Diesel Engine Running at Constant Speed Base on Fuzzy Control Strategy

The functional relationship among the cylic oil quality of diesel engine, rack displacement and the engine speed was obtained by Orthogonal Test, significance of the regression equation was test by variance analysis. Based on the model, using the fuzzy control method, the voltage to stepping motor was controlled by the method according to the engine speed and its variation rate, which can controll the diesel engine speed percisely. From the simulation result, it shows that the diesel engine run at the range of the set speed effectively by the fuzzy control strategy, and controlling effect is significant.

Uninterrupted Shift Transmission (UST) is a novel vehicle transmission and which is introduced as the research object in this paper. It realizes torque uninterrupted shift by controlling dual multimode controlled shifter (MCS) modes and synchronizers. Fuzzy control technology is adopted in shift control strategy in order to improve its shift quality. Experimental results show that the fuzzy control strategy can improve the shift quality of UST effectively.

An improved control strategy for three-phase grid-connected inverters with space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) is proposed. When the grid current contains harmonics, the d-and q-axes grid currents is interacted in the traditional control method, and the waveform quality of the grid current is poor. As the reference output voltage cannot directly reflect the change of the reference grid current with the traditional control strategy, the dynamic response of the grid-connected inverter is slow. In order to solve the aforementioned problems, the d-and q-axes grid currents in the decoupled components of the grid current controller are substituted by the d-and q-axes reference grid currents, respectively. The operating principles of the traditional and proposed control methods are illustrated. Experimental results show that the grid-connected inverter with the improved control strategy has high waveform quality of the grid current and fast dynamic response.

The clutch control is one of the cores and most difficult issues in the development of an AMT system. In this paper the pneumatic clutch engagement characteristic is analyzed. Thereto, a simulation model of an automotive powertrain comprises a diesel engine, drivetrain and wheels driving a vehicle through tire-road adhesion are built using Matlab/Simulink. In the simulation, a refined control law of constant engine speed in part process is proposed and tested. The engaging speed and displacement of the clutch vary with the accelerate paddle opening, engine speed, clutch driven plate speed and gears according the control law. Field experiment results show that the control strategy fulfills the system requirements.

This thesis puts forward one optimal adaptive fuzzy control method based on the pure electric vehicle energy management system of the fuzzy control which has been founded already. By adding an optimizing researching model based on the conventional fuzzy control strategy, the thesis can pick up the valuable control rules based on the dynamic programming theory and also can adjust the parameter of the fuzzy controller automatically according to the system operating. These can make the sum of the energy loss reduce to the min. The experiment points out that this method makes the vehicle possess good economic performance in the same driving cycle.
