Based on the working principle of the capacitive sensor, according to the requirements of deep hole diameter measuring, a capacitance probe sensor was designed, and then the design and type-selection of probe structure, cable inner structure to the capacitance probe sensor were done. At the same time, in order to overcome the measurement error caused by eccentricity, the capacitance sensor probe and inner hole of the corresponding fastener both are designed to a taper, taper positioning is relatively accurate positioning way. The design is to avoid the measurement position offset, and ensures the coaxality on the mechanical structure. The equipotential ring technology effectively overcomes the problem of edge effect of capacitance sensor, and makes the probe’s effective measurement electrode under the condition of limited long, can effectively guarantee the measure precision. By moving the capacitance probe in the hole to the different position, we will realize the deep hole diameter measurement in different cross section.

nner hole diameter measuring system based on capacitive sensor was introduced in this paper, the structure characteristic of coaxial cylindrical capacitive probe in measuring inner hole diameter was analyzed;aiming at the signal analysis and control for the whole measurement system, the equipotential guard ring technique was adopted to eliminate edge effect caused for the sensors effective measuring polar plate, the transform circuit with operational amplifier was adopted to overcome the nonlinear defects resulted from polar distance change, the driving cables technique was used to reduce the influence of parasitic capacitance;and then we realize the precision diameter measurement in holes any depth.

Sun basking is the most common method for freshwater turtles, such as the European pond turtle, to maintain optimal body temperature. The attributes of the macro- and microhabitat features around the basking sites affect the basking site selection of the European pond turtle. To protect the European pond turtle, it is important to know the basking habits among the biological characteristics of the species, along with the effects of the habitat characteristics and the choice of the type of basking sites. The purpose of our research was to detect the effects of macro- and microhabitat features on the selection of basking sites. We wanted to determine basking site type selection according to the carapace length classes and if there is any difference in the choice of basking trunks and branches with different thicknesses. Turtles choose basking sites with less closed vegetation in their environment. We have detected seasonal differences in the microhabitat features. The closing reed and Typha sp. had a negative effect on the number of observed basking turtles. The most popular type of basking sites in the pond system was the commonly occurred fallen tree trunks and branches in the water, regardless of turtle body size. Most turtles used thinner tree trunks and branches for basking. In the meantime, we found differences in the choice of basking trunks between the turtles with different body sizes. Younger turtles with smaller bodies appeared in larger numbers on emergent branches with smaller diameters.

The application of soot-blower is the primary means for solving the fouling and slagging of coal-fired boilers. And appropriate soot-blowing will greatly improve the efficiency of boilers. Therefore, selecting the appropriate type of soot-blower is surely important. This paper analyzes the working principle, technical characteristics, and application scope of steam soot-blowers, gas pulse shock soot-blowers, acoustic soot-blowers and air shock soot-blowers which are common in boilers. It raises a proposal that different types of soot-blowers should be used in different positions of boilers.
