This Research aims to find out the difference between the average of abnormal return and trading volume activity of the transportation companies’ stocks listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange, a period 2014-2018 before and after Ramadhan. The research method is a quantitative method. Th kind of data used is secondary data. The sample is 11 transportation companies listed ini Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period of 2014-2018, while the sampling technique applies purposive sampling. The findings show that there is no difference on the average of abnormal return before and after Ramdahan, and there is no difference on the average of trading volume activity in 2015 and 2018, whereas in 2014, 2016, and 2017 there is a difference on the average of trading volume activity. Meanwhile, the abnormal return and trading volume activity simultaneously influence toward Ramadhan effect with the result of the coefficient determination of 50%, it means that 50% of Ramadhan effect variable is explained by return and trading volume activity.

The purpose of this study was to determine the difference in the average abnormal return and trading volume activity before and after the enactment of the tax amnesty law on the LQ-45 index. The type of data used in this study is secondary data with data collection techniques using the documentation method. Determination of the sample in this study using purposive sampling method with certain criteria so as to obtain 45 samples. The analytical technique used in this research is paired sample t-test with an observation period of 10 days. The results of this study indicate that: (1) There is no difference in the average abnormal return before and after the enactment of the tax amnesty law. (2) There is no difference in the average trading volume activity before and after the enactment of the tax amnesty law.

The January Effect occurred as a result companies that have a strategy to improve it is financial statements. The company will sell stocks that have low values at the end of the year and sell shares favorable to attract investment back at the beginning of next year. January Effect the anomaly that serves low stock Return occurred in December and the highest Return ing January. The purpose of this research was to examine whether there is a phenomenon January Effect on Effect Indonesia Stock Exchange and Shanghai Stock Exchange in Period 2011-2013The variables used in this study are the Return, Abnormal Return and trading volume activity. This research was conducted at the company that is static between years 2011-2013 were in a group LQ45 and SSE50 samples that meet the criteria. The model used is the determination of the sample with purposive sampling method. The tools used are Test One-Way ANOVA and Paired Sample (t-test). The results of analysis showed that look Abnormal Return  stock and Return  there is a difference between January to January in addition to the Indonesia Stock Exchange and Shanghai Stock Exchange by using One-Way ANOVA, while the Paired Sample (t-test) on the Shanghai Stock Exchange there the difference between January to be for January. And for testing of trading volume activity, The January Effect does not occurred in the Indonesia Stock Exchange and Shanghai Stock Exchange.

This study applied an event study approach  (event study).  The event tested the announcement of Sukuk emissions and market reactions as indicated by the existence of a significant Abnormal Return on the date of Sukuk emissions and it changed within the activity of Stock Trader of the Corporation Sukuk Issuer. Observation period between 2009-2018, there was 129 Sukuk emissions in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The number of samples taken was 26 emissions of Sukuk which make emissions from 12 issuers that met the set criteria. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis, independent t-test, t-paired test, and regression analysis.  Furthermore, the data were processed using IBM SPSS for Windows Software. The results showed that there was a difference in Average Abnormal Return (AAR) before and after the announcement of Sukuk emissions. However, the average value of the difference was not statistically significant. There was a positive market reaction on Average Abnormal Return (AAR) before the announcement of Sukuk emissions. There was a positive market reaction on Average Abnormal Return (AAR) after the announcement of Sukuk emissions. There were differences in the Average Trading Volume Activity (ATVA) before and after the announcement of Sukuk emissions. However, the average value of the difference was not statistically significant. There was a significant market reaction on Average Trading Volume Activity (ATVA) before the announcement of Sukuk emissions. There was a significant market reaction of Average Trading Volume Activity (ATVA) after the announcement of Sukuk emissions. Furthermore, this study also found that Sukuk to Equity Ratio (SER) had a positive effect, but not significantly on the level of  Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), and Earning per Share (EPS), but it was not significant. These insignificant effects of  SER  on the issuer's  ROA,  ROE  and  EPS were caused by the relatively small proportion of Sukuk value compared to the value of assets and company equity.

This study aims to determine the difference in abnormal return, trading volume activity, and security return variability before and after the stock split announcement on companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2013 - 2015. Testing the information content will be done by looking at differences in average abnormal return, average security return variability and average trading volume activity five days before and five days after the announcement of the stock split. The data analysis method that will be used is descriptive statistical analysis and different tests before and after the stock split announcement using the Wilcoxon signed rank test. The results of this study indicate that there are significant abnormal return differences before and after the stock split announcement, there is no significant difference in trading volume activity before and after the stock split announcement, and there is no significant difference in security return variability before and after the stock split announcement.

