Entity Resolution on Cloud

Large quantities of records need to be read and analyzed in cloud computing; many records referring to the same entity bring challenges for data processing and analysis. Entity resolution has become one of the hot issues in database research. Clustering based on records similarity is one of most commonly used methods, but the existing methods of computing records similarity often cost much time and are not suitable for cloud computing. This chapter shows that it is necessary to use wave of strings to compute records similarity in cloud computing and provides a method based on wave of strings of entity resolution. Theoretical analysis and experimental results show that the method proposed in this chapter is correct and effective.

Abstract In order to solve the increasing attacks on container file system and the IO errors of containers in big data processing scenarios in cloud computing environment, a scheme based on the idea of heterogeneous redundancy in endogenous security and transformation of container union file system was proposed to improve the security and fault tolerance of containers. Based on the above scheme, experiments are carried out on Docker, the most popular container technology, and OverlayFS, the most representative union file system. The experimental results show that this scheme can improve the security and fault tolerance of containers on the premise of ensuring availability, and realize the endogenous security of containers.

A development and evaluation the Cloud Computing (ClComp) of Ministry of Electricity and Energy of Egypt (MEEE) is presented in this paper. In order to be able to judge whether the ClComp of MEEE is competence, there is a need to develop criteria which performance can judged. Competency based standards and the ability to perform the activities within an occupation to the standard expected in the organization structure are presented. The key objective of Cloud Computing is to integrate Authorized Groups (AuthGs) development with the needs of the organization structures of MEEE. The ClComp of MEEE was developed jointly between the telecommunication information technology and ClComp services. Evaluation enables participant to distinguish between AuthGs centered view and a customer centered view of cloud computing of MEEE is competence evaluation. Recognize the main types of evaluation, explain the purpose of evaluation compare the approaches to cloud computing evaluation and review the relationship between the process and policy of evaluation are investigated. Microprocessor architecture presented an optimistic view of multicore scalability to develop the ClComp. Moreover this paper investigates the theoretical analysis of multiprocessor developing and scalability. The analysis was based on the laws of Amdahl's, Gustafson's, Hill's and Marty for fixed-workload condition. Moreover, challenged the difficulties to develop better cloud computing is taken into account. Also, multicore analysis of ClComp scalability, performance and power under fixed-time and memory-bound conditions are studied. These results complement existing studies and demonstrate that ClComp architectures are capable of extensive scalability and developing.

An original poling method using purely optical means and based on a dual-frequency interference process is presented. We show that the coherent superposition of two beams at fundamental and second-harmonic frequencies results in a polar field with an irreducible rotational spectrum containing both a vector and an octupolar component. This enables the method to be applied even to molecules without a permanent dipole such as octupolar molecules. After a theoretical analysis of the process, we describe different experiments aiming at light-induced noncentrosymmetry performed respectively on one-dimensional Disperse Red 1 and octupolar Ethyl Violet molecules. Macroscopic octupolar patterning of the induced order is demonstrated in both transient and permanent regimes. Experimental results show good agreement with theory.

MapReduce framework of cloud computing has an effective way to achieve massive text categorization. In this paper a distributed parallel text training algorithm in cloud computing environment based on multi-class Support Vector Machines(SVM) is designed. In cloud computing environment Map tasks realize distributing various types of samples and Reduce tasks realize the specific SVM training. Experimental results show that the execution time of text training decreases with the number of Reduce tasks increasing. Also a parallel text classifying based on cloud computing is designed and implemented, which classify the unknown type texts. Experimental results show that the speed of text classifying increases with the number of Map tasks increasing.

This paper proposes a new framework of combining reinforcement learning with cloud computing digital library. Unified self-learning algorithms, which includes reinforcement learning, artificial intelligence and etc, have led to many essential advances. Given the current status of highly-available models, analysts urgently desire the deployment of write-ahead logging. In this paper we examine how DNS can be applied to the investigation of superblocks, and introduce the reinforcement learning to improve the quality of current cloud computing digital library. The experimental results show that the method works more efficiency.

A novel rain gauge based on acoustic self-calibration principle is proposed in the paper. Acoustic self-calibration principle can eliminate the uncertainty of the velocity of ultrasound and achieve accurate measurement of rainfall. The rain gauge not only overcomes the influence on the rainfall measurement under intensive rainfall conditions, but also improves the precision of rain gauge. Plenty of experiments have been done to validate the design. Both theoretical analysis and experimental results show the effectiveness of the rain gauge. A full description of the rain gauge and implementation are presented.

The immune genetic algorithm is a kind of heuristic algorithm which simulates the biological immune system and introduces the genetic operator to its immune operator. Conquering the inherent defects of genetic algorithm that the convergence direction can not be easily controlled so as to result in the prematureness;it is characterized by a better global search and memory ability. The basic principles and solving steps of the immune genetic algorithm are briefly introduced in this paper. The immune genetic algorithm is applied to the survey data processing and experimental results show that this method can be practicably and effectively applied to the survey data processing.
