According to the theory that electromagnetic waves diffract when approaching obstacles, the thesis focuses on the airport terminal area obstacles affection on the performance of Instrument Landing System (ILS). It is done through calculating of the first Fresnel zone radius and clearance and the electromagnetic environment radiation distribution of the ground station via Single-Wedge Model on the basis of combining the Instrument Landing Systemin the civil aviation airport terminal area and abstracted general theoretical model. This research can provide theoretical basis for the arrangement of navigation station and evaluation of the ILS glide slope in a practical airport environment. Therefore, the study is of magnificent importance for the safe operation of the civil aviation airport.

We focus on the spatiotemporal characteristics and their evolvement law of the air traffic flow in airport terminal area to provide scientific basis for optimizing flight control processes and alleviating severe air traffic conditions. Methods in this work combine mathematical derivation and simulation analysis. Based on cell transmission model the macroscopic models of arrival and departure air traffic flow in terminal area are established. Meanwhile, the interrelationship and influential factors of the three characteristic parameters as traffic flux, density, and velocity are presented. Then according to such models, the macro emergence of traffic flow evolution is emulated with the NetLogo simulation platform, and the correlativity of basic traffic flow parameters is deduced and verified by means of sensitivity analysis. The results suggest that there are remarkable relations among the three characteristic parameters of the air traffic flow in terminal area. Moreover, such relationships evolve distinctly with the flight procedures, control separations, and ATC strategies.

As it involves the safety of flight and passenger’s life, requirement for intelligentized project construction of airport terminal is considerably high. We firstly analyze the basic structure of intelligentized project for airport terminal, subsequently make mainly research on the three sub-systems included in the dedicated civil aviation intelligence system, further analyze the latest developing trend of the current international intelligentized airport terminal system, and in the end, make strategic proposals with a view to solve the problem in the country’s terminal-junction airport intelligentized construction. This research will be sound reference for intelligentized airport terminal construction.

Substantial increase in the amount of civil aviation traffic and other factors have led to frequent congestion and adverse effects in terminal area. Therefore, the landing sequence of aircrafts need to be managed so as to reduce adverse effects. This type of problem is called Aircraft Landing Problem (ALP), and is an optimization problem. In this paper, the current situation of ALP research is analysed. The specific process of landing is described, and the existing research problems are classified. At the same time, on the aspect of optimization, this paper discusses the optimization processing of ALP, including the establishment of optimization model and the design of optimization algorithm. In the last, the future research trend of ALP is proposed as conclusions.

With the vigorous development of China's civil aviation industry and the advertising industry in recent years, airport image as a "commanding city height" has increasingly attracted attention of many as an ideal place for advertising and corporation image display. Airport advertising communication constitutes audience including government officials, high-level policy makers, corporate travel managers and travelers, in which high-income earners and foreign guests take a higher proportion. Airport advertising (on free media and aviation propaganda machine business supplies media) main involves two categories: outdoor advertising on the airport perimeter and expressway and advertising inside the terminal. In a broad sense, they all belong to the category of outdoor advertising.

AbstractFresnel zone plates consisting of multiple concentric rings have been realized by tailoring amplitude, phase and polarization of light, but conventional Fresnel zone plates require totally different materials to control each property reducing light controllability. Here, a metasurface zone plate in which rings are composed of subwavelength antenna arrays is proposed to individually control amplitude, phase and polarization by the consistent material platform of metasurfaces. Hence, versatile degrees of freedom can be achieved to focus electromagnetic waves. We verify that dielectric metasurfaces can generate arbitrary poloarization states to cover the whole Poincaré sphere in the visible regime, allowing light manipulation in the vectorial regime, which is not feasible by a conventional single liquid crystal film. Experimental demonstration of a polarization-modulated metasurface zone plate confirms the functional capability of dielectric metasurfaces exhibiting higher focusing efficiency than amplitude-modulated zone plates.
