In this paper, we introduce three new iterative methods for finding a common point of the set of fixed points of a symmetric generalized hybrid mapping and the set of solutions of an equilibrium problem in a real Hilbert space. Each method can be considered as an combination of Ishikawa's process with the proximal point algorithm, the extragradient algorithm with or without linesearch. Under certain conditions on parameters, the iteration sequences generated by the proposed methods are proved to be weakly convergent to a solution of the problem. These results extend the previous results given in the literature. A numerical example is also provided to illustrate the proposed algorithms.

The purpose of this paper is to study the convergence analysis of an intermixed algorithm for finding the common element of the set of solutions of split monotone variational inclusion problem (SMIV) and the set of a finite family of variational inequality problems. Under the suitable assumption, a strong convergence theorem has been proved in the framework of a real Hilbert space. In addition, by using our result, we obtain some additional results involving split convex minimization problems (SCMPs) and split feasibility problems (SFPs). Also, we give some numerical examples for supporting our main theorem.

We propose two Mann-type subgradient-like extra gradient iterations with the line-search procedure for hierarchical variational inequality (HVI) with the common fixed-point problem (CFPP) constraint of finite family of nonexpansive mappings and an asymptotically nonexpansive mapping in a real Hilbert space. Our methods include combinations of the Mann iteration method, subgradient extra gradient method with the line-search process, and viscosity approximation method. Under suitable assumptions, we obtain the strong convergence results of sequence of iterates generated by our methods for a solution to HVI with the CFPP constraint.

In this paper, we solve the quaternionic Dirac equation [Formula: see text] in the real Hilbert space, and we ascertain that their free particle solutions set comprises eight elements in the case of a massive particle, and a four elements solutions set in the case of a massless particle, a richer situation when compared to the four elements solutions set of the usual complex Dirac equation [Formula: see text]. These free particle solutions were unknown in the previous solutions of anti-Hermitian quaternionic quantum mechanics, and constitute an essential element in order to build a quaternionic quantum field theory [Formula: see text].

The primary objective of this study is to introduce two novel extragradient-type iterative schemes for solving variational inequality problems in a real Hilbert space. The proposed iterative schemes extend the well-known subgradient extragradient method and are used to solve variational inequalities involving the pseudomonotone operator in real Hilbert spaces. The proposed iterative methods have the primary advantage of using a simple mathematical formula for step size rule based on operator information rather than the Lipschitz constant or another line search method. Strong convergence results for the suggested iterative algorithms are well-established for mild conditions, such as Lipschitz continuity and mapping monotonicity. Finally, we present many numerical experiments that show the effectiveness and superiority of iterative methods.

Abstract It is well-known that the use of Bregman divergence is an elegant and effective technique for solving many problems in applied sciences. In this paper, we introduce and analyze two new inertial-like algorithms with Bregman divergence for solving pseudomonotone variational inequalities in a real Hilbert space. The first algorithm is inspired by Halpern -type iteration and subgradient extragradient method and the second algorithm is inspired by Halpern -type iteration and Tseng's extragradient method. Under suitable conditions, the strong convergence theorems of the algorithms are established without assuming the Lipschitz continuity and the sequential weak continuity of any mapping. Finally, several numerical experiments with various types of Bregman divergence are also performed to illustrate the theoretical analysis. The results presented in this paper improve and generalize the related works in the literature.

In a real Hilbert space $H$ we consider the following singularly perturbed Cauchy problem ... We study the behavior of solutions $u_{\varepsilon\delta}$ in two different cases: $\varepsilon\to 0$ and $\delta \geq \delta_0>0;$ $\varepsilon\to 0$ and $\delta \to 0,$ relative to solution to the corresponding unperturbed problem. We obtain some {\it a priori} estimates of solutions to the perturbed problem, which are uniform with respect to parameters, and a relationship between solutions to both problems. We establish that the solution to the unperturbed problem has a singular behavior, relative to the parameters, in the neighbourhood of $t=0.$

Abstract We consider the Koopman operator generated by an invertible transformation of a space with a finite countably additive measure. If the square of this transformation is ergodic, then the orthogonal Koopman operator is a symplectic transformation on the real Hilbert space of square summable functions with zero mean. An infinite set of quadratic invariants of the Koopman operator is specified, which are pairwise in involution with respect to the corresponding symplectic structure. For transformations with a discrete spectrum and a Lebesgue spectrum, these quadratic invariants are functionally independent and form a complete involutive set, which suggests that the Koopman transform is completely integrable.
