The Canadian Ice Service (CIS) has made available online access to some collections of its ice service archive. Currently, most of these historical ice information services are organized by a sort of static map images and web pages. Users can only view static result images of sea ice analyses or download raw sea ice data from the site. However, it is difficult for users to generate customized analyses without sophisticated information technology (IT). This thesis focuses on a sea ice information system (SIIS) designed specifically to improve the current CIS website with a possible method in developing web-based sea ice GIS system. The main achievements of the thesis are: (1) it accomplishes an SIIS design based on the popular web application principle known as Rich Internet Application (RIA); (2) it applies many current technologies around RIA and GIS to improve system quality; and (3) a prototype system is also developed to demonstrate how GIS may help in improving GIS-based online ice information services.

Cardiovascular attack (heart) is the death of the heart muscle due to a sudden obstruction of the coronary artery by blood clotting. Wounds on the heart muscle cause chest pain and pressure. If blood flow is not restored again within 20 to 40 minutes, then the death of the heart muscle will no longer begin to occur. The muscle continues to die six to eight hours at a time when the heart attack is completely. Ruptured plaque creates blood clots. If the blood clot is large enough it can close the entire artery resulting in a heart attack. Most cardiovascular diseases are caused by high blood pressure. So the authors made cardiovascular detection research using interactive multimedia with rich internet application method. The software that supports in the creation of this application is Adobe Flash CS3, Action script as well as Dreamweaver. The methodology system development is multimedia with concept stages, design, material collecting, assembly, testing. This application aims to disease, causes, various diseases, symptoms, ways of prevention and treatment methods. be utilized as a medium of information and learning for cardiovascular people and for users about the definition of cardiovascular.

The article is devoted to description of the CyberArenaPro system for holding cyber competitions that provides convenience and ease of organizing competitions of various levels, allowing to hold competitions on the online venues around the world, increasing opportunities for participation in the competitions via the Internet and mobile devices. The program is designed to automate holding cybersport competitions of various levels (from local to international) and of any disciplines and formats. The system has a service-oriented architecture and uses the object-oriented Redis database. For a client implementation, the concept of Rich Internet Application, the ReactJS platform and the JavaSc programming language are applied. The server and the client applications are integrated with the API means. The automated system was tested during the organization of competitions in the computer club «CyberArena». Competitions were carried out in accordance with the discipline CS:GO, and 64 teams participated. The «CyberArenaPro» system can be used to organize competitions of any kind of sport.

Sejak dimulainya pada tahun 2004, era teknologi website modern mulai mengalami perubahan yang cukup signifikan. Hal ini ditandainya dengan adanya kemunculan era versi web yang mengusung teknologi web 2.0 berbasiskan Rich Internet Application (RIA). Dengan adanya teknologi web 2.0, maka salah satu perubahan yang tampak jelas pada halaman website adalah adanya partisipasi aktif dan kemampuan untuk berbagi informasi dari para pengguna yang mengunjungi sebuah halaman website. Penggunaan teknologi AJAX pada model website 2.0 juga menjadikan halaman website menjadi lebih responsif dan interaktif, selain itu dengan penggunaan AJAX maka halaman website 2.0 akan memiliki kecepatan akses yang lebih baik jika dibandingkan pada halaman website tradisional karena pertukaran data dan informasi yang dilakukan secara asynchronous dari komputer klien kepada server.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui cara kerja dari model website 2.0 yang menggunakan teknologi AJAX. Selain itu juga untuk melihat fitur-fitur yang ditawarkan pada model website 2.0 dengan teknologi AJAX, jika dibandingkan dengan fitur-fitur yang ditawarkan pada model aplikasi web tradisional yang hanya menggunakan HTML dan CSS. <p>Bimbingan Akademik yang terjadi pada STMIK Atma Luhur saat ini ada tetapi manual dan tidak terkontrol. Kegiatan pembimbing akademik hanya untuk mengentri kartu rencana studi mahasiswa setiap semester, konsultasi KRS yang akan di ambil mahasiswa dan konsultasi masalah yang lainnya dipegang oleh mahasiswa yang bersangkutan sedangkan dosen pembimbing akademik tidak memegang rekap konsultasi bimbingan akademik dan jika ditanyakan kepada dosen pembimbing akademik masing-masing. Kadang mereka kehilangan daftar mahasiswa yang harus di konsultasi. Sistem pembimbing akademik yang berbasis website ini bertujuan  untuk mengontrol mahasiswa yang di PA oleh dosen masing-masing dan data mahasiswa yang bimbingan terkontrol serta histori mahasiswa yang sudah bimbingan kepada dosen pembimbing akademik serta dosen pembimbing akademik dapat mencetak sewaktu-waktu data list mahasiswa yang bimbingan. Sistem PA ini dengan terapan teknologi Rich Internet Application (RIA) yang mempunyai karakteristik yaitu responsif dan interaktif. Penerapan rich internet application pada sistem pembimbing akademik yang berbasis website ini mampu berinteraksi dengan mahasiswa yang dibimbing dimanapun berada dengan karakteristik dari rich internet application yang interaktif dan responsif. Karakteristik RIA yang Interaktif pada sistem ini tersedia chat. Dimana memudahkan mahasiswa dan dosen pembimbing akademik untuk konsultasi. Adoption of rich Internet applications on the system of academic counselors based website is able to interact with students everywhere are guided by the characteristics of rich Internet applications, interactive and responsive. Characteristics of the Interactive RIA on this system is available chat. Where facilitate student and faculty academic supervisor for consultation.
