Direction and Speed Control of DC Motor Using Raspberry PI and Python-Based GUI

This paper presents the design and implementation of control strategy for both the speed and direction of a direct current (DC) motor using Android-based application in smart phone. The Raspberry Pi 3 with a motor driver controller has been used to implement the control action via Python-based user-defined programming. The Android application has been developed using Android Developer Tools (ADT) in Java platform. The Android apps work like a client and communicates with Raspberry Pi through wi-fi connectivity. Finally, a small graphical user interface (GUI) has been created in Python in order to interface and control the motor with buttons in GUI. The advantages of GUI are that it is attractive, user friendly, and even a layman can work with the application developed in GUI.

Now a day’s usage of android applications has become a part of our life. By using these applications our work becomes simple and easier in our day to day activities. This paper suggests an android application which is generally useful for the students and parents. It contains various features like notifying the student about the renewal date of library books, alerting students and their parents about the percentage of attendance and reminds them about number of classes they should present to maintain the specified attendance threshold. This application also alerts the students and parents about various events like examinations, workshops to be held, student activities to be conducted etc. This application is user friendly and can be installed in any android smart phone

While examining the historical backdrop of clinical procedure, we can understand that medical practitioner have/had created and refined instruments for complicated surgeries. Development in clinical progressions is on a standard with that saw in the sickness causing specialists and infections. Since ancient time, clinical practices were performed using obtrusive medical procedures without sedation, which resulted in high mortality and post-surgery complications. This led to the emergence of effective, safe and user friendly medical instruments and procedures with little to moderately death rate. At present obtrusive methodologies are negligibly practiced, but provides less twisted related complexities, fast organ work return, and more limited hospitalizations. The success of these methods has prompted for higher acknowledgment of picture guided surgeries. We present an Internet Of things (IOT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) based model that includes a computer generated experience based (VR-based) User interface and some benefits and limitations. It can be done by Raspberry pi, android application and also done by Sap cloud system.

This paper presents the design and implementation of an android application for managing various events. The software is supported to eliminate and in some cases reduce the hardships faced by any event organizer. It is mainly designed to carry out the operations smoothly and efficiently. Users will have to create accounts with their credentials. This software provides a user-friendly interface which allows the clients to contact service providers effectively. It also provides a note-keeping service which gives reminders time to time to the busy organizer. It makes it easy for the user and the clients to store their past expenses and events. This software makes the event organizer plan his event more strategically and provides better services to the clients.

Along with the development of battery/ACCU technology, the ACCU charging and loading system has also developed manually or automatically. In this paper, the results of research on the manufacture of tools that function to monitor and control the charging and loading of electrical power will be explained from batteries that are burdened with lights and DC motors through a control panel or android smart phone with IoT technology. This tool is designed to monitor 2 ACCUs, namely ACCU1 and ACCU2. ACCU1 is loaded with lamp and parallel with DC motor load while ACCU2 is loaded with DC motor and parallel with lamp load. If ACCU1 and ACCU2 are full, ACCU1 is loaded with only one lamp and ACCU2 is only loaded with DC motor. For example, ACCU1's electrical power is still within the limits that can be loaded with lights and DC motors while ACCU2 can't be loaded because electric power is not capable of being loaded with DC motors, the DC motor's load will be transferred to ACCU1. So that ACCU1 is loaded with DC lamps and motors and ACCU2 is charging the electricity, as well as for the opposite condition. The design of this tool uses the main component of the ESP32 microcontroller, where this component has been integrated with the wifi module and other supporting circuit modules, namely the current sensor circuit, voltage sensor and OLED display. The software design consists of a program code designer for hardware using C++ and an android smart phone application design using MIT App Inventor. The results of this study are in accordance with the design specifications, namely the device can be used to control charging and loading as well as monitor ACCU1 and ACCU2 electrical power on OLED screens and on Android smart phones screens

Whilst computerized greenhouse systems are common in commercial crop production, there are few equivalent, but less expensive, systems available for home greenhouses. As a result, the scope of this study is to build and make a smart greenhouse system that monitors and regulate domestic greenhouses both locally and remotely. This thesis concentrated on the design and implementation of a smart greenhouse system's user interface and networking paradigm. This concept presents a conceptual framework for transforming a traditional greenhouse into a smart greenhouse. The goal is for customers to be able to control and manage critical crop aspects depending on their own needs. A user-friendly Thingspeak service where real data is synced from the greenhouse to the cloud and a responsive greenhouse system are the end results.

Abstract - This research will focus on the design of dual channel television control systems and fan speed control. The design of a dual channel TV controller system and fan speed control uses wireless media as a link between an Android smart phone, Raspberry Pi B +, TV, and fan. To design a dual channel TV controller system and control wind kipsa, it includes an Android smartphone, wi-fi module type TL-WN832N TP-Link and Raspberry pi B +. Android smartphones function as TV controllers and fans with applications installed on Android smartphones. The TP-Link TL-WN832N wi-fi module functions as a wireless multimedia link between the Raspberry Pi B + and Android smartphones. Raspberry pi B + functions like processing data sent by an Android smartphone to control the TV or fan. This paper presents the design and implementation of unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) using a simple approach. An unmanned ground vehicle is an automobile without any onboard human presence. It is remotely controlled by an operator. It can be used in scenarios where the presence of human operator is inconvenient and dangerous. It is an Arduino and Android application based controlled vehicle. Bluetooth module (HC-06) provides the communication between the vehicle components and Android application. The motion of the vehicle is based on two DC gear motors that are connected to the rear wheels of the vehicle. The vehicle is equipped with the video camera (V380S) and a gun to provide live video stream to the operator and to fire in lethal situations respectively. The developed vehicle shows the possible usage of such prototype in security and military applications.
