The logic model, a tool that has been around since the 1970s, was defined by Bickman (1987) in the late 1980s and became popularized in the 1990s. Bickman saw the logic model as a presentation of how the program will work to solve identified problems under certain conditions. Basically, a logic model shows a graphic depiction of a program, its goals, and underlying assumptions and a plan of action and outcomes. This model is helpful for the school- based practitioner to clearly articulate critical service learning (CSL) goals to school administrators. According to the Kellogg Foundation, a logic model provides a visual way to present a program in a systematic fashion (Kellogg, 2004). In this instance, it is a visual map of the CSL project depicting the project’s goals. This includes articulating the understanding of CSL and why it is believed it will work; providing a concise format to share with others; and conveying the relationships among the resources available to operate the program, the activities planned, and the desired changes or results. In sum, the logic model represents a graphic depiction of CSL and its benefits. One benefit of using the logic model is that it helps the school- based practitioner think through the CSL project- planning process in its entirety as youth develop and plan activities, identify needed resources, and anticipate what is needed to evaluate it. Practitioners may use the logic model in a couple of ways: (a) The logic model can demonstrate the benefits of the CSL project to administration to gain buy- in; and (b) once the program is launched, the logic model may be used to incorporate what the youth envision. The school- based practitioner must remain true to the CSL tenets of allowing youth to plan and design the project. Perhaps one of the nicest benefits of a logic model is that it creatively illustrates the CSL program’s components to stakeholders in a succinct way. A completed logic model allows stakeholders to quickly review the program’s goals, activities, and projected outcomes; furthermore, it presents a summary of complex theory as understandable units.

Temperature study and model development related to estimation is an essential and important task not only for a human life but also for animal life, agriculture, tourism, water reservation and evaporation, and many other fields. Regression is considered a dominant prediction model which is heavily used in forecasting in spite of the difficulties related to the number of available measurements, the order of the model and the nonlinearity of the data. In this article, the purpose is to use a nonlinear model structure to forecast the temperature at the airport of Mumbai city in India using the fuzzy logic technique. The datasets were collected for twelve months period starting from 1st of January 2009 to 31st of December at a weather underground in India. The datasets were divided into two parts, 288 days (80%) of the data for training and the remaining 72 days (20%) for testing. The results obtained and the error calculated using the fuzzy logic model were satisfactory.

Basically, multi processes and activities involve in the piping construction (PC) projects needs to be followed before the project is handed over to the customer or client, called multi-project construction environment (MPCE). In PC, the MPCEs exist where more than one project is managed simultaneously within an organization become as a common phenomenon faced by managers that highly possible to face with uncertainty issues, lead to project completion late delivery (PCLD). Dealing with uncertainty in MPCE is a common, though managing uncertainty in PC become more complicated rather that others industry. Therefore, the objective of this paper is to develop the simulation logic model to deal with the uncertainty for PC projects that focused on environmental issues (EI). This result will be proceed for uncertainty model development in the next phase of this research. The simulation logic model development began with qualitative data collection towards the case study, to get all the activities throughout the water supply company. Then, the business model is developed with 14 activities before integrated with the uncertainty factors in EI. The integration of business model and uncertainty factors generated the simulation logic model as main contribution. Once the uncertainty model completely developed, it will provide a medium for PC that confront with MPCE to monitor the uncertainties and prepared to encounter any matters in future. Therefore, it is important to pursue in providing the PC company to all inclusive-model, and helping them in managing and tackling the uncertainty, especially for EI.

The purpose of the study is to develop a model of information and methodological competencies of a vocational training teacher. The research hypothesis is as follows: if the most important components of the information and methodological competency of a vocational training teacher are identified, they will become elements of the competency model, since competence means that a person has the appropriate competency. The research methods are analysis of literary sources, modeling, the method of expert assessments, and experimental work. The study resulted as follows: the concepts of competencies and competence have been separated; the components of information and communication competencies of a vocational training teacher have been identified; the type of model is justified; the importance of the components of information and methodological competence is determined based on a functional study of the practices of teachers; the model of information and methodological competencies is presented as a structure that combines the components of information and communication competencies and indicators of the importance of their components.

Logic model is a tool for telling the program in order to facilitate the evaluation. In a simple way, this model consists of the interrelation among the input-activity-output-outcome elements. This research aims to analyse the development of logic model for evaluating the human resources develoment in energy and mineral resources sectors related to the gender mainstreaming issue. It is developed through left-toright approach or forward logic. The result of study is the initial model based on the model development iteratively to achieve such outcomes the closest to the real conditions in gender-responsive human resources development. Expected program outcomes with increasing women’s participation in the following human resource development activities such as training, technical assistance, and the communication forum are increasing competence and role of women in the management of energy and mineral resources sector. This model can be used to evaluation process and enhanced in accordance with the needs and inputs from the stakeholders.