This study aims to examine the stock market’s reaction to the announcement of the implementation of the COVID-19 lockdown policy, examining the differences in abnormal return, and the total volume activity in company shares in Indonesia, Singapore, and Malaysia in responding before and after the announcement of the lockdown policy in the countries. This study uses the even study method and is based on secondary data from news portals and websites. The population and sample used in this study are companies listed in the index with the largest capitalization in each country, including LQ45 in Indonesia, STI in Singapore, FBM KCLI in Malaysia, and SET50 in Thailand. The sample collection technique is based on purposive sampling technique. The research variables are the COVID-19 lockdown policy announcement, abnormal return, trading volume activity (TVA) in the form of trading volume in the companies as the sample group. The results show that the announcement of COVID-19 lockdown policy did not significantly influence the reaction of the capital market but was still used as a basis to make investments decision. The announcement of the COVID-19 lockdown, both before and after the announcement, did not have a significant effect on abnormal returns and trading volume activity in Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand capital markets.

This research is conducted on all acquisition companies that conduct acquisitions listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange 2011-2016 period. Sampling method using purposive sampling. The number of samples of this research is 50 companies. The market reaction in this study used abnormal return and trading volume activity. The testing of information content will be done by looking at differences in cumulative abnormal return and the average trading volume of shares five days before and five days after the announcement of the acquisition. Data analysis technique used is paired sample t-test. Based on the test results, found there are significant differences in the abnormal return of the acquirer company before and after the announcement of the acquisition. The purpose of this study is to determine the market reaction to the announcement of cash dividends, by looking at differences in abnormal return and trading volume activity before and after the cash dividend announcement. Dividend announcement is an event that affects the market, because the company provides information to the public. Information provided by the company will influence investors' decision making and will act on that information. The sample of this study amounted to 33 of the 100 companies incorporated in the Kompas 100 index on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The data collection method uses non-participant observation, which is document observation. The analysis technique used is Paired-Sample T Test and Wilcoxon-Signed Rank Test. The results showed that there were no differences in abnormal returns and trading volume activity before and after the distribution of cash dividends. This research presents an empirical analysis of difference between abnormal return and trading volume activity before and after earths-quake, in Yogyakarta at May 27, 2006. And examine its statistical properties. This research argues that there was difference between abnormal return and trading volume activity before and after quake. For this purpose, the mean difference test, using t-test, was applied to compare the mean value of abnormal return and trading volume activity before and after quake. The sample of this research consists of the insurance firms listed at the Jakarta Stock Exchange. Investigation on the sample firms involved periods of ten days before quake and ten days after quake. The results of this research indicate that there was no significant difference between the abnormal return and trading volume activity before and after quake. This evidence confirms that even did not positively influence abnormal return and trading volume activity as suggested theoretically.

This study is a study of events aimed at knowing the effects of Ramadhan, to companies listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index on the Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2014-2018, using abnormal return and trading volume activity indicators. This study uses secondary data in the form of daily stock price index for the period 2014-2018 , Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) and trading volume, with the population of companies entering the Jakarta Islamic Index on The Indonesian Stock Exchange , The statistical test used to test the hypothesis is the normality test, and the paired sample t-test. Result of T-test on Abnormal Return between year 2014-2018 know that there is no significant influence between Ramadhan month to abnormal return from year 2014 until 2018. While for T-test on trading volume activity between year 2014 until 2018 know that only in 2014, 2015, and 2017, 2018 there are significant influence which means the market responds to the event. The result of the test of Ramadhan event has the information even though it does not happen in every year of the research period, this is because Ramadhan is a routine event occuring in Indonesia so investors have been able to predict how the stock movemonts in Indonesia Stock Exchange.

This study aims to determine the effect of simultaneous elections in Indonesia, namely legislative and executive elections that occur simultaneously together with the reaction in the capital market. Market reaction is measured using trading volume activity and returns stock that occur within the timeframe before and after the holding of simultaneous elections, namely on the date before and after April 17, 2019. The population in this study is the issuer that actively trades its shares on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in Compass100 Index stock category. The research hypothesis was tested with an independent sample t-test using software SPPS26. Hypothesis testing results indicate a significant difference in trading volume activity that occurs before and after simultaneous elections. While the variable abnormal return there is no significant difference before and after the election simultaneously. This research is expected to be a reference for all parties concerned including the public towards a political event that occurs in this case specifically the simultaneous elections for decision making related to investment activities in stock instruments
