The technological advances establish new communication forms between people and have also reached the government sphere and its activities, improving access to information and allowing greater interaction between citizens through C2C (Citizen to Citizen) Services. Based on these aspects, this chapter presents a proposal for software architecture, using a social network to map the relationships and interactions between citizens, accounting and storing this knowledge in a government ontological metadata network. Using UML notation (Unified Modeling Language) for Software Engineering process and Java platform for development, a software prototype was modeled and developed in order to manage and handle e-Gov-driven social networks, using ontological metadata to computationally represent the social ties. This prototype is also capable of providing graphical display of social networks, enabling the identification of different social links between citizens, creating a tool intended for government agencies, since it allows a quantitative analysis of information in the social network.

This paper presents an overview of the Rational Unified Process. The Rational unified Process is a software engineering process, delivered through a web-enabled, searchable knowledge base. The process enhances team productivity and delivers software best practices via guidelines, templates and tool mentors for all critical software lifecycle activities. The UML is a industry-standard language that allows us to clearly communicate requirements, architectures and designs. <p>Tendance is a supporting aspect to provide satisfaction for the society. The issue of tendance is less than optimal and it makes the agency image unfavorable. It is sometimes not from the problems of agencies, but the problem is increasing of population. Regarding this matter, the government should be able to take advantage of current technology facilities to provide a service to be more optimal. For example the use of computer media to store the population data in computerized, without having to use media archives offline. Not only the use of computer media, but also can apply an information technology system as known as e-government. Regarding this the authors try to create and develop web-based applications to improve service to the society to optimize the performance of government agencies. The flow of the system process uses UML (Unified Modeling Language) for the modeling process and the creation of applications that are described in the form of diagrams. In general the results made from this application are for making letters such as making domicile letters, business licenses, marriage delivery letters, death certificates, and crowd permits.</p><p><strong>Keywords</strong>: Country Office Tendance, E-Goverment, UML</p><p>Pelayanan merupakan suatu aspek pendukung untuk memberikan kepuasan bagi masyarakat. Isu yang terkadang mengenai pelayanan yang kurang optimal menjadikan citra instansi menjadi kurang baik. Hal tersebut terkadang bukan dari permasalahan instansi, akan tetapi timbul akibat semakin ramainya penduduk disuatu tempat sehingga data kependudukan menjadi banyak. Mengenai hal tersebut, pemerintah semestinya dapat memanfaatkan fasilitas teknologi saat ini untuk memberikan suatu pelayanan agar  lebih optimal. Contohnya penggunaan media komputer untuk menyimpan data penduduk secara terkomputerisasi, tanpa harus menggunakan media arsip secara offline. Tidak hanya sekedar memanfaatkan media komputer, tetapi juga dapat menerapkan suatu system teknologi informasi yang dikenal dengan istilah <em>e-government</em>. Mengenai hal tersebut penulis mencoba membuat dan mengembangkan aplikasi berbasis web untuk meningkatkan pelayanan kepada masyarakat sehingga mengoptimalkan kinerja dari instansi pemerintah. Alur proses sistem menggunakan UML <em>(Unified Modeling Language)</em> untuk proses pemodelan perancangan dan pembuatan aplikasi yang digambarkan dalam bentuk diagram. Abstract: Based on the regulation of the State Minister for Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform of the Republic of Indonesia Number 6 of 2011 concerning General Guidelines for Electronic Service Manuscripts within government agencies, the government requires all government agencies to draw up their respective electronic service manuscripts (correspondence administration information systems) , which refers to the guidelines in the regulation. In the process of official script administration carried out by the BPJS Employment Branch of Sukabumi City is the disposition of correspondence. Disposition is one of the important information notification media for this government agency. The disposition problem that occurs at the BPJS Employment of the Sukabumi City branch is a disposition process that requires a long time. This study aims to make it easier for secretaries, branch heads, department heads, and BPJS Employment staff to see the disposition of letters and manage existing correspondence data. Design and Development of Disposition Information Systems This letter uses the Waterfall system development method with UML (Unified Modeling Language) Tools. Permasalahan disposisi yang terjadi pada BPJS Ketenagakerjaan cabang Kota Sukabumi adalah proses disposisi yang membutuhkan waktu yang lama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memudahkan sekretaris, kepala cabang, kepala bidang, dan staf BPJS Ketenagakerjaan untuk melihat disposisi surat dan mengelola data persuratan yang ada. Rancang Bangun Sistem Informasi Disposisi Surat ini menggunakan metode pengembangan sistem Waterfall dengan Tools UML (Unified Modeling Language). Dari hasil penelitian sistem disposisi surat berbasis website ini dapat membantu dalam pengelolaan, penyimpanan serta pencarian arsip surat pada Kantor BPJS Ketenagakerjaan cabang Kota Sukabumi..Kata Kunci : Sistem Informasi, surat, disposisi

