This work deals with the evaluation of the error level occurring at the measuring of natural gas volumes supplied to the household users. The main factors that influence the measuring errors are one by one analyzed, and then a methodology for estimating measuring error level is introduced. The results are experimentally confirmed by the data obtained from the regulatemeasuring points equipped with temperature-correction devices.

The risk of natural gas long-distance pipeline and main factors of accidents are analyzed in this paper. According the consequences from above, quantitative risk assessment of long-distance pipelines under specific accident scenarios are completed with the help of numerical simulation model on long-distance pipeline leakage and dispersion. What’s more, on the basis of the assessment results, the necessary conditions for long-distance pipeline safe operation are presented. Finally, conclusions and safe operations under necessary conditions given in this paper are helpful for regular operation of pipeline, accident prevention, emergency response and reasonable supervision.

The author deals with energy market in Europe by presenting the gross consumption of energy as well as production of energy within the European Union. The need of EU for natural gas and crude oil is one of the main factors why Russia is still the key player in Europe's energy market. European Union is trying to leave Russia behind by importing crude oil and natural gas from countries like Norway, Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Libya, Nigeria, Iraq, but Europe is still highly dependent of Russian energy. Considering these facts, Serbia recognizes that its economic and political interest is to become a strategic partner with European Union as transit country for Russia's natural gas and crude oil. .

The aim of the research work was to analyze the operation of cleaning pigs, in natural gas transportation pipelines from point of view of risk-informed in-service inspection. During the analysis, the main factors considered were the stresses (mechanical, thermal and environmental) and loads, which have effect on cleaning pigs during its operation. The possible damage mechanisms were analyzed which can occur due to their consequences and qualitative probability analysis was performed on the basis of the available information.

The article examines the problem of emergence in East Asia of a regional trading center (hub) for liquefied natural gas (LNG) with its own independent price index, which can become the basis for pricing in long-term contracts for supplying gas to the countries of this region. The author identifies the main factors stimulating Asian players in the gas market to pass to a new pricing system while signing gas purchase contracts. The countries — the main candidates for creating their own LNG hub — are considered. The article analyzes current situation and the prospects for developing regional LNG hubs in such countries as China, Japan and Singapore. The paper also identifies the main obstacles to creating developed exchange trade of LNG in the Asia-Pacific countries and estimates the most likely places for the emergence of a gas hub.
