The development of sports and the hold of the sports events have promoted the construction of sports venues. However, the government's financial burden restricts the development of sports venues. How to seek a new financing pattern that not only can alleviate the government's pressure of the preparation, but also can build a batch of sports venues to meet people's increasing need, it is the emergency problems to be solved. The three patterns-BOT pattern, PPP pattern, PFI pattern are analyzed, they are suitable for different sports venues. The research not only can promote foreign investment and private capital into the sports facilities, but also can reduce government's financial burden.

Process held in sports events and sports facilities is a key concept. Sports is the sports products production base, with the sports event organizing work unceasingly thorough, the focus gradually around the stadium and development, the resources utilization and allocation according to the layout and characteristics of venues need to. Large sports practice management experts gradually realized "venue" not only for the sport games is very important, for the whole event also played a decisive influence directly. Therefore, the stadium to run the risk of control theory research is very necessary.

Purpose This study aims to develop a battery of items that assess the factors affecting sports events’ success from the promoters’ perspective and a measurement tool that identifies these stakeholders’ main priorities based on the importance-performance analysis (IPA) framework. Design/methodology/approach The research was conducted using mixed methods. In the first qualitative step, sports event management’s main dimensions were identified based on the existing literature and a comprehensive battery of corresponding items were developed via content analysis of interviews with experts. The second quantitative step focused on Lisbon, the 2021 European City of Sport. Promoters of 21 different medium or large sports events (number = 41 respondents) were asked to fill out a survey ranking each dimension’s items by performance and room for improvement. The IPA’s results are presented both for the overall sample and by promoter type (i.e. events with or without sports facilities). Findings The 46 items identified fall into the following three categories: sports infrastructure, city image and hospitality and event management (i.e. pre-event, event and post-event). Pre-event includes stakeholder management, organigram and responsibilities, business plan, marketing mix, risk assessment and sponsorship management. Sponsorship management stands out among the areas considered a priority by event promotors. Originality/value This study adds to the literature by offering a comprehensive approach to assessing empirically all stages of the event management process.

Due to the recent pandemic of COVID-19, sports events around the world are being hit hard in 2020. However, with the KBO league having been opened even though it is late, it has attracted the attention of baseball fans around the world as it becomes an overseas broadcast. However, since the Republic of Korea is also affected by the global economic crisis, the financial burden of professional baseball teams that rely on their parent company has become a hot topic. Therefore, in this study, we collected records such as IP, ERA, and WAR of KBO league FA pitchers and news related to FA contracts. Then, we preprocessed the data and analyzed it. To this end, we analyzed the performance and financial burden indicators according to the pitcher's age and contract years. In addition, it was found that the performance of athletes was maintained until their mid 30’s, and through rational FA contracts, the team and athletes were able to suggest win-win strategies. And with this basic data analysis in the sports industry, the possibility of utilizing these strategies was confirmed.

This paper analyzes the application of intelligent lighting control system in different sports events in sports venues, which is based on the perspective of computer technology. Firstly, this paper analyzes the characteristics of different sports events lighting system in stadiums, proposes a lighting demand analysis algorithm based on grayscale modulation model, and designs a control algorithm based on neural network for intelligent lighting control system. Finally, the paper tests the designed algorithm and the results show that the intelligent lighting control system is effective. The application can play an important role in the optimization of lighting systems in different sports venues, with the value of further promotion in practice.

The grey forecasting method in most of the existing prediction, there are little research on the problem of interval prediction. This paper presents the concept of synthesis of grey number and grey theory, describes the properties of the synthetic ash gray because the grey prediction model is proposed the importance to build the stadium for the first time. On this basis, the thesis analyze the research background and significance, then describes some scene at home and abroad, and then analyzes the important characteristics of large-scale sports events and sports stadium construction, at last, the paper does some prediction about the construction of the stadium. This paper mainly uses the literature investigation method combined with a survey method.

Many sports events, facilities, and franchises are subsidized either directly or indirectly by investments from public sector funds. The scarcity of tax dollars has led to growing public scrutiny of their allocation; in this environment there is likely to be an increased use of economic impact analysis to support public subsidy of these events. Many of these analyses report inaccurate results. In this paper, 11 major contributors to the inaccuracy are presented and discussed. They include the following: using sales instead of household income multipliers; misrepresenting employment multipliers; using incremental instead of normal multiplier coefficients; failing to accurately define the impacted-area; including local spectators; failing to exclude “time-switchers” and “casuals;” using “fudged” multiplier coefficients; claiming total instead of marginal economic benefits; confusing turnover and multiplier; omitting opportunity costs; and measuring only benefits while omitting costs.

The article is devoted to the development of ice sports facilities. The current trends in the development of the architecture of ice arenas and sports facilities in the world are described. The functions of modern ice sports facilities and their transformation from the beginning of the appearance of the first indoor ice arenas are considered. Changes in the typology of ice arenas are considered in connection with the modern conditions of urban life and with the development of construction and engineering technologies. The conditions for the architectural formation of sports facilities with artificial ice are presented. The analysis of domestic and foreign experience in the design of modern sports ice facilities reveals the features of the space-planning structure of urban planning conditions. The prospects for the development of ice sports facilities from the point of view of the multifunctionality and universality of buildings are described. Possible measures aimed at improving the energy efficiency of sports ice arenas and complexes are presented. The article touches upon the issue of ensuring the safety of people in the conditions of their mass congestion at sports events through the architectural and spatial organization of the building and the adjacent territory. Multifunctionality, all-season nature, as well as the growing trend of filling sports ice facilities with public entertainment functions will attract a large number of people to visit ice arenas, as well as raise the level of public interest in sports
