Small/er soccer nations rely strongly on developing youth athletes into experts in adulthood due to financial, logistical, and coach education constraints. One factor that contributes to this expertise is activities engaged in during childhood. Researchers have described these activities by focusing on larger, well-developed countries that often have larger participation rates and higher competition levels than their smaller counterparts. Therefore, to provide more specific information to support talent development in smaller soccer nations, a survey of the youth development system of a small soccer nation was conducted, alongside recording the developmental activities of skilled and less-skilled soccer players within this system. Key stakeholders (e.g., technical director) completed a youth development system survey. Skilled soccer players ( n = 12) who were representing their country at U17 level and less-skilled players ( n = 13) that had never played for their country completed a Participation History Questionnaire. Skilled players engaged in significantly higher amounts of individual practice in both childhood and early adolescence compared to less-skilled players. Survey data indicated that the greater amounts of individual practice for the skilled players stemmed from a lack of finances, playing facilities, and a formal coach education program. Results from this study may inform future practices and processes in the youth development systems of small/er soccer nations and their national associations.

In the conditions of constant social changes that transform the usual stereotypes of professional activity, the teacher finds himself in a situation of confusion and frustration. Experiencing a situation of uncertainty for a long time causes irritation, fatigue and a decrease in the life resource of the pedagogical community. The growing demands on the teacher, his permanent need to meet the changing world dictates new tasks for the professional development system, designed to provide the educational space with personnel, taking into account the requirements of the situation. In the Russian system of additional professional education, there is an active search for ways, models, and ways to train teachers. The paper analyzes the experience of testing a personalized educational strategy of teachers as a variant of a subject-oriented program of continuous professional and personal development in modern conditions. On the basis of the Tyumen Regional State Institute for the Development of Regional Education, work was carried out on designing a model of a personalized educational strategy of teachers. This model was the logical result of many years of work of the Institute to find the optimal way to satisfy practicing teachers in minimizing professional difficulties, in overcoming difficulties in pedagogical activity. The author of the article describes the relevance of the task facing the professional development system; the results of theoretical and methodological understanding of the stated problem are presented; the experience of designing a personalized educational strategy of teachers, including five stages, is presented in detail; the necessary mechanisms and resources used are fixed, data on the results of satisfaction with the tested model by teachers are provided; conclusions are drawn about the role of the professional development system at the present stage. In the discussion, the author refers to the experience of scientists from other regions, thereby emphasizing the importance of the problem for the entire territory of the Russian Federation.

Abstract The paper presents a study regarding the implementation of two representative grid synchronization methods, intended to be used in the control structure of a three phase switch mode voltage rectifier. The methods considered are the Synchronous Reference Frame Phase Locked Loop (SRF PLL) and the Double Synchronous Frame Phase Locked Loop (DSRF PLL), respectively. These synchronization methods have been compared on a real time development system type dSpace 1104 from the point of view of their performance in case of an unbalanced mains voltage system. Finally, the influence of the chosen grid synchronization method on the performance of a synchronous reference frame controlled three-phase switch mode voltage rectifier is studied by simulation, and better results are demonstrated to be provided by the use of the DSRF PLL.

Abstract The development system of the main hydrocarbon deposit of the Shtormove field was designed taking into account the change in reservoir rock properties in horizontal and vertical sections of the gas-saturated interval. Based on the results of core analyses and interpretation of logging data from exploration and appraisal wells, maximum porosity values were assigned to the top part of the deposit, with lower porosity values assigned closer to the gas-water contact area. The analyzed thin sections demonstrated vertical and subvertical fractures, as well as multiple pores and dissolution vugs. Most of the fractures occur in the top part of the gas-condensate deposit. Natural fractures in the rocks of the productive interval were confirmed by well testing using a steady flow analysis. Taking into account the determined reservoir properties’ distribution pattern in the gas-condensate deposit II, the wells were drilled in the top part of the deposit from a fixed offshore platform during the pilot development period. During this period, the estimated recoverable gas reserves’ values matched the values obtained using the volumetric estimation method. In the following years, in order to increase the gas recovery rate, the infilling production wells were drilled in the top part of the deposit. Based on the analysis of the development, it was determined that the addition of new wells had little effect on the performance of existing ones. As a result, attributable to infill drilling in the top part of the deposit, the annual gas production increased. Given the similarity of the geological model and distribution of reservoir properties, the implemented development system of the Shtormove field should be recommended for new development targets.

Abstract The request for optimization of development system parameters, well designs and the ground facility architecture is permanent task during the development of hydrocarbon fields. Decrease in the quality of oil and gas reserves, development of fields in difficult environment conditions and in the Arctic, oil and gas prices development lead to an increase in the sensitivity of new field’s development profitability from the parameters of the development system and field facilities. Infrastructure of a field for the development of a gas field is associated with significant capital costs, both for the construction of wells and local infrastructure facilities, and for the construction of facilities for the preparation and transportation of gas. Therefore, one of the main tasks in the design of gas field development is the calculation of the optimal parameters of the development system - the number of wells and gas production plateau. Now the most well-known approaches to solving this problem are the calculation of different development variants using integrated numerical hydrodynamic models (Apasov et.al., 2018), taking into account all the features of the field under consideration or using analytical models based on the fundamental principles of filtration theory and development experience. In such conditions, when solving optimization problems, it is necessary to take into account all the components of the production system (Khasanov et.al., 2020), otherwise it can be an incorrectly assessment of the economic effect of optimization and face the unprofitability of the developed design solutions. For most oil fields, the interinfluence of the reservoir part of the field, well lifts and the infrastructure is relatively weak, therefore, these parts can be optimized separately. When designing the development of fields with oil rims and gas fields, especially multilayer ones, optimization requires searching for a global optimal solution, investigating the existence and uniqueness of such a solution - on the models describing the field and interaction of the infrastructure, well lifts and the reservior part.