By using unified modeling language (UML), the researchers design a cloud-based video discussion platform, named Flipnote, for students to ask questions at any point in an instructional video. Based on the digital learning theory of connectivism, knowledge is generated by mass discussion and experience sharing via a social network. The purpose of this study is to administer a pilot study to explore students' experience and outcome of using Flipnote. The results demonstrate that the four dimensions (e.g., diversity, openness, interactivity, and autonomy) of the connectivism model play important roles for the first half of the flipped class, which is the preview at home. However, more empirical research and data are needed to validate the parts played by cognitivism and constructivism in the flipped classroom.

Micro, small and medium enterprises (UMKM) in Indonesia is increasing every year. The increase in the number of UMKM has a significant impact on the Indonesian economy, so the government lowers the UMKM tax so that UMKM businesses develop rapidly. However, that does not make the other problems faced by the UMKM to be overcome. One problem that arises is the marketing and distribution of product results. The purpose of this research is to build a local shoe product distribution system based on a website to make it easier for resellers or shops to order shoes to the production. Processed data include retailer and store data, distributor data, product data, transaction data, and ordering data. Using the waterfall development model and using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) to visualize system modeling. This research generates reports of every activity carried out in the system including reports for factories, distributors and retailers.

The COVID-19 pandemic is a global health problem that has given the greatest challenge for humanity today. This paper discusses the social changes that have taken place on social network density after COVID-19 hit the world. The social network density discussed is based on Social Network Theory according to the current situation that has hit Malaysia. The methods used are based on document analysis and case analysis from official documents issued by the government. The analysis revealed that the COVID-19 pandemic has had a devastating impact on human health, social and economic. However, seen from the standpoint of social networks, the COVID-19 pandemic has led to the emergence of densities in social networks due to increased informal sector involvement in the formation of social networks. This means that, as the number of social networks is formed, the density of social network will increased as defined by Social Network Theory.

PT. Duta Nichirindo Pratama is a company engaged in the field of Autoparts Manufacture. Barcode is the identity of an item / product on the package. Barcode technology has been used as the identity of goods in a production. Barcodes are used to facilitate the identification of goods produced. Paste the barcode on the packaging of packaging results at PT. Duta Nichirindo Pratama is done manually, but there are often errors attached to the barcode on a similar packaging. This research will design and create a system based on Visual Basic.Net and Arduino to select barcode attachment errors that have the potential to be sent to consumers. The system is designed using Unified Modeling Language (UML) diagrams, database design and interface menu design. The system created will then be tested to detect the black box test. With a computing-based design system that functions to detect barcodes on the packaging automatically, the problem of sticking barcodes on the packaging can be detected.

Untuk memudahkan pengolahan data para pegawai, inputan data Cuti dan Absensi maupun izin sakit dibutuhkan suatu perangkat lunak yang nantinya dapat melakukan pengolahan data ,berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut maka perlu di lakukan analisis sehinnga nantinya dapat diperoleh hasil dan kebutuhankebutuhan yang diperlukan untuk perangkat /system yang akan di bangun. Popularity of the social media and the amount of importance given by an individual to social media has significantly increased in last few years. As more and more people become part of the social networks like Twitter, Facebook, information which flows through the social network, can potentially give us good understanding about what is happening around in our locality, state, nation or even in the world. The conceptual motive behind the project is to develop a system which analyses about a topic searched on Twitter. It is designed to assist Information Analysts in understanding and exploring complex events as they unfold in the world. The system tracks changes in emotions over events, signalling possible flashpoints or abatement. For each trending topic, the system also shows a sentiment graph showing how positive and negative sentiments are trending as the topic is getting trended.
