- This work is concerned with the development of a browser for computer based examination platforms. It focused on trends and mostly used browsers for online computer based examination and carried out a critical review of the browsers used for current computer based test system employed in Nigeria Universities. An alternative application to provide solutions to the current challenges identified in the existing system was then developed. The new application was designed using the Extreme programming methodology and implemented using Microsoft Visual Basic on a Windows 7 system. We created user-friendly interfaces driven by the Visual Basic codes. The application has amongst other features, disabled access to control box of the browser window and the Alt + F4 button as shortcut in closing browsers

Abstract This paper covers the design and implementation of an accurate, yet flexible test system for Lithium-Ion batteries. The system makes use of linear charge and discharge circuitry to ensure a low noise control, and can support the simultaneous and independent testing of six cells. The system is controlled and data collected by specialist MatLab© software with a user-friendly GUI. Experimental data is processed within the same environment to obtain the desired information. The system makes use of Full Cycle Coulomb Counting and Pulsed DC Load Analysis to obtain estimates for the State of Health (SoH) and State of Charge (SoC) of various cells, and to examine the effect of different use cases on cell performance through repeated testing.

This system combines the actual administrative system , after the actual needs analysis, using the powerful Visual Basic 6.0 development tools and developed as a stand-alone management system. The entire system from the simple , user-friendly, flexible , practical and safety requirements , the management system has the following features: input, modify employees' basic information , query, delete module , employee leave of information input, modify, query , delete module , entry employee salary information , calculations, queries, and users of the system settings and system maintenance functions.

This paper introduces analysis the development process of CAD technology, application of the AutoCAD software in engineering field and teaching as well as the significance of the development of two times the. This paper analyzes in detail the development of common language, and the use of Visual BASIC development and application of software based on AutoCAD. The author elaborates the software interface design and method calls AutoCAD in VB. Finally, the design and implementation of a programming language re-development system based on AutoCAD is concerned. The test results show that the developed AutoCAD two development system has good practical value.

This paper presents the design and implementation of control strategy for both the speed and direction of a direct current (DC) motor using Android-based application in smart phone. The Raspberry Pi 3 with a motor driver controller has been used to implement the control action via Python-based user-defined programming. The Android application has been developed using Android Developer Tools (ADT) in Java platform. The Android apps work like a client and communicates with Raspberry Pi through wi-fi connectivity. Finally, a small graphical user interface (GUI) has been created in Python in order to interface and control the motor with buttons in GUI. The advantages of GUI are that it is attractive, user friendly, and even a layman can work with the application developed in GUI.
