium problem and to show that the unique minimum norm solutions of these problems can be obtained through our algorithms. Since the variational inequalities, convex differentiable optimization, and Nash equilibria in noncooperative games can be formulated as equilibrium problems, each type of our algorithms can be considered as a generalized methodology for solving the aforementioned problems.

We introduce an iterative method to approximate a common solution of split variational inclusion problem and fixed point problem for nonexpansive semigroups with a way of selecting the stepsizes which does not need any prior information about the operator norms in Hilbert spaces. We prove that the sequences generated by the proposed algorithm converge strongly to a common element of the set of solutions of a split variational inclusion and the set of common fixed points of one-parameter nonexpansive semigroups. Moreover, numerical results demonstrate the performance and convergence of our result, which may be viewed as a refinement and improvement of the previously known results announced by many other researchers.

We introduce an iterative sequence for finding a common element of the set of fixed points of a nonexpansive mapping and the solutions of the variational inequality problem for three inverse-strongly monotone mappings. Under suitable conditions, some strong convergence theorems for approximating a common element of the above two sets are obtained. Moreover, using the above theorem, we also apply to find solutions of a general system of variational inequality and a zero of a maximal monotone operator in a real Hilbert space. As applications, at the end of the paper we utilize our results to study some convergence problem for strictly pseudocontractive mappings. Our results include the previous results as special cases extend and improve the results of Ceng et al., (2008) and many others.

AbstractIn this paper, we introduce a regularization method for solving the variational inclusion problem of the sum of two monotone operators in real Hilbert spaces. We suggest and analyze this method under some mild appropriate conditions imposed on the parameters, which allow us to obtain a short proof of another strong convergence theorem for this problem. We also apply our main result to the fixed point problem of the nonexpansive variational inequality problem, the common fixed point problem of nonexpansive strict pseudocontractions, the convex minimization problem, and the split feasibility problem. Finally, we provide numerical experiments to illustrate the convergence behavior and to show the effectiveness of the sequences constructed by the inertial technique.

We introduce and analyze a hybrid extragradient-like viscosity iterative algorithm for finding a common solution of a systems of generalized equilibrium problems and a generalized mixed equilibrium problem with the constraints of two problems: a finite family of variational inclusions for maximal monotone and inverse strongly monotone mappings and a fixed point problem of infinitely many nonexpansive mappings in a real Hilbert space. Under some suitable conditions, we prove the strong convergence of the sequence generated by the proposed algorithm to a common solution of these problems.

In this paper, we consider a split equality fixed point problem for asymptotically quasi-pseudo contractive operators which includes split feasibility problem, split equality problem, split fixed point problem etc, as special cases. Furthermore we propose a new algorithm for solving the split equality fixed point problem, and prove a weak and strong convergence theorem. The results obtained in this paper generalize and improve the recent ones announced by many others.

Abstract In this paper, we are concerned with the split equality common fixed point problem. It is a significant generalization of the split feasibility problem, which can be used in various disciplines, such as medicine, military and biology, etc. We propose an alternating iteration algorithm for solving the split equality common fixed point problem with L-Lipschitz and quasi-pseudo-contractive mappings and prove that the sequence generated by the algorithm converges weakly to the solution of this problem. Finally, some numerical results are shown to confirm the feasibility and efficiency of the proposed algorithm.
