Basically, multi processes and activities involve in the piping construction (PC) projects needs to be followed before the project is handed over to the customer or client, called multi-project construction environment (MPCE). In PC, the MPCEs exist where more than one project is managed simultaneously within an organization become as a common phenomenon faced by managers that highly possible to face with uncertainty issues, lead to project completion late delivery (PCLD). Dealing with uncertainty in MPCE is a common, though managing uncertainty in PC become more complicated rather that others industry. Therefore, the objective of this paper is to develop the simulation logic model to deal with the uncertainty for PC projects that focused on environmental issues (EI). This result will be proceed for uncertainty model development in the next phase of this research. The simulation logic model development began with qualitative data collection towards the case study, to get all the activities throughout the water supply company. Then, the business model is developed with 14 activities before integrated with the uncertainty factors in EI. The integration of business model and uncertainty factors generated the simulation logic model as main contribution. Once the uncertainty model completely developed, it will provide a medium for PC that confront with MPCE to monitor the uncertainties and prepared to encounter any matters in future. Therefore, it is important to pursue in providing the PC company to all inclusive-model, and helping them in managing and tackling the uncertainty, especially for EI.

The construction industry has many underlying causes of uncertainty that impact on late delivery of project completion's performance as well as in time management. Most of researchers proposed a modelling and simulation techniques to solve these uncertainties problem nevertheless not tackling the uncertainty in environmental issues (EI). Yet, the environmental issues were also leading significant deviations for project completion performance, which means it is important to be studied. Therefore, the comprehensive sturvey is discussed in this paper in purpose to develop the uncertainty modeling model on late delivery in environmental issues. The development of conceptual model through a comprehensive survey involving piping's construction industry for water supply company with multi-project construction environment is developed to show the relationship for each cause and affects that underlying uncertainty on late project delivery in environmental issues. Further research is to verify and validate the conceptual model as has been analyzed through fractional factorial design with ANOVA, through the development of uncertainty model via modeling and simulation using MATLAB.

Every industry keen to maximize their company profit by fulfils the customer’s satisfaction by perform a very good project deliverable. However, very limited researches on uncertainty in environmental issues (EI) probably could turn as a biggest problem for company, especially in late delivery of project completion for construction industry (CI). Uncertainty factors could be mapped by many causes and affects which known or unknown, statically to totally ignorance. Previously, most of research on uncertainty have been model their factors of uncertainties but pay no attention to the EI, whereas in the real cases all the factors must controlled and manageable even it is in-deterministic or non-realistic. Therefore, the modelling of uncertainty factors in EI on late delivery for CI is very important to studied, and it will be considered to be used as the guidance for decision makers when they are facing of the problems that related to uncertainties. This paper will purpose the conceptual model on progress to the modelling of uncertainty factors in EI on late delivery for CI. The uncertainty of environmental can split into two categories; acts of God and acts of humans.

Business Model Innovation is the key to develop and improve the company's strategy to survive and sustain. Nevertheless, the existing Batik communities often find it difficult to innovate their business model. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the nine components of the business model canvas, in Batik communities, Giriloyo and Kricak Kidul village, Yogyakarta. Second, develop an innovation on business model, Ruby Batik start-up. The evaluation research method used was descriptive qualitative case study approach. The data were collected through questionnaires and in-depth interviews. The analytical model used the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product). The results showed that nine components of the business model canvas of the batik communities, Giriloyo and Kricak Kidul, Yogyakarta were still less and need improvement and innovation. Innovation of the business model canvas component became the development basis of social entrepreneurship business model, Rubi Batik start-up. The startup business model development, Rubi Batik, was directed to the commercial mission and social impact mission.

Abstract Many ideas flow into the innovation funnel but only 1 out 3000 becomes a successful new product. There are many variables that interact in this complex process and investors decisions are often based on experience and feeling rather than a comprehensive evaluation of the social, economic and technological factors. The innovation potential, the innovator capability, the accessibility of the technology as well as the social acceptance and the chosen business model are the some of the critical factors of a successful innovation strategy. In the broad sense, a business model is the approach of doing business through which a company can sustain itself and generate profits in the long term. Digital platforms can help manage and facilitate the complexity of value propositions and provide an immediate feedback to the entrepreneur. Creating value is necessary, but not sufficient, for an organization to profit from its business model. It is important to see the whole picture of the business that is why the business models are so important for a good start of the business. However, innovation assessment and business model development sometimes are not an easy task and ICT can make this process easier. Then, the aim of this paper is to explore the role of digital platforms as facilitators for the techno-socio-economic impact assessment and the development of sustainable business models through the analysis of a case study from the EU Horizon 2020 “i3 project”.

Entrepreneurial practices are generally synonymous with marketing competitions that destroy each other, block all ways to generate profits, public deception related to products and benefits of products and others. On the other hand, the issue of poverty and community backwardness is still a prominent issue in West Java in general and Indramayu District in particular. Thus, any study related to the potential practices carried out by the community and potentially containing benefits for improving the welfare of the community is of course very important to be prioritized. So that a study of various business models that have the potential to improve the welfare of the community, of course, is very important to do.The business model in this case is a competitive advantage of an entrepreneurial practice that determines the resilience and developing power of a business practice. Business model is the heart as well as determining the direction of the pace of a business. Therefore studies related to business models are studies that have the potential to generate benefits not only for the development of knowledge but also for business people themselvesThis paper dissects the fish processing business model in the Wetan Regency Eretan using the business model navigation theory framework. The final result of this study is a business model development framework that is able to empower the community.
