Building material industry which belongs to High-carbon is facing severe challenges and great opportunity when coping with global climatic change. Low-carbon is an inevitable trend that economy grows. Low-carbon economy is the backbone for economic transition and also the right way for people move towards future .By means of structural adjustment and technology innovation building material industry is destined to achieve full vitality in the transition to the low-carbon economy.

the development of low carbon building is not only the requirement of current economic transition,it is also the realistic choice to implement Scientific Development Concept and to build "two type society". This paper briefly describes the connotation of low carbon buildings , and then illustrates the low-carbon economy background, the necessity of low carbon building development, and finally put forward the corresponding path selection.

Building material industry can absorb lots of scrap of chemical industry, metallurgical industry and coal industry. Through our further study on the application of cyclic economy in the building materials industry, we initially summarize the co-production models between building materials industry and other industries, such as coal, metallurgy and mining, based on the recycling economy. The models also represent the basic patterns which can recycle mineral resources and reuse energy efficially. We advice some possible countermeasures though analysis of the domestic application of these models in the current problems and challenges.

Abstract The development of green finance helps to promote the transition to a low-carbon economy. Using data from 30 provinces in China from 2001-2019, we empirically examine the impact of green finance on the transition to a low-carbon economy and further explore the mediating role of low-carbon technological innovation in this facilitation process. The study finds that (1) green finance can significantly contribute to the transformation of the low-carbon economy from China as a whole. However, when China is divided into four regions: east, central, west and northeast, the contribution of green finance to the low-carbon economic transition in the west is not significant. (2) After adding low-carbon technologies to the model, green finance still has a significant contribution to the low-carbon economic transition, but this contribution decreases with the intervention of low-carbon technologies. (3) There is a strong spatial dependence between green finance development and low-carbon economic transformation in 30 Chinese provinces. However, the dependence among provinces tends to weaken after 2011. And the overall green financial development in China shows a positive spillover effect on the low-carbon economic transition. Based on the analysis results, several countermeasures are proposed to promote the further development of China's low-carbon economy.

Globalization and urbanization growth are disbalancing the nature by creating technology and by increasing population respectively. Population growth is generating trash including the non-renewable ones. Use and throw objects came into existence and as a result, created wastes. After decades, the waste is generating beyond limits that it has created the mountain like piles in the landfills, which is creating hazards for the environment and human health. A better approach to reduce the waste is to recycle and reuse them as an alternative solution to building material industry. The question which arises here is that if wastes should be recycled or reused; what all are the waste materials which can be reused in building material industry without harming the environment. The recycling of waste materials produces lot of demerits to environment and human health. Polyethylene and rubber tires are being used in preparing the roads, plastic bottles are being used to build walls, fly ash is used in bricks etc. measures are being taken. The research paper will try to do a detailed SWOT analysis to find a suitable reusable waste material for building material industry, which will be environment friendly. The plastic waste, construction demolition waste and transport industry waste are the wastes that can be reused as building materials. The 3 wastes have the ability to withstand calamities and loads, are easy to build with, cheap, clean and has passed the structural tests. The paper intends to provide the information regarding the construction with the help of the 3 materials. This approach will help to manage the waste, build a sustainable environment, lower the greenhouse gases, maintain the natural resources etc.

The container building is emerging products on the container’s market. Container architecture reflects the low carbon building the "energy" and "low carbon" characteristics, it is sustainable. In the world, we hope a low carbon economy development, on this way, the design of the building with container transformation is a new design in the exploration of how to reduce building materials’ carbon emissions in the process. It emphasizes the construction of green concept container.

Since the British first proposed the concept of "low-carbon economy", the international community had made a great effort in controlling greenhouse gas emissions and developing a low-carbon economy. However, the development of low-carbon economy is a top-down economic transformation driven by policy, which is different from the bottom-up economic transition driven by technology progress in the past. The influence of policy-making in low-carbon economy is everywhere, so the study of policy formulation and decision-making can be significant for low-carbon economy transition. This paper delivers a policy influence research method by constructing a regional low-carbon development model based on System Dynamics, and validates this model by comparing the simulation data and the Chinese calendar year statistics. Finally, some policy making suggestions based on the research are provided.

Global energy shortages and climate change promote low-carbon economy become an important research focus. The application mode of low-carbon economy in the construction of new residential area has important theoretical and practical value for the promotion of sustainable development in resource-based society. In this paper, a “Green residence” mode is discussed by using the low-carbon technology of heat preservation and the renew resources application. The “Green residence” integrates the ecological energy resources such as solar energy system, biomass energy, gray-water system and building materials. The mode focuses on the environmental protection and low-carbon emission, and tries to provide some guide for the construction of new residential area.
