The article presents a method of designing the process of interaction of three enterprises in a single production system. The matrix method of dynamic programming establishes calculation formulas for design parameters: the share of the flow of gross output, which is sent by enterprises for the development of their own production. The quadratic functional is accepted as a criterion of optimality, the physical meaning of which is the expenditure of funds to support the stable functioning of the process. In this case, the final product of the production system, sent to external consumption should be maximum. The software product is created and the optimum decision is received. Modeling in the modeling system of MVTP 3.7 of the process of interaction of three enterprises for three variants is performed. The option with optimal design parameters provides an increase in the production capacity of enterprises and corresponds to the area of rational values of the shares of intermediate products of enterprises, which is established by modeling.

The paper presents the task scheduling issue, which main aim is to establish a proper sequence of tasks, that would maximize the utilization of companys production capacity. According to the literature sources, the presented sequencing problem, denoted as CSP (Car Sequencing Problem) belongs to the NP-hard class, as has been proven by simple reduction from Hamiltonians Path problem. Optimal method of solution has not yet been found, only approximate solutions have been offered, especially from the range of evolutionary algorithms. Regardless of specific production system, while considering reception of new tasks into the system, current review of the state of the system is required in order to decide whether and when a new order can be accepted for execution. In this paper, the problem of task scheduling is limited to the specific existing mixed-model production system. The main goal is to determine the effective method of creation of task sequence. Through the use of computational algorithms, and automatic analysis of the resulting sequence, rates of production are able to be checked in a real time, and so improvements can be proposed and implemented.

Potential weaving industry nationally as one of the SMEs so far have not unearthed the maximum due to the development of production management systems. Therefor,  PT Retota Sakti has prompted company management to enhance the creative abilities tenunnya always accompanied by the application of more precise marketing strategies that correspond with the development of competition situation that occurred in the weaving industry. The purpose of this study was (1) Identify and evaluate the position of Marketing PT Retota Way by internal and external factors, and (2) Develop appropriate marketing strategies in developing future business. Analyzed in a descriptive study to emphasize the aspect of marketing, covering demand products to meet market needs; offer, which gives an overview about the availability of products in the process of cultivation and the balance of factors between demand and supply prices. To examine the marketing strategies carried out by quantitative SWOT analysis. The results of factor identification strategy, there are five key factors of internal strengths and weaknesses of four key factors. While the external environment there are five key factors of opportunities and threats of five factors. IFE values ​​2.842 and 2.530 EFE value, and also the combination of these two values ​​in the matrix IE indicates that the marketing strategy lies in the quadrant of five, namely the growth and stability, where the strategies that can run the market penetration, product development and market. QSP matrix analysis results obtained with the most attractive strategy to be implemented is to increase production capacity.

Abstract The paper follows studies on simulation of three-dimensional mechanical dynamic systems with the help of sparse matrix and stiff integration numerical algorithms. For sensitivity analyses and the application of numerical optimization procedures it is substantial to calculate the effect of design parameters on the system behaviour by means of derivatives of state variables with respect to the design parameters. For static and quasi static analyses the computation of these derivatives from the governing equations leads to a linear equation system. The matrix of this set of linear equations shows to be the Jacobian matrix required in the numerical integration process solving the system of governing equations for the mechanical system. Thus the factorization of the matrix perfomed by the numerical integration algorithm can be reused solving the linear equation system for the state variable sensitivities. Some example demonstrate the simplicity of building the right hand sides of the linear equation system. Also it is demonstrated that the procedure proposed neatly fits into a modular concept for simulation model building and analysis.

Based on the reconstruction project for Gorno-Shorsky branch of JSC “Evrazruda” developed by JSC “Giproruda” to maintain the enterprise’s production capacity of 6 million tons per year, the shaft “Skipovoy” should be sunk from the level of 115 m to the level of 85 m. Due to the fact that the reconstruction period was to be shortened, the employees of LLC “SibGorComplex Engineering” together with the Underground and Mine Construction Department of T.F. Gorbachev Kuzbass State Technical University developed several variants of new design of wedge pentices for vertical mine shaft sinking under hoisting operations. The results of studies of the dynamic loading impact on the design of safety devices in skip shaft sinking are presented in the article. Based on the method of designing the force action essentials for the emergency skip dumping, the functions allowing determining the value of the impact on the main structural elements of pentices completely bridging over the shaft cross-section that can be used to substantiate the design parameters of new wedge pentices.

Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) as additives in mixed matrix membranes (MMMs) for gas separation have gained significant attention over the past decades. Many design parameters have been investigated for MOF based MMMs, but the spatial distribution of the MOF throughout MMMs lacks investigation. Therefore, magnetically aligned and enriched pathways of zeolitic imidazolate framework 8 (ZIF−8) in Matrimid MMMs were synthesized and investigated by means of their N2 and CO2 permeability. Magnetic ZIF−8 (m–ZIF−8) was synthesized by incorporating Fe3O4 in the ZIF−8 structure. The presence of Fe3O4 in m–ZIF−8 showed a decrease in surface area and N2 and CO2 uptake, with respect to pure ZIF−8. Alignment of m–ZIF−8 in Matrimid showed the presence of enriched pathways of m–ZIF−8 through the MMMs. At 10 wt.% m–ZIF−8 incorporation, no effect of alignment was observed for the N2 and CO2 permeability, which was ascribed anon-ideal tortuous alignment. However, alignment of 20 wt.% m–ZIF−8 in Matrimid showed to increase the CO2 diffusivity and permeability (19%) at 7 bar, while no loss in ideal selectivity was observed, with respect to homogeneously dispersed m–ZIF−8 membranes. Thus, the alignment of MOF particles throughout the matrix was shown to enhance the CO2 permeability at a certain weight content of MOF.

Flex LNG Limited is a producer of units for the production, storage and off-take of liquefied natural gas (LNG). It currently has four of these units committed for construction by Samsung Heavy Industries in Korea, utilising the SPB LNG containment system. The world’s first floating liquefaction unit will be delivered to Flex in 2012. Floating LNG facilities have unique potential for monetising uncommitted gas reserves. In June 2008 Flex and Rift PLC entered into a co-operation agreement under which they agreed to work together to develop a floating liquefaction project offshore Papua New Guinea (PNG). The project will utilise Rift’s gas reserves and one of Flex LNG’s floating liquefaction units. Annual production capacity will be 1.5 million tonnes of LNG and start-up is targetted for 2012. The paper will be a case study of this project including: critical path, project structure and contractual matrix, upstream reserves and facilities, feed gas quantity and quality, pipeline issues and, key design parameters and liquefaction operations for the LNG producer. The paper will also cover: direct and indirect stakeholders in the project; economics and financing; PNG-specific issues such as geography, permitting, fiscal regime, local employment opportunities, marine conditions, infrastructure and sovereign risk; LNG demand in the Pacific and LNG marketing and off-take arrangements.

This article addresses the problem of the joint policy of production and maintenance under constraint of outsourcing. The production system considered brings together two companies; the principal represented by a machine Md, while the subcontractor represented by a machine Ms. Our production system aims to satisfy a constant and continuous demand for a single product type. Indeed, outsourcing is justified by the lack of production capacity. However, the main objective is to determine simultaneously for each period, the age of preventive maintenance, the optimal stock threshold level, the maximum capacity of subcontractor and its unit cost of production, to better satisfy the customer's need. The last two parameters encourage an optimal choice of subcontractor, while minimizing the total cost generated by the contractor, including the costs of maintenance, production, storage and shortage. The results show that the proposed model performs quite well and opens new research direction for future improvements.
