By using finite element method, the thermal stress of stress absorption interlayer of asphalt overlay on the cement concrete pavement is analyzed in this paper. The result shows that the inter-laminar shear stress and the structural vertical displacement are influenced by the thickness of stress absorption layer, while the asphalt bottom stress is less affected; the increase of the modulus is unfavorable to the structural vertical displacement, the inter-laminar shear stress and the asphalt bottom stress.

The effective treatment of void cement concrete pavement slab through grouting technology is the important premise of ensuring the service performance of asphalt overlay engineer on cement concrete pavement. Based on the current problems of grouting technology, we did experimental studies on the mixing proportion of grout slurry and analyzed the effects of slurry composition and admixture type on mechanical properties including the strength, mobility, viscosity, expansion rate and bleeding rate of the slurry and on the service performance. Based on these, we put forward the control indexes for grouting slurry mix proportion determination which provided guidance for the design and construction quality control of grouting under the old cement concrete pavement slab.

The stress concentration will appear in cement concrete around joint dowel set in contraction joint of cement concrete pavement with repeated loads. And concrete around joint dowel will damage gradually. In this paper, the stress of concrete around joint dowel and deflection of concrete slab are analyzed when joint dowel loosing. It is indicated that the shear stress is key to damage of concrete around joint dowel. when the loosing width reaches certain extent. With loosing width increasing, load transfer capacity will decrease gradually. And it is shown that the load transfer capability will lower rapidly when the loosing width comes in 4cm.

Cement concrete pavement is the main type of highway pavement in our country. The asphalt overlay on old concrete pavement is one of the main measures to improve the pavement performance, to improve the bearing capacity and extended service life. But, the prevention of reflection cracks is a key problem need to overcome. This paper briefly analyzes cause of the formed mechanism of reflecting crack of bituminous paving course on old cement concrete pavement, and elaborated some major technical measures of preventing or retarding reflection cracks.

The melting point of polypropylene geotextile is 170 centigrade. However, during the repaving design of the old cement concrete pavement, the paving temperature of the asphalt mixture is often 160-170 centigrade or above. Therefore, it is very important to verify that whether the polypropylene geotextile can be paved under a high temperature. Through the modeling and analysis of temperature fields and relevant temperature tests in the laboratory, the paper has tested the surface temperatures of the polypropylene geotexile when the asphalt mixture is paved under a high temperature. The results show that, under a simulated paving temperature of over 190 centigrade, the highest temperature of polypropylene geotextile is only about 160 centigrade, which is lower than its melting point. Therefore, the polypropylene geotextile can be used for the paving under a high temperature.

In order to improve aderverse state of connection between cement concrete pavement and base layer, the black substratum of asphalt concrete was set between pavement and base layer. According to the elastic mechanics theory, 3d finite element model of pavement structure was established, the vertical displacement of each structure layer was analyzed by using ANSYS. The results show that black substratum can absorb part of deformation energy by using its good deformation ability, so as to improve the stress condition of the entire pavement structure. It can increase the ability of structure layer deformation coordination to set the black substratum, which can make rigid pavement combine the characteristics of rigid pavement and flexible pavement.

After the appearing of voids beneath cement concrete slabs, the pavement loses a continuous and uniform lower support structure, and the stress state of the road panel is extremely unfavorable. The polymer grouting repair is timesaving, efficient and pollution-free. In order to verify the performance improvement and fatigue damage evolution of cement concrete pavement before and after grouting repair, a material damage constitutive model was established. The UMAT subprogram was introduced into the finite element software ABAQUS to analyze the structure under the action of moving cyclic loading, stress response and fatigue damage evolution process before and after regional grouting repair. The results show that the Mises stress and vertical displacement of the grouting repairing slab are very close to the normal state, which indicates that the grouting repair has a prominent influence on the bottom void of the slab. With the rise of loading time, the fatigue damage of the pavement structure is increasing, but the trend is gradually reduced, and the number of load times and the degree of fatigue damage are nonlinear. From the long-term cyclic loading and comprehensive analysis of the construction period, the polymer grouting repair is better than cementitious grout.
