Due to the recent pandemic of COVID-19, sports events around the world are being hit hard in 2020. However, with the KBO league having been opened even though it is late, it has attracted the attention of baseball fans around the world as it becomes an overseas broadcast. However, since the Republic of Korea is also affected by the global economic crisis, the financial burden of professional baseball teams that rely on their parent company has become a hot topic. Therefore, in this study, we collected records such as IP, ERA, and WAR of KBO league FA pitchers and news related to FA contracts. Then, we preprocessed the data and analyzed it. To this end, we analyzed the performance and financial burden indicators according to the pitcher's age and contract years. In addition, it was found that the performance of athletes was maintained until their mid 30’s, and through rational FA contracts, the team and athletes were able to suggest win-win strategies. And with this basic data analysis in the sports industry, the possibility of utilizing these strategies was confirmed.

The subject of this paper is to indicate how COVID-19 pandemic affects the advertising and sponsorship industry in sport. At a time when public indifference is becoming an increasingly insurmountable obstacle for the advertising industry, this branch of industry is now facing an even bigger problem. At the same time, while many athletes and sports entities largely depend on their sponsors, the vast majority of sports events in the world have been canceled. Some athletes earn many times more from their sponsorship contracts than from professional contracts in their clubs, competitions, etc. Losing match revenue is another big concern for clubs and tournaments, especially smaller ones. It is still unclear how the sports industry will overcome the problems caused by the pandemic, nor what kind of future awaits sport in the post-covid-19 era.

The emergence of a pandemic has a great impact on the macroeconomic processes taking place in the world. These processes are also superimposed by the crises of political transformation associated with the emergence of new political elites in global centers that influence the management of economic and political processes around the world. The article examines the probability of a possible economic crisis in Kazakhstan and its consequences. Today, it is very important for the country to objectively analyze all our achievements and failures in economic policy over the past thirty years in order to move forward. The emergence of new payment instruments, digital currency and cryptocurrency contributes to the destruction of the old model of financing the economy, which will inevitably lead to global changes in the world economy and a possible crisis in all areas of development. The main place where these events related to the virtualization of financial resources take place are the stock exchanges and stock markets of the leading countries of the world economy, the so–called “G-7”, and China. Reduction of energy prices may cause deterioration of the balance of payments and sharply increase the costs from the funds of the National Fund of the Republic of Kazakhstan. High inflation under any economic development scenarios can accelerate and go beyond the boundaries of the “inflation corridor” and exceed 10%. Another factor of pressure on the financial and banking sector is an increase in the interest rate at the Central Bank of Russia in the near future to 6.75–7.0%, given our close economic ties within the EAEU.

The basis of any cultural policy is always a certain idea. Sometimes a national idea is used in this capacity. Some ideas are supranational, some are built on a geographical basis rather than on a national one. At the turn of the 21st century, many countries of the world widely discuss the ideas of multiculturalism and the ways of their implementation at the level of public policy. In the article, multiculturalism is considered as a traditional phenomenon in the history of Azerbaijan, due to the ethnic and religious diversity in the region and a tolerant attitude towards representatives of other cultures. It is emphasized that during the period of independence of Azerbaijan, multiculturalism was raised to the level of a state cultural policy. During the years of independence, many mosques have been erected in Azerbaijan, Orthodox churches are being restored and reconstructed, a synagogue and even a Catholic church are being built. In addition, one of the temples of the Albanian Apostolic Church is being restored. The traditions of tolerance are still reflected in the development of not only modern architecture, but also culture and society as a whole. In the speeches and activities of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, multiculturalism is presented as an effective factor in both domestic and foreign policies of the country. In 2008, to launch the policy of multiculturalism, he launched the socalled Baku Process. At the same time, Baku is becoming a venue for many international events of the highest level. Over the past decade, the Baku Humanitarian Forum, the Forum on Intercultural Dialogue, the Eurovision 2012 music contest, the international festival Mugham World have been held here. In 2009 Baku was declared the capital of Islamic culture in 2015 it hosted the first European Games in 2016 the VII Global Forum of the UN Alliance of Civilizations and many other humanitarian, cultural and sports events. In the Decree of the President of the country, 2016 was declared the year of multiculturalism in Azerbaijan, and 2017 the year of Islamic solidarity. All this made it possible for President Aliyev to declare that Azerbaijan has once again established itself as the humanitarian center of the world. An interesting phenomenon of the past decade is the coincidence of assessments of the phenomenon of multiculturalism by experts from Azerbaijan and Russia. This unanimity is seen as particularly promising at the regional level and, above all, in the south of Russia, with its ethnic and religious diversity.

The article analyzes fundamental reasons for the world economic crisis in the light of global technological shifts. It proves that it is caused by the substitution of technological modes. It is shown that sharp increase and slump in stock indices and prices for energy resources are typical of the process of technological substitution which occurs regularly according to the rhythm of long-wave fluctuations of the world economic activity. The article rationalizes a package of anti-crisis measures aimed at stimulating the new technological mode. Its structure and role of the locomotive factor of the new long wave of economic growth are revealed.

This paper shows how solidarity is one of the founding principles in Thomas More's Utopia (1516). In the fictional republic of Utopia described in Book II, solidarity has a political and a moral function. The principle is at the center of the communal organization of Utopian society, exemplified in a number of practices such as the sharing of farm work, the management of surplus crops, or the democratic elections of the governor and the priests. Not only does solidarity benefit the individual Utopian, but it is a prerequisite to ensure the prosperity of the island of Utopia and its moral preeminence over its neighboring countries. However, a limit to this principle is drawn when the republic of Utopia faces specific social difficulties, and also deals with the rest of the world. In order for the principle of solidarity to function perfectly, it is necessary to apply it exclusively within the island or the republic would be at risk. War is not out of the question then, and compassion does not apply to all human beings. This conception of solidarity, summed up as “Utopia first!,” could be dubbed a Machiavellian strategy, devised to ensure the durability of the republic. We will show how some of the recommendations of Realpolitik made by Machiavelli in The Prince (1532) correspond to the Utopian policy enforced to protect their commonwealth.
