The internal logistics system planning in distribution center includes: processes planning; functional area layout planning; facilities and equipment selection configuration; cargo storage planning. In recent years, China has the unprecedented scale of logistics park construction. In order to build a scientific and rational logistics infrastructure, it has a very practical value to research the theory and method of internal logistics system planning in distribution center. From the point of reality, this paper studies the processes planning, functional area layout planning, facilities and equipment selection configuration and cargo storage planning. Using the planning methods and models presented in this paper we can design processes, quantitatively plan facilities in distribution, improve operational efficiency and reduce operating costs in distribution center.

Function area layout of underground distribution center is an important part of urban underground distribution center planning so that it would indirectly affect the building and development of underground distribution center and even the whole urban underground logistics system. Based on Automod simulation platform, the function area layout planning method was built in order to avoid underground operation invalidation because of the illogical function area layout. First by analyzing relative operation of underground distribution center, multi-objective 0-1 mixed integer programming model of function area layout was built based on two indexes of relativity and transit cost among function areas. Then the heuristic algorithm or exact algorithm was used to solve the mathematical model mathematical model and find out the layout scheme after quantifying the indicators. Finally the final layout was gained by simulation and optimization of Automod simulation platform. There was an example for proving the feasibility of the method. The results showed that the method was available to analyze the function area layout impact and it was very important for decision-making of building the underground distribution center.

Abstract The article focuses on the current use of NATO’s logistics information systems in NATO’s defense planning and operational planning process in the logistics area. Information support is provided through NATO Logistics Functional Area Services (LOGFAS) Logistics Systems, which create the necessary information environment through individual software tools. In order to improve logistical information support, NATO is in parallel preparing for the modernization of the existing information environment and developing LOG FS project that should replace existing information systems in the future, optimize information support, bring new functions and enable logistics operations coordination within NATO’s integrated command and control network and between alliance and nations.

This paper provides a framework to analyze the maturity of humanitarian logistics systems to face crisis situations related to recurrent events, and thus to identify the main areas of action and the community needs in terms of crisis logistics planning. First, the main notions of humanitarian logistics systems planning, and the theoretical contribution of maturity models are presented. Second, a maturity model for humanitarian logistics systems is proposed and the main categories of elements defining maturity extracted from literature. Then, the methodology to define the main elements of the maturity model via evidence is presented. This methodology combines a literature overview, a documentary analysis, and the development of three case studies, two located in Colombia and one in Peru. The main elements that characterize capability maturity model in humanitarian logistics systems facing recurrent crises are identified, from which the administration of donations, design of a distribution network, and the choice of suppliers are highlighted. The practical implications of the framework are proposed to allow its use to anticipate humanitarian logistics system for future crises. The framework allowed a first analysis guide and will be further extended.

Logistics Park as a highly centralized logistics distribution center, information construction is very an important platform to society. In this paper, Xi'an comprehensive bonded zone as an example, the Internet of things technology for the construction of logistics park information platform focusing on the design of cloud computing data center, and realizing the sharing of logistics information. [3] Logistics Park as a highly centralized logistics distribution center, the establishment of a unified information platform is the development direction of park information application. However, because the logistics park operation is complex and uncertainty, information management platform for the management information systems in general, can not adapt to the characteristics of park operations flexible, restricted the development of the park.

Cost rationalization has become imperative in every economic system in order to create adequate foundations for its efficient and sustainable management. Competitiveness in the global market is extremely high and it is challenging to manage business and logistics systems, especially in regards to financial parameters. The presence of inventories is inevitability in every logistics system, and it tends to create adequate policies for their efficient and sustainable management. In order to be able to do this, it is necessary to determine which products represent the largest percentage share in the value of procurement, and which are the most represented quantitatively. In this paper, the warehouse of construction material that represents the wholesale system is considered. Taking into account that it is wholesale, it is necessary to determine what the procurement costs are and what the demand is for certain products. The grouping of products into three categories A, B and C was performed, after which it is necessary to identify appropriate suppliers for each category in order to rationalize procurement costs. Financial, logistical and quality parameters are taken into account. The FUCOM method has been used to determine the significance of these parameters and ARAS method is applied for supplier evaluation and selection.

Distribution center plays an important role in the whole supply chain, and distribution center location decision is the core content of logistics systems analysis. Based on the analysis of the object of supply chain distribution center location, the main influence factors of the supply chain distribution center location were divided by using the ISM model, and a multi-grade hierarchical structure diagram of distribution center location was designed. By combining qualitative and quantitative methods, the hierarchical relationship of the main influence factors of supply chain distribution centers location is clarified.
