The background of this study includes the still low role of management information systems in improving the quality of public services and education service policies, especially in Cileunyi District, Bandung Regency. The aim is to find out the inhibiting factors, support in improving the quality of public services, education policy services. Qualitative descriptive research method, aims to provide a general description, an explanation of the variables studied in accordance with the focus of research includes the effectiveness of the role of information systems in managing information, producing information, presenting information and inhibiting factors, supporting in improving the quality of public services, education policy services . Using purposive sampling technique, accidental sampling, data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, research documents. The results of the study concluded that management information systems are very instrumental in managing information, producing information, presenting information. Using computer systems and information technology devices can be managed, sent to those who need them quickly, accurately, facilitating the completion of work tasks. Supporters in improving the quality of services including information and communication technology. This finding has maximally improved service to the public, services in determining policies in Education.

The rapid spread of the COVID-19 pandemic made it necessary to take serious precautions in the field of education, so schools were closed in many countries and switched to online education. The pandemic has caused similar changes in higher education institutions in Turkey. The motivation of the students is an important component in achieving the targeted success of the rapidly adapted online education. This study aims to investigate the factors that affect the motivation of management information systems students towards online education conducted during the COVID-19 pandemic. The findings reveal that the role of instructor, system support, and time management come to the fore in students' positive motivation. On the other hand, ineffective group work, failure to achieve career goals, prolonged pandemic period, and breakdown in social relationships have influence on students' negative motivation. It is expected that this study will guide policy developers for distance education and instructional strategies to be developed in the field of management information systems.

The study aims at identifying the role of management information systems in sustaining the administrative governance of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in Gaza. To achieve this purpose, the researcher used the "descriptive analytical approach", and adopted the questionnaire as a tool for the study, using a "stratified random sample" to poll the sample opinions, which amounted to (289) male and female employees of the staff of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in Gaza, and the number of questionnaires recovered was (254) recovery rate (87.9%). The study finds that the targeted individuals of the study sample showed a high degree of the availability of management information systems infrastructure in the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, reached to a relative weight of (73.2%). In addition, the results showed a rise in the application of management information systems at the Ministry of Education and Higher ?Education resulted in a relative weight of (70.5%). The high quality of the ?information resulting from management information systems at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in a relative weight of (68.6%). The application of administrative governance in the Ministry of Education and Higher Education Standards reached a relative weight of (64.82%), and received the standard response at the highest relative weight of (67.64%).

Includes data management and data storage management is done simply where data is only stored in excel. It looks less effective and efficient in technology’s development. Now, in Education, the lack of good cooperation between the school and parents to support the application of management information systems to improve quality of education. This is the implementation of Management Information System is already being adopted by schools, especially in SMP N 1 Talamau. The researcher use field research method that is qualitative research. The outcomes are that existing management information systems already meet the standards, both in terms of the student, curriculum, human resources, the facilities and the quality of the user, who is able to manage the activities that exist in the school. And then, the role of parents is also important in implementing management information systems to improve the quality of education. SMP N 1 Talamau applies a specific strategy that utilizes information technology-based Management Information Systems, namely an information and consultation room that functions as a consultation center between the school and parents and gives access to parents to see the development of students' Academic values.
