According to the features and needs of collecting the data of temperature and humidity of current industrial environment, and the multi-places and multi-sensors data fusion as well, this paper proposes a fuzzy logic-based approach for the multi-places and multi-sensors data fusion. Firstly, this paper introduces the hardware construction of monitor system of temperature and humidity. Then, based on fuzzy set theory, the paper describes the model of fuzzy synthetic evaluation, and then proposes a novel algorithm for choosing the weights assignment proposals. Finally, a multi-places and multi-sensors data fusion approach, which is based on fuzzy synthetic evaluation, is presented. An example is also used for demonstrating the proposed approach. The results of system implementation identify that the approach can remove the influence of incorrect data on evaluating the temperature and humidity of current environment, and the data fusion result is objective and correct as well.

The decision method based on Fuzzy Synthetic Evaluation is presented to achieve skimmer selection in oil spill response. Firstly, the evaluation index system of skimmer is determined. Secondly, the fuzzy set theory is introduced to achieve quantification of skimmer qualitative indexes and the evaluation matrix of skimmer is established by expert investigation. Then the alternative skimmers are evaluated by the method of Fuzzy Synthetic Evaluation, and the optimal selection of skimmer can be obtained.

Metapopulation theory considers that the populations of many species are fragmented into patches connected by the migration of individuals through an interterritorial matrix. We applied fuzzy set theory and environmental favorability (F) functions to reveal the metapopulational structure of the 222 butterfly species in the Iberian Peninsula. We used the sets of contiguous grid cells with high favorability (F ≥ 0.8), to identify the favorable patches for each species. We superimposed the known occurrence data to reveal the occupied and empty favorable patches, as unoccupied patches are functional in a metapopulation dynamics analysis. We analyzed the connectivity between patches of each metapopulation by focusing on the territory of intermediate and low favorability for the species (F < 0.8). The friction that each cell opposes to the passage of individuals was computed as 1-F. We used the r.cost function of QGIS to calculate the cost of reaching each cell from a favorable patch. The inverse of the cost was computed as connectivity. Only 126 species can be considered to have a metapopulation structure. These metapopulation structures are part of the dark biodiversity of butterflies because their identification is not evident from the observation of the occurrence data but was revealed using favorability functions.

Civil architecture energy conservation efficiency evaluation is a kind of multi-factors, multi-hierarchies and multi-criteria synthetic evaluation. Perfect civil architecture energy conservation efficiency evaluation indicators system and reasonably effective synthetic evaluation methodology are keys to do energy conservation efficiency synthetic evaluation. This paper is based on framing civil architecture energy conservation efficiency evaluation system, and uses fuzzy synthetic evaluation methodology to frame civil architecture energy conservation efficiency fuzzy synthetic evaluation model, in order to make the result of evaluation more objective and reasonable.
