Objectives: We calculate the coupling coordination degree between modern logistics industry and high-quality development of regional economy in Hunan Province from 2008 to 2019. Methods: In this study, the coupling coordination degree model is constructed and the calculation is carried out based on Principal Component Analysis (PCA). Results: (1) The degree of coupling coordination between modern logistics industry and high-quality development of regional economy in Hunan province is generally on the rise from 2008 to 2019. (2) From 2013 to 2019, the development of modern logistics industry and regional economy in Hunan Province has been in a state of "high-level coordination". The 19th National Congress clearly put forward high-quality development. From 2018 to 2019, the degree of coupled and coordinated development between modern logistics industry and high-quality development of regional economy in Hunan Province showed a state of "high-level coordination". According to this conclusion, Combined with the "three highs and four new" strategy and the urban requirements of the new development concept in Hunan Province, this paper puts forward some suggestions on promoting the modern logistics industry in Hunan Province and promoting the coordinated development of regional economy with high quality.

Abstract With the development of information network technology, online shopping has become more and more accepted and chosen by people, the demand for logistics and express delivery industry is also increasing. In today’s e-commerce era, the global logistics industry has a new development trend, called modern logistics. In modern logistics, the requirements for the important link of warehouse logistics and distribution are also increasing. The goal of supply chain management is to achieve maximum operational efficiency while minimizing capital investment, which is of great significance for e-logistics distribution. Based on this, this paper explores the application of Internet of Things technology in the supply chain management of e-logistics.

With the continuous development of big data and the increasing maturity of e-commerce, people’s requirements for modern logistics are becoming increasingly diversified. Conventional modern logistics service level is insufficient to meet the needs of consumers. Therefore, research on the innovative path of big data analysis of leasing trade under smart logistics technology is increasingly important. Smart logistics pays much attention to the integration of the Internet of Things, sensor networks, and the existing internet and realizes the automation, visualization, controllability, intelligence, and networking of logistics through sophisticated, dynamic, and scientific management, thereby improving resource utilization rate and productivity level, creating a more comprehensive connotation of social value. This work aimed to study the use of smart logistics technology to make electric car leasing to a higher level and to innovate the promotion and use mode of leasing trade. A shared business model of electric vehicles was proposed based on the internet and smart logistics technology. The experimental results showed that smart logistics technology contributes to exploring and expanding the role of electric vehicles in solving group users’ short-distance travel and improving an urban transportation system. It could offer a basis for nationwide promotion, thus promoting the development of the new energy vehicle industry and testing the practicability of the model. Regarding the improvement of the sample information system, the experimental results showed that the user’s full satisfaction is approximately 50%, while there remain the customers who would ask for further improvements. Besides, most customers believe that the accuracy and sensitivity of the existing in-vehicle information display need to be enhanced.

The optimization of transportation path for distribution vehicles, which is about the mixed tabu search method, can not only reduce the cost but also improve the optimization of the vehicle transportation path. This algorithm first studies the current situation of the logistics distribution vehicle transportation path and then uses the hybrid tabu search method to calculate the vehicle transportation path. According to the real case analysis, it can be proved that the hybrid tabu search calculation method can improve the efficiency, the proposed modern logistics distribution vehicle transportation path is also the best method, and the transportation cost is greatly reduced.

PurposeThe purpose of this paper is to deal with the practical challenge faced by modern logistics enterprises to accurately evaluate driving performance with high computational efficiency under the disturbance of road smoothness and to identify significantly associated performance influence factors.Design/methodology/approachThe authors cooperate with a logistics server (G7) and establish a driving grading system by constructing real-time inertial navigation data-enabled indicators for both driving behaviour (times of aggressive speed change and times of lane change) and road smoothness (average speed and average vibration times of the vehicle body).FindingsThe developed driving grading system demonstrates highly accurate evaluations in practical use. Data analytics on the constructed indicators prove the significances of both driving behaviour heterogeneity and the road smoothness effect on objective driving grading. The methodologies are validated with real-life tests on different types of vehicles, and are confirmed to be quite effective in practical tests with 95% accuracy according to prior benchmarks. Data analytics based on the grading system validate the hypotheses of the driving fatigue effect, daily traffic periods impact and transition effect. In addition, the authors empirically distinguish the impact strength of external factors (driving time, rainfall and humidity, wind speed, and air quality) on driving performance.Practical implicationsThis study has good potential for providing objective driving grading as required by the modern logistics industry to improve transparent management efficiency with real-time vehicle data.Originality/valueThis study contributes to the existing research by comprehensively measuring both road smoothness and driving performance in the driving grading system in the modern logistics industry.

Abstract: Companies are chasing the most efficient and modern logistics processes, constantly developing in improving both goods and services to win in the fight for attention and loyalty of customers. Logistics processes have a significant impact on the economy of the enterprise, form its financial indicators, affect the market position of the economic entity. Procurement, warehousing, distribution, transportation should be analyzed and evaluated for efficiency.

The concept of logistics is a supply chain system to facilitate the movement of goods and resources (raw materials), delivery scheduling, storage, and marketing to consumer endpoints that support economic growth. The increase in logistics transportation also has a negative impact, especially environmental problems, the effectiveness of logistics transportation, and the quality of materials and goods which will eventually involve economic problems. This article aims to compare the implementation of modern logistics transportation systems in the European Union and Indonesia with the application of green logistics. This study uses a comparative study method with a qualitative descriptive approach to modern logistics transportation that applies the concept of green logistics. The problem of European Union logistics transportation is only in the human resources sector and congestion in a certain period. The solution is to add regulations related to alternative or manipulated road systems to reduce congestion. On the other hand, the problems that exist in Indonesia are related to the low facilities, regulations, and investment for logistics transportation. As a solution, several regulations and programs have been implemented as a green logistics concept such as anti-ODOL regulations, and the sea toll program.
