The pressure information collection of bridge buildings is important to monitor the healthy status of the bridge buildings. For the defects of traditional pressure information collection system, the paper designs a system for collecting the pressure information of bridges based on the IoT. To meet the demand of real time, the system sends the pressure information collected by pressure sensors to the data processing center through the CAN bus. Before storing the pressure information into the database, the system will fill the incomplete pressure information to provide the bridge experts with useful information. Simulation experiments show the system can collect the pressure information of bridges in real time and meet the demand of bridge experts.

Owing to the inefficiency and difficulty in finding out the position of books in library, this paper designed a positioning system, which is based on QR code and can be used to find out where the book is in real-time. In the design, a QR code is an identity of the position. The mobile wireless cameras, which were set on the bookshelves, acquire the image of QR code and then send it to data processing center. The processing center generates a two-dimensional localization image of books after the QR was decoded, then stores the localization image in the database in order that the readers or managerial staves can get the books they need quickly and easily after retrieving. This paper presents the structure of the positioning system from the perspective of software and hardware, and the feasibility of the design has been proved by practice test. This design also has certain reference value to the promotion of the QR code in other management fields.

This paper presents results of investigating, designing, and building a monitoring system in real-time based on GNSS CORS technology in order to monitor landslides at Xekaman 3 hydropower plant in the Lao people’s Democratic Republic. A system with 18 monitoring stations and a CORS station has been designed to ensure the operation of system 24/7. The connection diagram for data transmission from the monitoring stations to the data processing center, as well as the connection diagram of the devices at a monitoring station has been designed. A simulation experiment has shown that the designed system can be applied for real-time monitoring of landslide.

In order to make electric cars running stably under our control, this paper introduces a measurement network for electric cars based on CAN-BUS. There are 9 CAN nodes in the network, 8 measure nodes based on MCU for sampling 146 parameters and 1 display & record node based on PC104 for recording and displaying the information. By using flash disk, the recorded data can be transferred to PC where each parameter can be curved and analyzed. At last, it ticks off the examination result in Shandong Electric Vehicle Testing Base. The accurate measurement of the parameters, real-time record, communication normal work, data processing shows that the running motors is more stable and achieves the expected results.
