The thermal characteristics of the motorized spindle determines maching qualities and cutting capabilities, and is one of the important factors influencing the precision of the high speed NC machine tool. To improve the performance of the high speed machine tool, it is important to study the thermal characteristics of the motorized spindle. It had been studied in two ways: one is finite element analysis by Ansys software, in which the finite element analysis model was built. According to the actual working condition, the heat source and the heat transfer coefficient of every part are calculated. On this basis, the temperature field and temperature rises were gotten in Ansys software. The other way is temperature rises experiment on the motorized spindle test platform. The result was shown in the form of curve. These two ways shown the same result: the highest temperature rise appears in the area of electromotor, then followed by the rolling bearing .The result provides the necessary theory basis for optimizing the structure of the motorized spindle and establishes a basis for the research and application about the high speed spindle.

Taking the wheel-legged lunar rover based on double-half-revolution mechanism as a research object, this paper has made a dynamics simulation for the simplified virtual prototype model of lunar rover under several typical road conditions, with the purpose of obtaining the mechanical data of the wheel-leg planetary mechanism shafts. On this basis, this paper established the finite element analysis model of the wheel-leg planetary mechanism shafts, and analyzed their stress by using finite element analysis software ANSYS. Based on ANSYS Parametric Design Language (APDL), the optimization design for the above shafts were done combined with the least-square approximation optimization method. The results show that the optimized shafts not only meet the strength requirement, but also their weights are about 30% lower than the original, which will provide a new and effective way for optimizing the whole wheel-leg structure of lunar rover.

Gravity anchor is one of essential forced components of steady suspension bridge. The paper takes the example of the finite element numerical simulation of steady suspension bridge gravity anchor, main contents include: First, performance parameters of concrete and hydration heat of cement is collected, the one-fourth block of anchor model is established by large-scale general finite element software ANSYS. The process of establishing finite element analysis model includes the input of the model parameters, the boundary conditions set of finite element model, and the mesh of finite element analysis model. Then, the numerical simulation computation to temperature field of gravity anchor is carried by finite element software ANSYS. Finally, from the temperature field distribution curves, studying the temperature distribution rule of concrete pouring and drawing some conclusions.

The finite element analysis method of falling-object protective structure (FOPS) for the loader is presented in this paper. Taking FOPS for CL958 type loader as an example, this paper builds the analysis model in ANSYS, obtains the displacement of the load center and the maximum deformation of FOPS caused by the impact load and proves the safety by the drop test. It provides the theoretical basis and design principle for the optimization design and reliability design of FOPS for the loader.

We propose a model to give us a method to investigate the characteristic three-dimensional directivity in an arbitrarily configured flexible electret-based loudspeaker. In recent years, novel electret loudspeakers have attracted much interest due to their being lightweight, paper thin, and possessing excellent mid- to high-frequency responses. Increasing or decreasing the directivity of an electret loudspeaker makes it excellent for adoption to many applications, especially for directing sound to a particular area or specific audio location. Herein, we detail a novel electret loudspeaker that possesses various directivities and is based on various structures of spacers instead of having to use multichannel amplifiers and a complicated digital control system. In order to study the directivity of an electret loudspeaker based on an array structure which can be adopted for various applications, the horizontal and vertical polar directivity characteristics as a function of frequency were simulated by a finite-element analysis model. To validate the finite-element analysis model, the beam pattern of the electret loudspeaker was measured in an anechoic room. Both the simulated and experimental results are detailed in this article to validate the various assertions related to the directivity of electret cell-based smart speakers.
