The availability of public transport is one of the solutions to traffic congestion in Jakarta. Focusing on angkot, one of the public transport types in Jakarta, this study discusses a model and simulations to investigate several factors that affect its lateral stability. Those factors include rear tire inflation pressure, passenger configuration, velocity, and downhill inclination angle. The results show that the stability of an angkot is proportional to the rear tires cornering stiffness. It also has an indirect relationship with the passenger configuration within the angkot. Moreover, the stability of an angkot decreases as its velocity and the angle of the inclined road increase. In general, this study is expected to have a contribution to the development of public transport in Jakarta, especially angkot.

The loss and theft of radioactive material in transport can be attributed to the illegal movement. In order to distinguish it from the movement caused by the turbulence of the transportation vehicle, this paper proposes the criterion of “illegal movement” as the movement of radioactive materials outside the transportation compartment. Since the interior of the compartment is generally a metal environment, this paper proposes wireless signal strength data as a sensing method. The wireless signal strength data is filtered and converted into distance data. We construct a spatial triangle perpendicular to the top and sides of the compartment based on the distance data. When the radioactive material is inside the compartment, the angle between its corresponding point and the top plane of the compartment is less than 90°. Once it moves out of the compartment, the angle will be greater than 90°. Based on this, a sensing method of “illegal movement” based on spatial triangles is proposed. The simulation research shows that the scheme proposed in this paper is feasible.

In order to realize emission-free solutions and clean transportation alternatives, this paper presents a new DC converter with pulse frequency control for a battery charger in electric vehicles (EVs) or light electric vehicles (LEVs). The circuit configuration includes a resonant tank on the high-voltage side and two variable winding sets on the output side to achieve wide output voltage operation for a universal LEV battery charger. The input terminal of the presented converter is a from DC microgrid with voltage levels of 380, 760, or 1500 V for house, industry plant, or DC transportation vehicle demands, respectively. To reduce voltage stresses on active devices, a cascade circuit structure with less voltage rating on power semiconductors is used on the primary side. Two resonant capacitors were selected on the resonant tank, not only to achieve the two input voltage balance problem but also to realize the resonant operation to control load voltage. By using the variable switching frequency approach to regulate load voltage, active switches are turned on with soft switching operation to improve converter efficiency. In order to achieve wide output voltage capability for universal battery charger demands such as scooters, electric motorbikes, Li-ion e-trikes, golf carts, luxury golf cars, and quad applications, two variable winding sets were selected to have a wide voltage output (50~160 V). Finally, experiments with a 1 kW rated prototype were demonstrated to validate the performance and benefits of presented converter.

A qualitative research was conducted from March 2019 to August 2019 at KrongBong district general healthcare, Daklak province to evaluate the current situation of medical solid waste management at the hospital in 2019. The results indicated that most of the solid waste management at KrongBong District General Hospital have fulfilled the criteria specified in Circular 58. However, there still have some activities, such as there was no specialized waste transportation vehicle, the conventional solid waste storage was not performed well, the treatment of recycled solid waste was not in accordance with regulations. Besides, the hospital has not paid much attention to the inspection and supervision of solid waste management in departments and has not imposed sanctions, rewards or penalties for the waste management.

ABSTRACT             The development of technology gave birth to a new system in passenger transportation vehicle, one of that development is online-based transportation. The transportation user is increasing, but there was obscured legal relations between passengers, online-based transportation companies and insurance company. Legal certainty of security guarantee, safety and passenger protection to get insurance according to Law Number 33 Year 1964 also vague from social-security context.             This study used normative juridical method. Statute Approach and Conceptual Approach with normative analysis (Content Analysis) used to examine the legal substance that has collected using literature study on the main legal substance sources of Law Number 33 Year 1964 and Law Number 22 Year 2009 .            The results of this research convice that legal relations created between passengers and online-based transportation companies is the conveyance agreement, while the online-based transportation companies with the insurance company is the compulsive insurance, as the premium payer is the online-based transportation companies and the insured is the passenger with State-Owned Enterprise insurance company as the insurer. Guarantee from Law Number 33 Year 1964 given to casualty if the victims get injury or disability, but if they gone, the insurer gave compensation to their heir. The premium amount and passenger insurance was stipulated in Regulation of the Finance Ministry Number 15/PMK/0.10/2017. Insurance scope guarantee from board until debark the online-based transportation. Suicide, vehicle races, accident due to war, and natural disaster makes claim rejected. Insurance expiration is six months from accident, three months since submission, and three months after approval for insurance payments.  Keywords: Coverage, Basic Protection, Onlinse-based Application

Troop movement involves transporting military personnel from one location to another using available means. To minimize damage from enemies, the military simultaneously uses reconnaissance and transportation units during troop movements. This paper proposes a vehicle routing problem considering reconnaissance and transportation (VRPCRT) for wartime troop movements. The VRPCRT is formulated as a mixed-integer programming model for minimizing the completion time of wartime troop movements and reconnaissance, and transportation vehicle routes were determined simultaneously in the VRPCRT. For this paper, an ant colony optimization (ACO) algorithm for the VRPCRT was also developed, and computational experiments were conducted to compare the ACO algorithm’s performance and that of the mixed-integer programming model. The performance of the ACO algorithm was shown to yield excellent results even for the real-size problem. Furthermore, a sensitivity analysis of the change in the number of reconnaissance and transportation vehicles was performed, and the effects of each type of vehicle on troop movement were analyzed.
