In combination landslide evaluation with three-dimensional visualization of geographic information system and using virtual reality technology to build a 3D visualization platform for landslide assessment, as a whole, it is more vivid and intuitive synthesis of landslide visualization research. Based on the design principle of the analysis on system separately from the data acquisition and processing for construction of three-dimensional model, the landslide process rehearsal, stages of disaster evaluation and other aspects of the system are analyzed and studied, which provides a powerful tool for the study and prevention of geological disaster. Moreover, it can bring significant benefits to society, economic and ecological system.

The paper puts forward the methodologies for the virtual restoration of the archeological artifacts that were obtained from the various missions. The proposed methodology combines the both the augmented and the virtual reality (C-ARVR) technologies enabling a virtual restoration of the artifacts that were damaged by visualizing the virtual three dimensional model with the actual one. The methodology provides an enhanced perception of the damaged substances. This enables the restoration of the historical artifacts that are more valuable.

In order to improve the training effect, according to the mechanical structure of switch machine, combined with unity3D engine, a set of automatic learning system for switch machine based on virtual reality technology is designed. It realizes the guided teaching of switch equipment ,such as structure composition, three-dimensional model demonstration of action process and virtual disassembly. The system significantly improves the quality of training.
