The mobile cloud computing, that enables the mobile device application to be hosted, equipped and constructed by the cloud-computing has become more prominent among wide range of application and the concerns that range either in the small-scale or the large-scale. This lead to the overcrowded accessing of the mobile clouds which lead to insufficiency of resources and the latency in the service provisioning. The possible researches emerged with the solutions of load balancing, but the in capabilities in the traditional load balancing developed were in compatible with the mobile cloud computing. So the paper details the survey on the virtual load balancing techniques available and their employment in the mobile cloud computing to improve the balancing of the influx traffic that are addressed towards the mobile cloud computing.

Mobile devices are gaining high popularity due to support for a wide range of applications. However, the mobile devices are resource constrained and many applications require high resources. To cater to this issue, the researchers envision usage of mobile cloud computing technology which offers high performance computing, execution of resource intensive applications, and energy efficiency. This chapter highlights importance of mobile devices, high performance applications, and the computing challenges of mobile devices. It also provides a brief introduction to mobile cloud computing technology, its architecture, types of mobile applications, computation offloading process, effective offloading challenges, and high performance computing application on mobile devises that are enabled by mobile cloud computing technology.

Mobile cloud computing provides an opportunity to restrict the usage of huge hardware infrastructure and to provide access to data, applications, and computational power from every place and in any time with the use of a mobile device. Furthermore, MCC offers a number of possibilities but additionally creates several challenges and issues that need to be addressed as well. Through this work, the authors try to define the most important issues and challenges in the field of MCC technology by illustrating the most significant works related to MCC during recent years. Regarding the huge benefits offered by the MCC technology, the authors try to achieve a more safe and trusted environment for MCC users in order to operate the functions and transfer, edit, and manage data and applications, proposing a new method based on the existing AES encryption algorithm, which is, according to the study, the most relevant encryption algorithm to a cloud environment. Concluding, the authors suggest as a future plan to focus on finding new ways to achieve a better integration MCC with other technologies.

Mobile Cloud Computing (MCC) has become an important research area due to rapid growth of mobile applications and emergence of cloud computing. MCC refers to integration of cloud computing into a mobile environment. Cloud providers (e.g. Google, Amazon, and Salesforce) support mobile users by providing the required infrastructure (e.g. servers, networks, and storage), platforms, and software. Mobile devices are rapidly becoming a fundamental part of human lives and these enable users to access various mobile applications through remote servers using wireless networks. Traditional mobile device-based computing, data storage, and large-scale information processing is transferred to “cloud,” and therefore, requirement of mobile devices with high computing capability and resources are reduced. This chapter provides a survey of MCC including its definition, architecture, and applications. The authors discuss the issues in MCC, existing solutions, and approaches. They also touch upon the computation offloading mechanism for MCC.

The mobile device has become an essential utility tool for more effective computation, storage, and power, making it suitable for mobile cloud computing. The cloudlet is used as a connectivity establishment link between the mobile device and the cloud. The objective of this paper is to focus on mobile cloud computing facilitated with cloudlet-based computation. The latter possesses inter-cloudlet communication, which had been proposed within the mobile cloudletbased computing environment framework. The same had been further enhanced to scalable critical parameter yield of resources framework. Nevertheless, this was not taken to the criteria, which would impact the yield factor, in terms of availability. The present research endeavor aims to improve the algorithm by considering some more criterion and provides a new mobile cloud computing framework for data execution as a service using cloudlet. The outcome shows a positive result in the cloud- cloudlet based computation.

Cloud Computing is a very viable data storage structure where the users can store and access the data from anywhere. Cloud computing use is increasing at a very rapid pace nowadays. But as cloud allows us data accessibility quite easily data security is a major concern and is an emerging area of study. Other issues related to cloud computing are data privacy and internet dependency. On the other cloud computing also has wide range of benefits over traditional storage and accessibility environment such as scalability, flexibility and resource utilization. We have worked in the area of mobile cloud computing to analyse and solve the problems of anomaly attacks. Our work focuses on preventing the adaptive anomaly attacks and some other security issues of cloud computing

With the help of cloud computing Mobile Cloud Computing (MCC) overcomes the limitations of a mobile device such as security, performance and environment. But, security of the data stored in the cloud is a very challenging issue. Since the cloud cannot be fully trusted, data stored in the cloud is not fully secured. Integrity of the stored data is very important for the data owner. Therefore, it is a big problem to maintain the integrity of the data stored in the cloud environment. This chapter discusses existing schemes for data integrity in the mobile cloud environment. In this chapter a scheme has been proposed for enhancing data integrity in Mobile Cloud Environment. To make integrity checking fast the size of the data file is used. It has also been shown that how fast the integrity loss can be detected if the file size is considered. Finally, the proposed scheme is compared with some of the existing scheme.
