Nowadays, the condition monitoring and intelligent fault diagnosis methods research of the needling loom in our country is still a blank. How to establish the appropriate monitoring methods under different working conditions becomes an important issue. In this article, some methods in terms of the open system construction proposed to work out the problems above, which is the Needle Loom condition monitoring system based on working condition parameters. This system take full advantage of the rapid development of hardware and software technology, providing online or offline information to remote monitoring terminals for different processing conditions, enriching remote monitoring data sources, integrated with realizing the needle loom field condition monitoring and the physical state online detections.

A drill set working condition monitoring system is introduced and investigated to improve the performance of auto-balancing machine. The experiment setup to acquire data of armature currents of spindle and servo motors is constructed. The features of the armature currents of both spindle motor and servo motor in time domain, frequency domain and time-frequency domain are extracted respectively, and they are fused separately by two distinct RBF ANNs to get the primary fusing results. The primary results are fused by the third RBF ANN to get a comprehensive result. Experiment results demonstrate that the servo motor current has a closer relation with drill set working condition than that of spindle motor, and two successive fusing operations can achieve more reliable recognition with a correctness up to 86.67%.

The mechanical characteristics and extremely hard working conditions of large die hydraulic press are considered. The limitations of traditional condition monitoring method are analyzed. A new condition monitoring system which consists of a digital and non-contact method for measuring column stress and a digital method for measuring moving beam’s spatial altitude based on machine vision is proposed. The basic principle and composition of the system are introduced in detail. The system is applied in 300MN large forging hydraulic press, and large amounts of monitoring data are collected. Data analysis is carried out. The laws of column stress distribution in different working conditions are found out. At last, some recommendations are proposed which is helpful for the safety operation and maintenance of large hydraulic press.

This paper presents a method to design the Rich Internet Application (RIA) based remote condition monitoring system. The contents include the structure of RIA based remote condition monitoring system, the design method of RIA based client program, and the design method of server program. The movability and cross-platform ability are two main advantages of this method. Two examples are also shown in the paper. One is to use a computer as the remote monitoring terminal, and another is to use a smart phone as the remote monitoring terminal.

The ever-increasing development of wind power plants has raised awareness that an appropriate condition monitoring system is required to achieve high reliability of wind turbines. In order to develop an efficient, accurate and reliable condition monitoring system, the operations of wind turbines need to be fully understood. This article focuses on the online condition monitoring of electrical, mechanical and structural components of a wind turbine to diminish downtime due to maintenance. Failure mechanisms of the most vulnerable parts of wind turbines and their root causes are discussed. State-of-the-art condition monitoring methods of the different parts of wind turbine such as generators, power converters, DC-links, bearings, gearboxes, brake systems and tower structure are reviewed. This article addresses the existing problems in some areas of condition monitoring systems and provides a novel method to overcome these problems. In this article, a comparison between existing condition monitoring techniques is carried out and recommendations on appropriate methods are provided. In the analysis of the technical literature, it is noted that the effect of wind speed variation is not considered for traditional condition monitoring schemes.

Set the alarm value in the condition monitoring system of hydropower unit to monitor unit state parameters, if the difference between the two values exceeds the safety threshold, the alarm works, it is an effective method. Now the state parameters alarm values are set up mainly for the stable operation area in the unit condition monitoring system, which were not suit for low load conditions and in the process of load. To realize the full condition dynamic alarm of hydroelectric generating units, they are two ways: (1), build unit state parameter prediction model, compared predict values with the measured values. (2), set the alarm line, when the measured value exceeds the alarm line, the alarm works,. These two methods are considered the working condition head and output .This paper introduces several different alarm line settings, such as line alarm, partition line alarm, dynamic alarm curve and dynamic alarm surface.
