The rigidity and density changes of foundation soil were studied in this paper ,as well as the change rules of earthquake wave spread effect and site dynamic characters, through comprehensive wave velocity test and the computer simulation,in which the ground water level change was taken into consideration . According to the engineering examples, the effect of the fluctuation of underground water level on the site predominant period is analyzed.

Canal bridge and aqueduct main foundation types include well column, pier, bored piles, bent pile etc. Most of these foundations are in low-lying conduit. The water content of foundation soil is very rich. Especially pile foundation in the drain, due to the high underground water level, pile foundation around soil is in a state full of water. So such type of foundation freeze injury phenomenons are very serious. In order to solve such freeze injury problems, some antifreezing measures are adopted.

AbstractComplex of Nature reservation Zbytka is the rest of various fen vegetation in the northeast part of the Czech Republic. It represents an important spring area which provides high quality potable water for more than 150 000 inhabitants. Waterworks utilization was started in the 1960s and the change of land-use practices has had a strong effect on the ecosystem. Oak chronology has been showing different tree growth trends since the start of the waterworks utilization. Also the occurrences of negative pointer years differ markedly before and after initiation of pumping underground water. Dendroclimatological analyses primarily revealed a close relationship between the temperature and tree growth — positive influence of spring and summer temperature. The period 1983–1992 of maximum artesian water pumping is expressed as higher tree-ring increments, but linear model analyses showed that the growth reaction of oak is not due to simple causality between temperature and under-ground water level. The radial increments reacted positively to the combination of high temperature during the vegetation season and low or, the contrary, high depth of underground water level. No direct relationship was detected between tree growth and fluctuation of underground water level; despite of the results dendrochronological data may be useful in historical ground water modelling studies. Results are also crucial for conflict of interests between nature preservation and potable water supply.

Rapid increase of underground water use started in 1990 when HCM City were urbanized, people and the industries used underground water as the main water resource. Until now, underground water level is decreasing (annual drawdown: 2m depth at the heavy ground water pumping stations) that may cause deform of soil at few areas with large exploitation capacity wells. This paper demonstrates the use of GIS for mapping susceptible areas for a study site, aims to achieve a sustainable groundwater management. It also discusses the potential use of GIS for assessing subsidence impacts due to underground water extraction in HCM City.

The buildings are constructed on the slope side, to avoid digging massively fill geotechnical Engineering, according to the slope potential's change, the pile foundation makes not the contour form generally, when the subsoil water level rises or the reservoir stores, partial pile bottom is often under the water level, which causes the ground the supporting capacity and the rigidity to change.Adds it when the structural design “the pile- earth-superstructure” will be separated from the consideration frequently, even if considering it together frequently also often neglects the influence of the water level change on the overall construction. As the accident which according to this design's construction structure the dehiscence or the entire construction collapse sometimes occur. In order to avoid this kind of accident's occurrence, we must make it clear that the influence of the water level change on the structure supporting capacity. Based on this, this article takes some storehouse ashore 8 portal frame construction's pile foundation as an example, through finite element software establish “pile-earth-superstructure” three-dimensional moldel, the model analyzes the pile, the earth and the superstructure internal force and displacement's change under the water level change. The analysis result indicated that the water level change causes the structure the internal force and the distortion increases, particularly the pile foundation exists changes the region highly the superstructure. When construction structural design should be considered fully the influence of the groundwater level change on the superstructure, thus makes the structural design be safer reasonably
