An audio signal acquisition and analysis system with low-cost and high performance was developed, taking LabVIEW as the software development platform and the computer sound card as hardware platform. This system is capable of audio signal acquisition, real time dynamic display, analysis processing, storage and display of audio signal. Practical application shows that this system not only has those advantages such as high-precision, stability, reliable performance and being easy-operated, but also can achieve common data-acquisition within the designed frequency range of the sound card. The signal acquisition technology based on the sound card, especially the technology combining with virtual instruments has broad prospects in the field of engineering test measurement and teaching practice.

A multi tone modulation system design and development with a low-cost and high performance was developed, taking LabVIEW as the software development platform and the computer sound card as the hardware platform. The system is capable of audio signal acquisition, multi tone modulation, demodulation, waveform and spectrum analysis, and other functions. Actual application shows that the system is not only high accuracy, and reliable, stable performance, easy to operate and extensions. The signal collection technology based on the sound card and the combination of virtual instrument has a broad application prospect in engineering survey and practical teaching.

In this paper, we used Lab VIEW development platform, designed a virtual signal acquisition and analysis system based on the soundcard. In addition we studied the signal acquisition performance of it. This system has functions of signal acquisition, analysis, waveform display and storage. It is easy to use with good interface, and function appending is available on user requirement. It offers a kind of DAQ solution with low cost. It has broad application prospect, can be extended to the field of speech recognition, ambient noise monitoring and laboratory measurement etc.

The system is stable, full-featured, easy to operate and has good scalability and low cost high performance.

The introduction of the virtual instrument technology provides new ideas for the developments of the temperature acquisition. This paper presents the design of temperature acquisition system based on VI technology. This system takes LABVIEW as the software development platform, simulating environmental temperature parameters via temperature sensors and heaters. Through the USB-6009 data collecting cards environmental temperature is sent to LABVIEW software platform for analysis. The system has the functions of data acquisition, display, storage, callback, save, analysis, printing statements and limit alarm processing and so on, and completes the real-time collection and analysis of the temperature.

For the study dynamic characteristics of three-dimensional roll forming machine, this paper develops a dynamic characteristics measurement and analysis system of three-dimensional roll forming machine, which is based on the U.S. NI company software development platform, including the development of hardware and software part .The realization of dimensional roll forming machine dynamics parameters collection and analysis, the experiment proved that the test system can be easily field measurements demand dynamics parameters, to improve the three-dimensional roll forming machine precision and control accuracy to provide an experimental basis.

Recently, the Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) technology offers the potential of designing high performance systems at low cost. The discrete wavelet transform has gained the reputation of being a very effective signal analysis tool for many practical applications. However, due to its computation-intensive nature, current implementation of the transform falls short of meeting real-time processing requirements of most application. The objectives of this paper are implement the Haar and Daubechies wavelets using FPGA technology. In addition, the comparison between the Haar and Daubechies wavelets is investigated. The Bit Error Rat (BER) between the input audio signal and the reconstructed output signal for each wavelet is calculated. It is seen that the BER using Daubechies wavelet techniques is less than Haar wavelet. The design procedure has been explained and designed using the stat-of-art Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools for system design on FPGA. Simulation, synthesis and implementation on the FPGA target technology has been carried out.

Along with the computer software technology, the virtual instrument is gradually become the development direction of the test area. The realizing vibration test which is analyzed by adopting the virtual instrument has become the development trend of vibration test. It firstly introduces relevant simulation technology theory, the principle of fault diagnosis, the significance and the development present situation. Then according to the research for the development current situation of condition monitoring and fault diagnosis at home and abroad, it puts forward the vibration test analysis system composed the necessary sensors, signal disposal device and data acquisition card. At last it uses labwindows software produced in NI to do the development platform.

This paper introduces a design of ASIC with the advantages of high performance, low power, low cost and short development cycle, which is especially suitable for the middle and small scale production of complicated large programmable ASIC. Through introducing the performance and latest development of HardCopy series devices and Stratix FPGA series devices, and based on the development platform of Quartus II and Nios II system, this paper analyzes the complete development process of Stratix FPGA and HardCopy ASIC based on SOPC. This paper concludes the seamless transplant from Stratix FPGA to HardCopy ASIC based on the SOPC with IP multiplexing, which is the most promising development direction of producing large programmable ASIC with high performance and low cost in the future.

Based on LabVIEW, this paper presents a design scheme of data acquisition, which it proposes using computer and ordinary data collection card as the main hardware and LabVIEW as software development platform, thus constructs the virtual instrument system for signal acquisition. The system can realize synchronous data acquisition of single channel or multi-channel signal, as well as real-time display and preservation. The practice shows that this scheme can not only effectively play performance of ordinary data acquisition card, but also reduce greatly program development time and beautify interface through LabVIEW which has powerfully visual human-machine interface editor and graphical programming function.
